I posted to this correct following we got it and just wanted to follow up. This board is so out there! It is utilised for gaming, chat, all the rest and it has been ideal. We can't say adequate fantastic about this mobo. Of all the computer's I've constructed over the years this gets a 10 out of 10. NONE! Quick set up (read my first post), performs with Windows 7 wonderful! All of the add-ons we've thrown at it worked seamlessly. Can't praise MSI enough for this piece of art. NewEgg has the finest value I've identified anywhere. No worries!!! Hope they retain it about for a when. I could want to construct one more 1 just like the first develop.

It appears good. However I may possibly never ever know due to the fact I have received a d1 on the boards display. Immediately after researching forums for the previous couple of hours and have discovered a quantity of persons have had the similar error. I have now tried numerous of the "fixes" (reinstalling ram and graphics card [into both the identical and different slots], checking the stand offs in the case, resetting cmos, checking energy connectors.....) and I am nevertheless stuck. Just frustrated. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Buyer,We would like to apologize for the problem you have knowledgeable with this distinct mb. Great motherboard, quickly, uncomplicated to install. Booted 1st time no issue. none genuinely. possibly that annoying red led. Bought it the 18th of march and didn't unpack and build it till the 28th of march. Began filling out rebates about the 31st, and you need your serial sticker on the back of the motherboard. Wish I knew that ahead of time as a initially time purchaser, so looks like there will be no 20 dollar rebate for me.

What I can price is the tech assistance. I would get responses in a matter of a couple of hours. The replies were intelligent, thorough, and useful. And polite; that counts a lot. There is no drool tray for when you slobber all over this purty issue. So tuck a napkin under your chin or sumthin'. At the time of this writing ྡྷባቧ), this board does not help the best-of-the-line 1100T CPU. A Beta BIOS is offered but MSI advises you to check their CPU Assistance list to see what is officially supported.

Lots of good attributes, rapidly, simple to use Had to be replaced after much less than a year. Really shody poor workmanship. This is the 1st board I can bear in mind getting to replace in more than 10 years. My earlier builds have been ASUS and ABIT and had completely no troubles other than 1 was a bit quirky. I had anticipated this build to final me a very extended time considering the cost I had paid and the supposed excellent of the components. There are not words to express how disappointed I was with this item and I can guarantee I will not contemplate MSI in the future when I go to upgrade such as I am getting to do now. For goodness sake and for your personal sanity stay away from this. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Buyer,We would like to apologize for the challenge you have seasoned with this distinct mb. Awsome hardware help and future upgrade possibilities. Up 2133 Mhz memory, all AMD CPU assistance. Up to Quad X-fire or Qaud SLI. AMD or Intel the selection is yours. Two ethernet ports enables for world wide web and LAN to be set up without having ad on cards and with 10럼񲿘Mbps bandwith quite good. Couldnt locate the key to tap to enter bios upon startup in any of the manuals called MSI and its F11. Initial MSI board owned. Board has a ton on inputs for multiple devices and supports a lot of expandability.Port places are all in the correct place. The only explanation I had to use any cable exts were due to the big case that I had.The OC application and monitoring computer software it came with are wonderful also. Can be applied by either non or experienced folks. Nothing so far. The computer software that comes with is a tiny out of date, but MSI has all the new ones quickly findable on their web-site. OC functions are fantastic and actually uncomplicated to use. No compatibility troubles either

