This is an excellent mouse to use with a netbook or laptop computer. The USB receiver is tiny and can be left in the USB port without any worries of damage to the receiver or port. Battery life is excellent and the power can be turned off to extend the life indefinitely. Best mouse I have ever owned and can be used on any surface.
