Cons: Runs hotFan is loud when turned up

Pros: Very FastCheapScales very well
Comment:
This card is amazing, I am running 2 of these in crossfire and can max out any game except crysis. The Price/ value is amazing, for around $400 you can get 2 of these and max out anything. The only thing that I dont like is the fact that the fan runs at 25% out of the box and when you turn it up it gets really loud.I would buy them again.

Cons: runs hot

Pros: quietnot overly largevery powerful (and as drivers mature, we can expect even better performance)cheap (got it for $170ish with rebate)Amazing performance for the priceSeems to run "Race Driver:GRID" especially wellVisiontek lifetime warranty (you need a copy of the receipt to use the warranty service, so keep the damn receipt!)
Comment:
Simply put, this is an amazing card. Replacing the HD 3870, I've been able to crank up the settings and anti aliasing on all my games. It's especially gratifying when everything feels "smoother". I game at 1280x1024, and the 4850 chews up every game I've thrown at it without so much as a hiccup. Very pleased. The HD 4850 certainly is deserving of it's glowing reputation. The card does run hot, but this doesn't seem to be a problem (Visiontek gives it a lifetime warranty too, so I'm not too worried). I ran it stock for a month, with no problems at all. The fan keeps the card idling at around 79 celsius, and load (Crysis) at around 88-90 celsius. This is in a case with only one 120mm rear exhaust fan, and one power supply exhaust fan (in other words, not uber cooling here). For fun, I decided to fiddle with the fanspeed using RivaTuner (which supports the cards now), and setting low level fan control to "auto", and changing the following settings to:pwm mode: 2duty cycle min: 10T min: 60T max: 90T slope: 46Gives me auto fan speeds (better than the XML fix which gives you only one constant fanspeed), idle temps of 66 celsius and load temps of 80 celsius, and all with no perceptible change in noise. Visiontek gives lifetime warranties. You don't have to register the card to be eligible, just make sure to keep a copy of the original receipt! Don't throw it out! Make a digital copy too, to keep on your computer. As long as you have that, your good to go.

Cons: Only weakness, would be it runs to hot for some user's liking, but it is well within spec.

Pros: Quiet, FAST, Small, and great IQ.
Comment:
I got this card the day they were launched...received it and ran Vantage:P...got 6900. It ran hot, 80c idle, so I did the fan hack to 60% which keep it cold. It needed 100% to keep it at 70c with a voltage boost to 1.2v thou. Got it under a VF900 right now, overclocked to 730/1100 at 63c load =). This card runs every game I've tried at 1680x1050...even Crysis with Jrob's custom CFG. Highly recommended card!

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: Low pricePowerful cardQuiet card even after fan set to 40%
Comment:
Very quiet card, even if I modified the fan speed to run at 40%! Very fast card that can play everything that I throw at it! Great low price for the level of performance that it offers! Lastly, I feel that as drivers mature, that it will probably add some performance to it!Bundle even include a 6-pin PCIE converter for those who do not have it by default on their power supply!Everything is working fine and it was a great first time purchase at NCIX! I'll be sure to buy all my tech stuff at NCIX from now on!

Cons: -Runs hot, need to use a fan fix to get the temperatures lower

Pros: -Great bang for the buck-Single slot saves space
Comment:
I upgraded to this from an X800 and noticed a huge performance difference. I can max out most games at 1680x1050 (except Crysis). It runs hot but that can be fixed using a fan hack, at least until ATI regulates the fan speed with their drivers. Managed to overclock it from 625/993MHz to 690/1160MHz. Right now, the price vs. performance can't be beat.

Cons: Heat issues.

Pros: Single slot. Fast. Price
Comment:
Simply awesome card for $200. I was waiting for the 8800GTs to get cheaper but this card is a lot better so the price difference is justified. Card idles k 77 degrees C but found a fix to turn up the fan speed and now idles at 45 degrees C. I will for few months until price drops some more and will try XFire. Four and a half stars because it runs hot.

Cons: VERY HOT. Load temps around 88c due to single slot design.Gets trounced by the 4870Wish I would've waited

Pros: Very fast, very cheapSingle slot (* also a weakness)Only one pcie 6pin connectorBeats 9800GTX(+)Performs amazingly in DX 10.1 titles like Assasin's CreedCan crossfire with 3850/3870/4870 512 cards
Comment:
What a great card. It beats nVidia's entire 9 series and, in some cases, comes close to the GTX 260. The single slot design is great for people with cramped cases and I must applaud AMD for sticking with one six pin pci-e connector. I must also applaud them for using 2x6pin on the 4870 - thank god we don't need to all update our PSU's just to use a new video card! This card has breathed new life into my system. For $199 I can't be happier. Maybe in a few months I will pickup a Crossfire board and crossfire this with a 4870. Oh yeah you can do that - amazing!Never thought AMD would pull out such a dark horse of a video card. Well done, you've turned a long time nvidia user to the red camp! If it weren't for the heat issues (and therefore low overclockability) this would be 5 stars.

Cons: None at the moment.

Pros: Very powerful. It handles my WUXGA monitor really well
Comment:
I've purchased this vid card for my new gaming rig to run games at WUXGA settings. Although I havent had a lot of games to test, this card has enormous power to run most recent games at high settings. I might get another one to crossfire them.

Cons: A little hot, High power use.

Pros: Very powerful, good price, good bang-per-buck, finally an ATI response.
Comment:
Very powerful card for the costs, includes directx 10.1 support, all around a very good card. Just make sure to get a good enough power supply.

Cons: Weak cooler.

Pros: Fast!CheapGreat in crossfire
Comment:
Simply the best bang for your buck video card, you cannot beat this card. You can get two for crossfire for $400 which will spank the GTX280 for alot less money. The only drag is the weak single slot cooler.I'm in love.
