Great fan. Has Dual ball bearing, so it will last longer with continuous use. Utilized it with my Antec case so it just slid appropriate in without having getting to use the screws. Pricey for an LED Fan If it goes on sale i would possibly acquire yet another 1.

Strong and bright. The 3 speed switch worked fine on all the three I purchased. It is pretty quiet taking into consideration the size and the amount of air it blows. Nothing at all bad to say This fan is FAN-tastic for my objective. I have a Cooler Master Stacker 830 with eight fans and is not as loud as I had antisipated. This fan and the others are not heard over my Vantec Thermalflows of the very same size.

Case looks great and extremely effortless to set up components. Every thing fit completely. Front panel wire could have been a little longer to dress nicely, and the fans could have been setup much better for wire dressing. Not truly an problem, I just like things to be neat! I like the power supply in the bottom of the case. Keeps the center of gravity a small reduce. But be warned!!! The screws when dropped will fall into the power provide and call for a lot of fun to get them out. Put some paper more than the fan outlet when you are putting items with each other!

Moves a lot of air, three-speed controller, minimal noise (on High), and actually cool LED's Just a small loud, but what else do you expect? That implies it's undertaking it's job. I way over-measured the mount i intended to place this on so I rather mounted it on the perforated side panel; it took really a bit of perform but i produced it occur. Sadly I ordered this from Wal Mart.com due to the fact I had a giftcard, sorry Newegg.

Fits my Antec case perfectly... Has three-setting switch to adjust fan speed/sound level... plugs straight to motherboard for power with RPM sensor... Or you can plug it into 4-pin molex connector.. LEDs are good and bright .. incredibly quiet on low or medium... none

I under no circumstances believed that I would be 1 that would like LED illuminated fans, but the blue color actually sets off this Antec case. The fan has three speeds low, medium, and high. On low the fan is practically inaudible. The fan came with a three prong plug with a wholesome length of wire. I was capable to run the wire from the front of the case to the extremely back of my motherboard to plug in the fan. The fan also came with a 4 prong molex adapter that also sported a fan speed lead for those who didn't want to energy the fan off of the motherboard. Personally, I assume the three pin connection looks considerably much better than the four pin adapter.Moves a considerable quantity of air maintaining my processor very cool. To be fair, I have an aftermarket cooler that was currently keeping my processor incredibly cool, but with the more movement of air from the front I shouldn't ever have any temperature problems. I assume that the added airflow would enable hold the temperature cool in practically any case. The plastic on the fan doesn't instill any confidence that the fan will final when you screw in the retaining screws. It sounds like the plastic is cracking when installing the self tapping screws. I wouldn't advise over tightening them as I really feel that they would strip out. They may not, but they positive really feel like they would be simple to strip out.The fan switch is on a quite brief leash. On any other case than an ANTEC this may well be an concern. On the Antec 300 case they created a cutout where the fan speed switch could be positioned on the back side of the 5 1ǘ inch drive bays allowing straightforward access from the back panel. With any other case that I have owned this brief length would make it impossible to manage the fan speed with no removing the front bezel or one of the hard drives to access the switch. You may possibly be in a position to position the fan where the switch protrudes out on the left side as extended as you have some clearance in between the side cover and the five 1ǘ inch bay. Narrow circumstances be warne The value of the fan is genuinely additional than I really feel like it is worth. I can get a similar ANTEC fan with no the LEDs for about five or six dollars much less than I paid for this one particular. So the genuine inquiries becomes is the cool look worth the further 5 bucks. I pondered this question for a extended time prior to lastly deciding that it was worth it. Had I not noticed how they looked on a relative's machine initial I may possibly have been swayed to skip the LEDs and go with the less expensive ANTEC fan. I am actually glad that I didn't and I believe that you will too. The fan actually sets off my black case. Particularly due to the fact all of the other energy indicators have blue LEDs as well.I don't think that you could go incorrect with this fan. I have never been disappointed with a Antec fan as I have from other companies.

These fans are 1 of the handful of that have speed controllers in them which is really good to lower sound in low finish computers and still get the complete energy of the LED lighting. The fans move a lot of air and final for years i have purchased a lot of in the past from various other stores locally. And i have the very first 1 i ever purchased in 2007 nonetheless in my personal computer working completely. Since these have speed controllers on them, it tends to make it virtually impossible for fan controllers to handle their speeds. Cases like the NZXT Phantom which comes with a built in controller will only effect the brightness of the LED's the speeds will have to be manually changed. These are not excellent fans to use if going to combine with a fan controller. I advocate Xigmatec or Gelid fans. For some reason antec only installed three lights into these fans, when most led fans have 4. The light from these fans are not even it simply just "shines" on the fan blades and does not light up the case that significantly. If your looking for some incredibly excellent fans that will final a long time get these, they are so worth it. Any antec item i have purchased has lasted me years there items are quite effectively built.

-Moves a lot of air-LED's are excellent-three Speeds all work effectively Pre-Drilled Holes are NOT threaded nor are they effortless to set up with the screws supplied. I ended up getting to use a drill to make the hole slightly bigger just before I could feel about getting these in. The challenge becomes worse when you have to force these screws into the fan when hoping your hand doesn't slip and whack one thing in your case.Bottom Line is that a job I believed would only take me 30-45 min Ɣ fans) took me about an hour and a half. Not for these with week biceps.

This case is money. A lot of space. Tons of attributes, and it lights up actual nice. Adjustable fan speed is huge. Turn it up when overclocking, or leave it on low with defaults and listen to it purr. I'm very pleased I choose this case. Microphone and Speaker inputs are not colour coded. You have to guess which a single is which the 1st time. Not a big deal, but I had to list a con suitable :)

Bought these to supplement equivalent fans in my Antec 300 cases. Operates as advertised. Blue LED fan with 3-position speed switch. Silent on slow. Just a burble of air blowing on middle speed. Tried rapid speed playing and it simply was too loud for me. Functions excellent. None. I want they created these LED fans so you could easily DC the led (or not) as required and then they could be employed either way......

This fan appears cool, keeps my personal computer cool and is somewhat quiet even on high speed. The length of the three-speed handle switch is virtually comically brief. To utilize the speed manage switch with the fan mounted on the side of my Antec 900 Two case, I had to stick it by means of the water cooling opening. Not satisfied with that setup, I switched this fan with the 120mm a single in the rear of the case, because it has a a lot longer cord for the speed handle. You'd believe Antec would make a a fan that would have a extended sufficient cord to match in an Antec case, there was even an extra opening in the rear manage panel for this fan.The cord is about 10cm or three.5in lengthy, so verify where you're putting this thing just before you obtain it.
