Cons: No driver for Windows Server 2003 or 2008 from Nvidia site
Pros: price, quietness and 1GB memory |
I bought this to use in my server HP ProLiant ML330 G6, but neither the accompanying CD or Nvidia site provided the right drivers. The Nvidia site lists the driver for Windows Server 2003, but that does not work, while it does not list any driver for Windows Server 2008 at all. But the Nvidia automatic detect button was useful. It found a driver for Windows Server 2008 and also for Windows Server 2008 R2, which in fact turned out to be Windows 7 driver. The thing is that whatever the name is, the driver works perfectly fine, which is all I needed.
