Cons: Sound is somewhat poorVideo quality is not crispClose-Up (within 1 foot) is blurry

Pros: Cheap8gB yields a lot of recording timeEasy to useH.264 Codec / AVI Format
Comment:
Had this pocket cam for about 3-4 months now, ordered from NCIX at $89.99. Extremely good bang for the buck, in my opinion. Difficult to find another pocket cam for the same price. The quality you get in comparison to something like the Flip Mino HD is a little poor. It seems to not pick up sound that well, in regards to lower frequencies.Video quality on close-ups (For example, to display words on the rear of a product description) is very bad. Hardly legible. With all that in mind, I could not think of why this wouldn't deserve 4/5 stars considering the price. For what it can do, at 90 dollars this is an excellent camera that is very handy and easy to use.The format in HD+ mode (720p with some filters) is in h.264 as .AVI. You can simply point, shoot, record, transfer to the computer and upload onto youtube if you want.

Cons: - Freezes sometimes, buggy software

Pros: - Compact- Decent battery life- Impressive quality for the price- Affordable video recording
Comment:
For the price I paid for this camera, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the video recording. This really does a lot for about $100 - the video quality is the typical quality you can expect from YouTube vlogs, which is good enough for casual video recordings, or vlogs, etc. The camera has frozen on me a few times but I can't complain - a reset usually fixes it. At $90, it was a steal.

Cons: The battery doesn't last a long time, I've never used it to its full length but I think it can go for 1-2hrsThe case makes the cam really ugly... but hey at least it does the jobThe sound is about parNo SD expansion slots

Pros: Great price - bought it for $90Comes with HDMI cableComes with a protective caseGood quality video and 8 Gb of space3 different video modes

This laptop was a great buy for me. I'm planning to go on a vacation in about 2 months so I bought this a while back when it went on sale. Since then I've used it a couple of times and I was quite pleased. Even though it can only record 2 hours of video, you can lower the quality a bit to get more recording done with the same amount of space if you can recharge this in between. I also like the case because my hand does get oily sometimes and I don't want my cam to get dirty. The sound isn't the best but I think its normal for cam's this size since the mic is so tiny. I think they were very kind to include a HDMI cable so I can watch what I recorded directly from my TV.

Got it for my sister's bday, enough for her to take some random short video, the battery last ok long, about 2 hrs after fully charged. Take about 40-45 mins to refill it.The program come with the camera is easy to use as well, also come with HDMI cable. Overall is a very nice and easy use camcorder.

Cons: sound is not the best, but not horrible, maybe average to above averga compared to devices in the same price range. but if you had a gen 3 there is external microphone support.. My Gen 2 picks up voice pretty good.. but i couldn't see it working so hot recording a large group or meeting

Pros: Great video quality for something priced this low.it does 720P and the quality is pretty good.fits in a pocket.8 GB works out to about 2 hours of 720P video..with more recording time on the non HD recording modes.and I can use it as a bulky flash drive if you're stuck without a flash drive when you need one.Has a usb connection built in, connects with both mac and pc and you can pull video off it.on win* machines, it also comes with its own basic editingand video management utilities -- that autoruns as soon as the Vado is plugged inThe Vado also comes with a protective soft plastic case/skin thing.. so far, even with it in our pocket out riding, it hasn't gotten banged up.. or soaked on our ride home in the rain
Comment:
Bought during one of NCI's sales. I needed a HD video recorder that would fit in my vest pocket while we ride out on ATVs..and it has good battery life. The Vado doesn't have much (maybe none at all) video stabilzation.. But holding onto the side of it when trying to do a video makes any camera shakes go away easy.Long story short, for the right application, its just about perfect. Here's a link to a video we recorded using the Vado. youtube seems to lose a bit of quality.. even when using the HD upload thing.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtb0Br1fvEEmake sure you select  720p to get an idea of what the average action/outside video looks like with it. There's a few other videos linked from my youtube account if you want to see a few other videos using the vado.. or heck -- just search for Vado in youtube for 1000's of videos recorded on a Vado. Cons: expendable SD card slot will be better

Pros: small, clear picture
Comment:
received my Vado HD 2nd 8GB today, very like it. the video is clear even at indoor dark room with light. First, I cannot turn on the power after it turned off by itself. try to search the website, and found a lot of issues like this. someone mentioned to fix it by reinstalled battery or downloading the new fireware and software from Creative website. I tried all of them and still would get it work(I mean to turn it on). then I was going to contact to NCIX to ask for exchanging as most people on the website. Finally, i found a power on switch on the right side of screen marked with red line. push it and it turned on. how stupid we are. I hope this will help these people which they have the same problem as me.
