Let me just say that this kit is fantastic. The trial of Starcraft II is fairly cool, in addition to the awesome packaging. This comes with a DVI->HDMI cable, in addition to other several cables. The glasses are a bit huge, but they're not uncomfortable. Don't bother with the driver CD, just download the most up-to-date drivers and you'll be all set. Another great item from Nvidia. None. In order to use 3D you Should use a Dual Hyperlink DVI cable. This will typically be offered with your 3D monitor, but support for 3D through HDMI 1.four is supposed to be coming sometime quickly.

Uhhh...it has lights on it. And they blink occasionally! Ghosting. You see double images - go appear on the nvidia forums in the 3D Vision section and you'll locate thread immediately after thread talking about really serious ghosting. Why does it take place? LCDs aren't good adequate yet. The nvidia glasses are crappier than the Real3D glasses that have been out longer. The glasses are out of sync with the screen - some thing nvidia has stated they will not fix.Overall, the 3D impact is naseating...my head is still spinning. I ultimately took a hammer to my kit just to get SOME measure of joy from the factor. 3D just isn't there but; as extended as nVidia feels they can shove a sub-par product down everyone's throats, this kit will nonetheless be a horrible investment. Two years soon after men and women starting talking about ghosting and there's no repair; no real sign of urgency from nVidia.

excellent searching still pictures, 3D looks very good 3D does not usually perform as it really should. in games it works, but even on a 570GTX it has a really hard time with continual frame rates. dropping to 30-40 in black ops. with movies, it does not appear to perform suitable, if at all... this is all on a Pc, and a Tv might operate fine, but this tech is still also new. i got the LG 120HZ monitor with this, it, to say the least is awesome. went from an older 72HZ LG LCD 22" to this 1, very very good unit.

It appears wonderful... particularly for games such as metro 2033... it really is like being there... add some good 3d headphones.. and it really will seem like it's real. The depth is wonderful... dust falling slowly down upon your keyboard. I had to make a leap of faith when purchasing this but am I glad I did... I see myself working with these very a lot the subsequent couple of years. If you don't need to have a monitor upgrade or a new video card it could be tough to justify the price. I went with the alienware 23 inch and it is the very best monitor I've ever had. With or devoid of the 3d I'm glad I bought it. I'm a glasses/contact wearer. I was initially afraid that the items would only be usable with contacts but I located they fit fairly comfortably more than my glasses... it is far better with contacts but it's undoubtedly not bad with my glasses.

WoW, about sums it up. I was not too positive if i would like the 3D, now i have seasoned it i don't feel gaming will ever be the similar without it. Crysis 2 plagued with release probs, but looks Great in 3D, the Intro movie for the campaign had the hairs on my neck standing up, it's been a great number of years given that a game had that effect (playing Doom3 in pitch black at 2am possibly)IMHO its the greatest issue in gaming given that accelerated video. Non so far, can't even complain about the price as it just dropped. If you buy this, do your self a favor and download the most up-to-date 3D Vision Driver full Cd from Nvidia driver section. The Install disk is way out of date, and worthless for any one with a 5 series GPU.

Yup, its 3d! Decent too~ Can only watch movies ment for 3d in 3d, same for pictures, it will not upscale for you. Also ahead of you go playin' most of yer games in 3d examine to make certain that it's compatible. Starcraft2 trial is bundled with it however the shadows are nevertheless 2d in game. I thought it was excellent but eventually my eyes couldn't do it anymore. My eyes naturally cross and that knocks out the 3d for me :(

Uncomplicated to setup, lots of advanced features for the technically able, wireless, and 3D Profiles suitable from nVidia. This is amazing 3D and games like World of Warcraft, Torchlight, and Dirt three come alive! It is like hunting via a window into one more world. High priced to buy almost everything. If you currently have a very good nVidia card and a LCD or CRT that can display at 120Hz than this is a no brainer. Those folks getting trouble with ghosting do not know how to calibrate or setup the 3D adequately for their game. Each game that does not have a default profile needs to be setup and this can be to technical for a lot of folks. Games that assistance 3D out of the box like World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2 are flawless. I cannot wait for Diablo 3. I decided to test the different 3D selections out there and then sell anything I didn't like. I tried the edimensional with ATI 5850. Windows 7 help is lacking so I gave up on getting it to perform properly. I then tested an iZ3D monitor and I actually liked the 3D impact. No Direct X 11 Help at this time was a bummer. Also with iZ3D I felt like I had to remain 100% centered on the monitor to get the perfect impact. I like iZ3D a lot and would of stayed with it but then I tried nVidia 3D Vision. They had been so effortless to setup, they worked with my Sony FW900 CRT and my new GeForce 560 Ti. You can do just as considerably tweaking as the iZ3D but if you are new to 3D you can just use the default settings. Also nVidia releases custom 3D Vision Profiles for every game it supports, this makes it even simpler. I recommend buying a couple of 3D Vision supported games to genuinely comprehend the effect.

3D is amazing. The Depth added in games takes gaming to a whole new level. The glasses and IR emitter function fantastic. There are no cons. Unless your still gaming in 2D. If you call oneself a gamer and you don't have 3D but, you are really missing out. I'm using two 570's in sli and I can run every single game in 3D with no problems. If your going for 3D do it correct and get several 570's or 580's and you will be happy. Crysis two is sick in 3D. I play Crysis two multiplayer in 3D and it works wonderful : ) , no crosshair difficulties. I'm just blown away by how cool this is. My eyes get a small strained but that is going away with far more time spent with the glasses on. Also I watched some movies in 3D with this setup and I would have to say that 3D movies are just not worth spending the additional cash for the residence theater setup. Gaming is where it's at for 3D. Movies is just a gimmick. I would rather watch movies on my HD Television that see them in 3D. The 3D is just actually limited in movies. Buying a new tv for 3D would just be a waste in my opinion unless you plan to do some gaming with your PS3 or Xbox. They can only add so much 3D in a movie. No where near what a game can do.
