I bought this webcam for a friend who wanted a decent webcam at a good price. The installation is very easy since it work without drivers (tried it on Vista 32bit and 64bit). It comes with two types of mounts. The mount (the one that is placed on top of a screen) is easily adjustable to accommodate different monitor sizes and angles. The webcam does feel a little cheap structurally but this shouldn't be an issue if you aren't moving the webcam around often.I didn't try out the software; however, it's main feature is to automatically adjust the sound and lighting. I didn't find this necessary for my setup so I didn't install the software. The webcam seems to run at a decent frame rate as long as it does not run in any low light compensation mode. It may be wise to use a table lamp for extra lighting instead of using the low light mode. In addition, the mic works well and seems sensitive enough.Overall, this webcam will please the average Skype, MSN, or other sort of web communication user. I've looked at other webcams at NCIX in this price range and I believe this one is the best webcam under $40 in terms of quality, performance, user friendliness, and value.
