Cons: need to be plugged into a wall socket or power bar, i dont think this is a flaw but others might

Pros: LCD display, way larger then previous models. everything fits just right and is super bright. looks like a lcd monitor-keys feel fantastic and are super quite, im not a fanof mechanical keyboards and this one takes the cake for being the greatest typing experience i have ever had.- every color of the rainbow and possibly more for your keys can be changed through the logitech program syncs with other devices.
Comment:
overall this keyboard is amazing, keys feel great the colors are awesome and of course the lcd display. also the volume control is like the new logitch keyboards with the roller and not the buttons.

Cons: - Quite expensive for a keyboard...even at 150$- Must press hard on screen keys- Not the better keystroke

Pros: - Colors !- Nice screen, multiple plugins...applets- Contained size
Comment:
Had for a couple of days now.Coming from G15, I'm not competely new about G series. This one a little smaller which is nice. The screen is fair i think, it is a nice improvement over G15.Also the G19 do not feel cheap. G15 felt that way...

This is a very good keyboard worth the money but 249.00 is a lot for a kayboard but it is very good size for the desk. This keyboard is way cheaper at otvtechnologies.

Cons: It costs half a weeks pay

Pros: Its a logitech
Comment:
Im a loyal Logitech customer and have been pretty much since they started making this stuff. I have no problem with any of their products. But I will say. You have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND to pay this for a key board. I have a G15 that I have had for 4 years, I've literally smashed the living christ out of it playing COD. Not even joking. I'm talking MONKEY FIST SMASHING. The new G510 is the equivalent of the G15 since they no longer make it. There is no reason. You all bought it for the screen, I'll bet my life. I bet not even one of you have even bothered trying to figure out the Macro ability on it. I use all my macro keys and yeah I could use more. But really? Not for this price, you're all nuts. -love you logitech- ( but you're nuts too ) I give it 5 stars still because it's logitech and I support their products not their pricing. NOTE!!!! NCIX IS selling this for the cheapest I have ever seen it. If you are dead set on buying it...Do it from here. Much better than 250 bucks.

Cons: cost, software still isn't the best

Pros: good screen, nice size, backlit, clicky keys
Comment:
As an upgrade from my 1st gen G15, I was more than happy with this keyboard. It's a little less wide than the G15, which is great for those with a smaller desk, but it still comes with most of the same keys that were on the G15 (half the "G Keys", but I don't use those anyways). Being able to match the backlight colour to my G9 mouse is nice, but actually finding out WHERE to change the colour was a pain (it's in the key bindings software). When it's on sale I would recommend it to anybody, but at $250 I would really think twice about it, that price can get you a lot of other things.

Cons: Priced too high, feels cheaper than G15, the keyboard crashes from time to time.

Pros: LCD Screen comes in handy, backlit keys are nice
Comment:
I had a G15 and loved it, I ended up giving it to someone who needed backlit keys to type which gave me a perfect excuse to get a G19.I'll start with the good, I love the little screen and I honestly use it daily. Its nice to be able to watch movies and tv episodes while gaming or using other software. The YouTube function is great too (when it works properly)The bad, the keyboard feels cheaply made compared to the G15 or other premium Logitech keyboards I've used in the past. The fist one I received had dead pixels on the screen, the second replacement one also had dead pixels but they were in a corner and not as annoying. The program that runs the LCD screen often crashes, and sometimes the entire keyboard crashes causing you to have to unplug it and plug it back in and sometimes restart the computer as well. Also the USB ports on the keyboard will often quit working randomly.I like this keyboard, but its honestly not worth the money.

Cons: none yet

Pros: cool ability to change the colour to any combination you wishthe additional usb ports on the top of the board are handy
Comment:
Ordered it on Sunday night, received it Tuesday. Very well packaged, and it worked perfectly right away. Glad I went with the G19 rather than go for the older versions. Well laid out keyboard, love the ability to change the lights to any colour or turn them off. Using it to write this review and the keys are very responsive.

Overall, this keyboard is nice. Doesn't crash on me since I turn it off (actually disconnect the power) every night. Good keyboard, but would probably purchase a mechanical one over it if needed.

Cons: - Had to RMA my first one becuase some of the keys stopped working properly (instead of getting a letter it would output a bunch of symbols)- The one I got back from the RMA is not detected on startup about every other time. It is very annoying having to reconnect it.

Pros: - Good screen- Buttons feel nice- When you RMA the keyboard you get a brand new one sent back to you not a refurb.- Built in usb 2.0 hub has been quite useful for accessing my blackberry and charging bluetooth headset/mp3 player.
Comment:
Overall I like the keyboard, but having 2 of them with issues is not a good sign especially on a keyboard that came to about $260 with tax. I expect beter for spending that much money.

Before i had the G15 gen2, it was a really good keyboard and i decide to try this one, the keypad feel a lot smoother and quieter a bit like a laptop keyboard, really like the feel, the display have a good resolution, a lot of info on it if your game is supporting this display.Only con is the price, price match can help here

All the features you'd expect and then some. Only downside is if you have a keyboard tray that pulls out from the underside of your desk then the excessive depth of the keyboard might be a problem. All-in-all a great buy for gamers.

As many say it may lack a couple features and is a bit over pricey but this is a huge upgrade for me. I was using 20$ for about 2 years and I have to say this is very nice. I love the LCD display I can tell who comes in and out of vent or see my stats on bfbc2. Also another neat thing about it is you can change the keys to any color you want.

Cons: Navigating files like videos are a pain from the lcd-basically a $60 Keyboard with an LCD attached (but it is worth it)

Pros: Crisp LCD-Interesting Functionality-Macros easier to program then my last gaming keyboard-Great feel from the keypresses-Total bragging rights
Comment:
The LCD is much nicer then I expected and the keys presses fantastic. If they continue to make improvements on the software for this keyboard and it lasts me more then three years, this will be a great purchase considering the cost.

After buying this keyboard, I would not recommend anyone buying it. I believe it is overpriced. I think it should be in the $130 range. It might have been great when it first came out but it does not come with the macros for my new games. Don't get me wrong, this is a sweet keyboard and it works well with the games it does have macros for. Logitech needs to update the software for newer game, then I think it would be worth the price.

Cons: The d-pad for the screen, is very, very stiff..Not many G19 specific aps at all so far... :(Steep price for a keyboard.

Pros: Looks so much nicer then my gen 1 G15.Backlighting for the keyboard is much brighter then my G15.Adjustable color backlighting is actually very cool!Keys feel much "softer" when typing.New screen is very, very sharp!Overall layout, especially media keys, is much improved. The G19 specific aps looks very nice.
Comment:
Well, like i posted in the strengths and weaknesses section, this thing looks great in both the awsome lil screen (though i wish it was wider) and the actual layout of the keys themselves. My G15 gen 1 had a lot of "wasted space" in my opinion, which made the overall footprint huge. The G19 is smaller overall, closer to a regular keyboard. Key presses are softer, and it actually seems easier for me to type on it then my old keyboard that im used to... weird lol.

It's true it lacks many new features compared to its predessor but the LCD provides good use and entertaiment. really confortable to write with thought it takes some time to get used to. A little pricey but definetly is the best gaming keyboard available. I play games while using itunes on the keyboard and when checking performance.

With plenty of macro and speed key functionality and great software useability via the LCD display, I found the G19 a good buy in terms of gaming capability but quite pricey. It definately lived up to my expectations on arrival but keyboards tend to get some serious use in my house so we'll have to see how it holds up. Overall though, I'm quite happy with this buy.
