Pros: great gaming cardlots of foldingphome ppd Comment:
I bought this card on sale for $249.99 as an upgrade from an EVGA geforce 9500gt. Plays my games (GTA4, Oblivion, Battlestations: Pacific, Far Cry 2) on my 21inch monitor. My card came factory overclocked even though I ordered a regular version (was a nice bonus!). This video card is amazing for foldingphome and other distributed computing programs too. |

Cons: Too Big!!Takes up way too much room in a mid tower case
Pros: Great video card for the price!Free Batman Arkham Asylum with purchase of card Comment:
This is a pretty sweet video card for the price. I think it is the sweet spot in terms of price to performance. Free game was a nice bonus with it too. The worst thing though is that it is way too big. It blocks off the serial port connectors on my motherboard making it necessary to remove the video card every time you want to swap out hard drives. I guess if you don't do that much it's not an issue. |

Pros: Great card. Games fun awesome Comment:
I bought this card about a week ago. Upgraded from a 8800 GT 512MB. I have a Q9550 OC to 3.16Ghz EVGA 750I, 4GB 1066 DDR2, WINXP Pro 64bit.It runs awesome and to my surprise it came factory clocked to the GTX 275 Superclocked card speeds 648 core 2376 memory. Lucky me. Running America's Army 3 with everthing cranked my load temps are around 70-75c. All other games FSX, FS2004, rFactor, 18 WOS Haulin are around 60-65C.Well worth the money |

Cons: -too big-stock cooling-power consumption
Pros: -Runs well-plays gta4, call of duty 4, and crisis with no problems-good looking in side the case.-good price Comment:
Over all i am vary pleased with this card. The only problems i had with it was getting it in the case. This was my first build on a i7 processor. When i put the fan at %70 it keaps it at 60 celcious for gta. Over all great card i had to get a 750 watt power supply because of how much power it takes so be carefull on what you by but completly satisfied with the product |

Cons: None.
Pros: Runs all my games on max graphics.Cheep Comment:
I went from a gtx8800 to this card. I found that my gtx8800 couldn't keep up with 1920x1200 resolution so I decided to get this card. It runs way more cooler than my gtx8800, I was getting 90C while playing COD but with this card I get 70C. I defiantly would buy this card again! |

Cons: PriceClock
Pros: Nvidia Drivers are always spot onGreat Graphics, up to date Comment:
For a bit less (25-50$) you can buy a similar (better oc'd) 4890 from ATI. Thats why im giving it 3 stars, is it worth it to pay for an NVIDIA sticker? Personnaly i think not |
TonyY@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 08/12/09 |
Cons: It is very large. I had to remove a hdd cage. It was empty but I had a fan mounted on it. Requires two 12V lines.
Pros: Extremely fast. Terrific price at the moment. Excellent heat management. Very quiet when compared to the other fans in the case. Comment:
was almost half the price of my previous card and it mops up at my monitor's resolution of 1680x1050. My games are running nice and smooth with all the eye candy. |

Cons: -None
Pros: -Great bang for buck-More than enough power from 1680x1050-Runs fairly cool Comment:
This is definitely the card to get for 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 because one, it provides enough juice for today's games at 1680x1050 and has enough juice to last for future games that require more processing power, and two it performs admirably well at 1920x1080. I would highly recommend this card with a Core 2 Quad or Core i7 build to unleash the power of this card. Take my word for it! |

Cons: Makes a funny noise when folding
Pros: Awesome price, runs cool, pretty looking Comment:
I used this card to replace a friends 9600GT - awesome upgrade. It runs really cool and very easily overclocked(thanks to evga's OCing utility). Great purchace - will be used to replace my sli 9800gt's |
Jamone_R@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 07/23/09 |
Cons: - At 10.5 inches it may not fit in some mid-tower cases. I have 8 millimeters of clearance.- More or less an 285GTX cut down just enough to top ATI's 4870 and the 4980.
Pros: -Affordable Price plays most current titles with no lag -Quiet- Pretty design- Faster then the ATI 4890 in the majority of games- Easily overclockable to beat the 285GTX. Comment:
This card replaced my a 4850 setup. This card MUCH faster. It runs all my games maxed out with no lag with my Core i7 920 and 3Gigs of RAM. Runs quiet, takes less then 250WAtts to run, looks sexy. I had issues installing it because this card is nearly a foot in length and I own a mid-tower Soprano RS101 case, but a got it after 20mins. I recommend this card to full-tower owners. This card is as of July 23rd the best mid-range on the market IMO and with express shipping, I had the card the next morning. Thanks NCIX. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-23-09 08:01 PM |

Cons: -Runs hot-Long card at about 10.5 inch-Rebate =(
Pros: -Fan is fairly quiet-Comes with quite a bit of accessories. Comment:
The price of this card is ok. The card runs fairly hot. Idle is about 50C and load is about 65C. It's about 10C higher than my 9800gtx+. Have not tried overclocking yet because the temperature is already higher than what I would like. Hopefully the temperatures will drop a little during winter. I can max out most games at 1920x1200 with AA and AF. Not a big fan of the red theme on the card but meh. |
Rosie_S@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 07/14/09 |
Cons: Nothing.
Pros: Fast, Just shy of a gtx 285 and when over clocked beats it! Comment:
Red theme people seems to hate, but thankfully i have a full red theme case HAF 932 so this all works out in the end.Very good for todays games. SLI them for some crysis ultra settings. |

Pros: LooksFunctionalityOverclockabilityFolding PowerPower consumptionHMDI Adapter IncludedStays Fairly Cool Comment:
When bought on sale, a very very reasonable card. Will stream through most games on very high settings and will not lag out. Overclockability is reported to be very high, and this card can chomp through the WU's when folding. It is a tad pricey, however it makes up in value when purchaced at a pricematch, or on sale. SLI rigs with these in it must slaughter all 295's! Great card all around, EVGA has a hit a sweet spot here folks! Value, Step-up, and good solid functionality. GJ! |

RYANNN@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 05/17/09 |
Cons: Fan speed control.
Pros: Fast and quite Comment:
It is very fast and overclocks very well. Can play anything I throw at it at 1080p max settings. The one bad thing is that the auto fan setting is really useless because the fan speed never goes up until the gpu hits 80 degrees. As a result, it is very quite but for overclocking, you have to increase the fan speed which can be easily done through EVGA precision software. |
I purchased this for my new gaming rig, and am very happy with the performance. The fan is quiet, even under full load, and the picture quality is excellent. I haven't yet played with the HDMI capabilities, but that is next on my list!
