I have had this mouse for a year now. I make my living with my computer and am extremely picky about the hardware I use. It is very configurable, sensitive and accurate.

I have only had it a short time but so far it works fine and fits my hand nicely.

The mouse worked just fine out of the box. The receiver has a long enough cord so it can be place almost anywhere on the tabletop. Nice response time. No complaints on performance. A bit pricey.

I haven't had this too long, so I can't speak on the battery life. It does take two AA batteries, and says on the box they last up to 8 mos. So power usage wise, it may not be the best. Aside from that, I like where the forward and back buttons are located, everything works very well. It tracks very smooth and is very sensitive. I had to reduce the sensitivity in the settings to accommodate this mouse. There is a manual power button on the bottom, so if you're not going to use it for a day or over night, you can turn the mouse off. Overall, I like it, it's comfortable, and works just the way you think it should.

This is still the best place to purchase PC peripherals but lately over the past few years these electronics have gone way up in cost and way low in quality!! I must have 20 -25 of such items. I never know what I am going to get anymore!! I will tell you this!! 10 years ago I never questioned the products I purchase. All good. Today I never know what I will get anymore!!!!

I thought that I wanted the horizontal scrolling, but now I use the forward and back buttons more.

Excellent mouse. The only thing it doesn't have is a sleep mode. (Wireless mice I've had in the past sometimes will turn off automatically after 5 minutes and turn back on when you click it.) Haven't used it long enough to know if this is going to be a serious consequence for battery life. Otherwise a very good mouse... works great on just about any surface.

I have found this mouse to be superior to others that I have used in the past. It's laser response is fantastic and it's programmable buttons are super. As an IT administrator, I have deployed two of these to my graphics design users and am very happy with their performance.

It is everything I've grown to expect from a Logitech product. Internet is required if you want to download Logitech software as it doesn't come with a CD but it worked quite well right out of the box with Windows drivers. It made for an excellent gift for use with a laptop. I may get one to use with my PC.

An excellent product at a great price. The reaction speed is equal to my old corded mouse, with the added convenience of no cord tangling or adjusting. I am pleased with this purchase.

Everything about the mouse is wonderful. The horizontal scrolling is nice. The mouse is not made for tiny hands like other wireless mice. It is very comfortable unlike other mice that are like carpel tunnel syndrome guaranteed. It works really well and is a cool metallic blue color. BUY IT NOW!!!!!!! Or you will be sad with any other mouse.

Couldn't be happier this mouse is exactly what I was looking for. Having the remote USB rt on my desk instead of on the driver port you get great response time. Never has to be woken up to work. Bought one for my Office Turned around picked one up for the home computer.

I am a big fan of Logitech and this purchase did not disappoint. I just had a problem with a keyboard I bought a couple years ago and Logitech replaced it, even when I told them I did not have proof of purchase! Great company, great customer service and excellent products!

This mouse handles basic mouse operations well. The range is good allowing the transceiver to be placed out of sight.

My MS cordless mouse left button started giving me problems...extremely annoying, so I was advised by an IT friend that Logitech devices are superior to MS. On his recommendation I tried this item. I've had it a month and so far I like it. I haven't installed the Logitech driver to customize the extra buttons and I need to. The button on the right side tends to get pushed by my ring finger and held down. When this happens the other buttons are disabled only as long as the first button is held. I'd be better off to just disable the extra buttons. With all that said, the mouse has a strong signal, tracks well, and I like it a lot. I would buy it again.

I have experience with this mouse and several other logitech products and it is all good - no cons, all pros. The cordless feature of this mouse is 'sweet'. This mouse replaces a six year old PS2 corded logitech optical mouse which is now my back-up.

When I began my search for a new mouse for my new laptop my one absolute necessity was a back button under my thumb. My old logitech optical had one and after 8 years I could not function without that button. After I disabled the forward button, which is very sensitive, I am 100% satisfied with this mouse. The size is a very comfortable fit to my hand. The price was reasonable and shipping was fast. I would highly reccommend this product.

Works wonderfully except the side buttons are too sensitive and the slightest touch seems to activate them if your hands/fingers are too large (or clumsy).

I've purchased 4 of these for my company so far to replace people's old optical mice. They are MUCH more sensitive and usable than what they're replacing!

I bought this mouse to replace my wife's wired mouse. I love this thing. It uses regular AA batteries and I haven't had to change them once since we bought this mouse. When I purchased the LX8 I also purchased the G7 for myself. I have had to swap my battery out to the charger at least 8 times and hers is still going strong.

This is an exceptional mouse. Better then i expected it to be. Pros: Good solid feel, does not feel cheap. The weight is well balanced, the batteries are placed to keep the mouse overall balanced. Works without mousepad or on almost any surface. Comes with a usb extension with a receiver holder so you can place it on your desk neatly. Good grip and comfortable. Great for gaming and photo editing. Precise and smooth tracking. Cons- Annoying back and forward buttons on the side. After downloading Setpoint from logitech I promptly disabled both side buttons making the mouse much more enjoyable to use.