The nicest searching motherboard I've built in a while for confident.Wonderful design and style with so several pci express slots I adore it.Runs four 9500 GT video cards at 8X on every single slot.Runs the 6 core AMD 1100T flawlessly on newest bios.Registers all of my 16gb's of ram.Certainly gorgeous design awesome motherboard.Every thing is extremely high excellent even the product manuals and installation guides quite incredibly high good quality.Great board incredibly solid. When I updated to the newest bios I got error 38 soon after reading on it the code appears to be a problem for detecting video cards so right after I removed 3 of the cards began it back up and set the bios up again and right after I did that I installed the video cards once again and all worked well.It was a bit scary not generating it past the commence screen image and locked hard so you can't get in the bios but following I did what I listed above it's been running flawlessly and it didn't do any of this until I updated the bios.PCI EXPRESS SLOT two - 3 - 4 are incredibly close and my single 9500 gt's wouldn't run that close simply because the screw pattern on the back so this could be an concern if you strategy on utilizing all ports on the other hand if you're just employing four single cards and run them at 1 - two - four - 5 you won't have an concern and all cards will run at 8x. Every little thing is working great following the tiny scare of updating the bios and receiving code 38 on the boards LED.Immediately after the measures above almost everything has been flawless.

At stock settings the board is stable and speedy. Good layout and functions. Any try to overclock working with the biosƑ.7) or MSI manage center benefits in endless reboots and getting to reset cmos by jumper clear. I ran auto overclock utilizing handle center and a modest jump from 200 fsb to 207 fsb final results in failed overclock try. I am incredibly disappointed in this board, a genuine let down. I have been developing computer systems for 10 years and at this point I want I would have bought an Asus or Gigabyte board. I wish I could return it.

Great overclockability Tonnes of BIOS capabilities in Cell MenuIndicator lightsDebug codes on boardTemperatures when benchmarking, gaming, and priming are as anticipated. Place of Debug codes only make it ideal for testing purposes only - would rather have Pc speaker connected and leave out the debug codes as they don't aid a lot anyways Contrary to my prior critique, I have concluded that this board is wonderful at its price tag point. One particular of the reasons why I chose this board was the maximum RAM speed assistance and price tag versus the ASUS crosshair 4. For these who've grown weary of ASUS, MSI's flavour is absolutely worth a try. First MSI board I've owned and I most probably will acquire their merchandise in the future.

This is an superb mainboard and MSI did the product packaging suitable. The normal cables, I/O panel, and so on. are all there, and they've integrated a nice poster identifying all those tiny connectors for audio, front-panel LEDs, switches, etc. The included application is also clever and functional, updating itself to the most up-to-date version with ease, and enabling you to tweak just about something. The on-board LEDs might be a little overboard for some customers, but they can be deactivated.

The board looks seriously good in most instances, given that the majority of situations are black, the giants MOSFET heatsink is nice and doesn't get in the way of the Noctua NH-D14, it has dual PCIe 2. x16 lanes at full speed with a lot of space among them so you don't have to water cool, my last ASUS board had the PCIe so close the cards couldn't breathe. There is no Load Line Calibration Enable/Disable, if it's "Built-in" then i would be ashamed to admit it. I purchased this board with the intent to overclock, i paid well over 赨 for this, and the usualy board of competition was out of stock. Quite a few critiques stated the board overclocked 1090t's to 4.2ghz+, even though we all know every chip is differant, the chip is not the issue, nor is the Power supply. The voltage this board distributes is inconsistant at best, involving load and idle there is a entire .50v differance, if that isn't poor sufficient, the voltage set in the BIOS is always a lot more or much less than what you're aiming for, causing instibility on really light overclocks. It's a excellent board, don't get me incorrect, you CAN hit four.2ghz+ as i have performed, but figuring this board out is exactly where you commence to disrespect it, alot of persons buy ASUS, or other brands so the BIOS is additional familiar to them, this is like buying a foreign automobile in america back in the early 1900's and asking a person to operate on it, it's just completly differant with -some- similarities.for the record, you have to off-set CPU-VDD and CPU Voltage as a manual LLC configuration, and that requires you to figure out given that each and every powersupply will deliver differant amp's and voltages.AMD Phenom II x6 1090t @ four.2ghz | CPU-NB 2800mhz | HTT Link 2600mhz4GB RipJaw 1333 7-7-7-21 RAMDual Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 O.C @ 850񳂠Noctua NH-D14
