Everything about it was excellent, but it was a little to big for me and that isn't really a big problem. Science wins!

Pros: Procision side button

Cons: Styling is arguably worse than its predecessor.Could use more profile storage

Pros: Very comfortableOne of the best placement of thumb buttons I have seen.
Comment:
I have used more than a dozen "gaming" mice and this mouse has been the most comfortable for me. Its 3 thumb buttons are very easy to access and hard make any mistakes in pressing them. The dpi buttons (or programmed to whatever you like) are not as comfortable to press and I rarely use them besides as dpi controls.

Cons: Wish it had the 4 side buttons of the G700s.

Pros: Feels great. Solid build quality. Mouse wheel is amazing. Looks nice and professional (as opposed to Razer mice).
Comment:
I bought the Razer Taipan mouse last month and gave it a serious try. It was slightly more expensive than this mouse and it was lacking a lot of the features this mouse has. I returned the Taipan in favor of this mouse and haven't looked back since. The scroll wheel on this mouse is really convenient, and the DPI indicator is very useful. This mouse is solid, comfortable, and accurate. I have a big hand and this feels like a slightly bigger than average mouse, so I'm really happy with it.

Cons: the braided cable (where it sits on the corner of the table) looks like it might go bad over time. But looks good so far.

Pros: ErgonomicLaserQuality
Comment:
Great product. Feels very good in the hand (palm grip) and it feels/looks durable. The material that is used for the area where the palm rest is very nice. I used the Deathadder before and I can say that my hand does not sweat as much when using this mouse compared to the Deathadder. The material on the side grip of this mouse is also superb. If you're looking to buy a great quality mouse, get one of the best product from one of the best company. Logitech customer service is also great too if you ever come into any problems (not that I have any problems for this particular gear)

Cons: - right-handed only- on-board LED is only 1 colour, so you can't visually determine which profile you are on- braided cable, _again_

Pros: - adjustable weights- adjustable DPI- ergonomic, and good size- "just enough" number of buttons- well built
Comment:
(I received this as a warranty replacement for my G9x, which was suffering from the infamous "cable fray" issue.)This is an excellent mouse for the middle-ground gamer: it has enough buttons to take care of the most common functions you'll need in a game, it has enough features to satisfy most users, and it's built really, really well. The mouse has the tunable weight system, so you can adjust your mouse's weight to fit your preference. Compared to the G9x, it is better implemented here, where the weight is mostly in the centre "mass" of the mouse instead of in the rear. This makes the added weight more even throughout the mouse, rather than making the mouse rear heavy. This makes a huge difference, I think, for people who claw grip their mice (I palm grip, so not so much of a problem). The DPI buttons are in a much better position compared to the G9x, as you don't have to reach far back to increase/decrease. Rather they are in very close proximity to the left button, so it's now second nature to just reach over and hit the +/- buttons. One thing to note is that the DPI LED indicator on this mouse does NOT change colours, unlike the G9x. This is the one feature that I really wish this mouse had, because it helps to let you know if the LGS has loaded the correct profile or not while in game. The thumb buttons are also better placed on this mouse, further forward than previously on the G9x. I don't need to curl up my thumb in order to reach back for them. The added third thumb button is also a great addition, I have my TeamSpeak/Mumble PTT button configured in most of my LGS profiles to that button. Finally, the other downside of this mouse is that it comes again with the braided cable. My last mouse, the G9x, suffered from the well-known braided cable fray. You would think Logitech would have learned by now. Or perhaps they have improved the material and weave of the braid that it shouldn't happen again.Overall, this is possibly the best "Goldilocks" mouse I have ever used. I've used Razers, other Logitechs, Steel Series, and Corsairs. While there are better mice out there, this one seems to hit the sweet spot with "just enough features". It doesn't have eleventy thousand buttons, yet it has more than just 3 buttons that some "gaming" mice have. It's also extremely well built and I believe it will take the abuse that some angry gamers will dish out.I recommend this to anyone who is a gamer from any walk of life - weekend warriors, amateurs, "professional" - that is looking for a good mouse with a good array of features. It won't necessarily break the bank, but it's also not very cheap either. If you're in the market for a mouse, it's definitely worth considering.
