Cons: Heats my 12X12X9 room to uncomfortable temps.Doesn't run DX11.

Pros: Runs most recent games at medium to high settings, and older games at Premium settings.
Comment:
With this the Source Engine games (Counterstrike Source, Half Life 2) get over 200 fps average at absolute max settings with 1080P resolution, even games like Faoout: New Vegas can run at Ultra Settings with same res and get an avg of 60+ fps.Overall is a great card, kinda late on the review seeing as the 400 Series and start of the 500 Series cards are already released. If you can get one for cheap ($100 and under) definitely get it.

Cons: Bigger than i though, check your case specs before buying!

Pros: Runs cool and quietPretty good performance for the price
Comment:
This is a pretty good card for the price. It runs crysis on very high v1080P at 25-40 FPS, so it will run MOST games out there! It does not have directx 11 support but there is almost no differences at all.

Pros: fast, plays all recent titles maxed out, can run crysis
Comment:
These cards are blazing fast and have the power to run almost all recent game titles at HD resolutions with 30-60fps no problem. This card can be overclocked to gtx 280 specs with some minor tweaks

Pros: - Excellent gameplay- No lag!- EVGA FTW!
Comment:
I upgraded my 8800GTS to this nice card and I am very impressed!!! This has about a 100% increase in performance which is amazing. I could not play Bad Company 2 on high settings because of lagging from the 8800GTS (medium settings work fine). When I put this in and tested it out, I could play on max settings with absolutely no lag whatsoever. This card is not for the weak at heart, as it is very big so it would be best to own a full tower case in order for this to fit. You will force yourself to tear up pieces of any small/mid sized cases just to fit in this bad boy. All in all, I am very impressed and I highly recommend this!

I used this card in the gaming PC I built last summer and I just love it!! I can max out many of the newest games without too much frame stutter. About the only issue I have with the card is that its HUGE... it pretty much blocks one of the hard drive bays in my case.

While it might not be the best card out right now, this definitely should not be overlooked. This card runs games GREAT at stock settings. And if you overclock it, this card beats out the GTX 280. All-in-all, it's a seriously good card from a seriously good manufacturer.

I looked around at the different cards available and finally chose the EVGA GTX 260. This card was the perfect upgrade for my PSU. Tiger's price and EVGA products are hard to beat. EVGA also has great customer service when needed. Buy this card, you will love it!!

While searching for a GPU for my new custom built tower, I went through quite a few - at first I looked at the EVGA GTS 250, but I'm glad I went with the GTX 260 instead. This video card is smokin, runs every game I've got at maximum graphics with no issues, installation was easy as well. The biggest problem with this card is it's size, dont try to put it in a mini-tower case, make sure you have a mid tower or full tower. The card itself weighs something like 2 LBS, it's 10.5 inches from front to back, about 4-5 inches wide, and roughly an inch thick. It dominates the bulk of the computer's innards, and in a small case I'm not sure you'd be able to run wires around it effectively, if it fit at all. The card is solid, though, and definitely of very high quality manufacture. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get a high quality gaming GPU without spending a fortune.

I just got this upgrade from a 8600GT SLI and believe me this is the best GeForce I ever had. Games like Prince of Persia, GRID, NFS Shift and Unreal Tournament 3 with PhysX mod runs at the max settings and 1680x1050 at very high frame rates. Crysis runs like 30-40 fps at the max. This is a great card! I cant imagine how fast will be in SLI. My specs: Pentium D 930, 8GB DDR2 OCZ SLI, nForce 680i, Win7 x64, X-Fi Prelude 64MB and 650W PSU.

Cons: A bit pricey for performance.

Pros: Great mid-range video card. Room for OC'ing if you desire.
Comment:
If you can buy this card for sub $200 after January 2010, it'd be worth it. As a $200+ card, you have better options I think in terms of ATI's 4870 or 4890. I paid less than $200 for it, so I felt I got my worth out of it.A solid video card nonetheless.

It is, of course, HUGE, taking up two card slots and requiring two 6 pin power connections. But, it is very quiet and suits my graphic needs very well and is very quiet.

I wasn't expecting to get the performance and features from a single card. Noiseless fan, even with high loads. Max graphics settings on all games with no dropped frames and high fps without any OCing. For the price, you can't beat it. One thing to note, the card is huge. I have a full size antec case and had to rearrange HD's to get it to fit.

Put 2 of these pippies into my new build and really enjoy em but was a little miffed to learn they haven't designed a water block for it yet. I might have done my homework a little better I suppose (never assume anything :) so I'll put a few more fans to work until blocks come out or I trade up for a faster SLI configuration.

Cons: -Long (Blocks 3 out of the 5 SATA ports on my mATX motherboard - MA78GM-US2H)

Pros: -Fast-Quieter than other previous gen nvidia cards-Works great with 2 DVI connected monitors.
Comment:
Right now, I would classify this is the best performance per dollar of the nvidia graphics cards. Pkays any game I've thrown at it on high settings at 1680x1050 resolution. Runs around 70C with stock cooling on full load (BOINC). Highly recommended, This review was modfied by poster @ 11-17-09 12:23 PM
