Lots of fantastic attributes packed in a somewhat cheap motherboard. No installation difficulties. It booted right up with the most recent BIOS. The prime PCI express 1x slot was messed up. The cards I plugged into it all designed huge DPC latency spikes that created listening to music or watching video subsequent to impossible (the cards worked fine in other computers). I didn't try the other 1x slot mainly because my video card was blocking it. If the PCI 1x slot worked, this mobo would get a perfect rating. Rather, I had to send it back for บ. But NewEgg waived the restocking charge. Am I the only 1 who hates those sideways SATA ports? The core unlocker functions. It took my AMD 555 Black edition CPU to a quad core without a problem. It's a stable board and it operates. This board has a built in Radeon 4250 graphics board. The HDMI only puts out to my plasma Tv a signal of a thing like 720 X 480. It says that it's in 32 bit mode, but it looks like eight bit graphics mode. I get like 1080 x 720 from the PSǘ plug to the Pc input on the Television. So don't get it for the built in Radeon 4250 like I did. Get a board without having a graphics card and add a card that works.MSI had a driver on their internet site to let you get sound through your HDMI cable, but it didn't operate for me.Speaking of drivers. The driver CD was not incredibly very good at all. Download all the drivers from the net website. I purchased it also for the 6gb SATA and the USB three. ports. Thinking that it will last into the future. I'm positive it's a fine board for all makes use of except an HTPC. If I had to do it more than once again, I'd probably attempt to come across the very same board devoid of the built in graphics card and use the cash I saved to get a separate graphics card. Both northbridge and southbridge chips look to run substantially cooler than most testimonials I've observed. Heat sinks are mounted with metal screws. Strong caps all around, excellent develop quality, and it worked perfectly out of the box. Whilst there are three fan headers, only two (CPU and a single SYS fan) show in BIOS and in SIW, and only the CPU has four-pin PWM manage. I replaced a four-year-old, abruptly-failed Asus M2NBP-VM CSM with this board. The MSI booted up employing a GPARTED clone of my old disk (XP 32). I only required to alter devices, reboot, and I was back up and operating.I wanted a prime-of-the-line 880G mATX board with much more than just two fan headers, and Asus doesn't make a single. So, this is the very first non-Asus board I've purchased for myself. Ironically, my selections four years ago had been among an Asus and MSI board, and the MSI had only two fan headers. Are you listening, Asus? Even some low-cost Foxconn boards have 3 4-pin PWM fan headers.I'm utilizing G.Skill 2x2GB DDR3-1333, Antec EarthWatts 380, Athlon II X2 265 Ɠ.3), WD 640GB Sata 6., and an Asus LightScribe burner.

I appreciate this board. Loaded with capabilities that you would count on from a 赨 board. I set it ideal up, currently has the latest BIOS. Hex-a-core chip recognized correctly appropriate away. Lots of features in BIOS and computer software. Does a lot far more than I want. None for me. USB three. Wow!

Terrific tiny board with lots of attributes, A lot of connections and extremely spacious for a micro atx board. Great layout and labeled properly. So far so very good, have not tried to use the core unlcker but, but in time. I normally use ATX boards, but decided to try a micro for a change, and its truly not bad, put in a Rosewill Blackhawk case and lots of space to perform and hide cables.
