Sound isn't very clear compared to more expensive speakers, or speakers with a subwoofer. I am used to much higher quality sound. You get what you pay for and these will be fine for the untrained ear. |

These are easily the best speakers I've purchased for this price range. They're ridiculously cheap, sound just fine, and best of all, have lasted me about a year with no problems so far. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for non-surround, space saving, budget speakers.Overall, for the price, I've never seen better. |

Bought on sale for $30.Sounds OK at lower volumes, but crank the sound to fill a small 8x8 room and the sound gets tinny and distorts. Ok for Youtube. Sucks for music. Would spend more next time. Not up to Logitech's usual standards. |

I bought these for browsing or listening to music when not in the mood for wearing headphones. For that purpose they are great. The sound quality isn't really good but for what I'm using them and what I had to pay they are fine. |

I purchased these for under $40, and was expecting to get a $30 speaker system. I was pleasantly surprised with how good these sounded, however. I won't say they sound great, because they don't. But I will say that they will sound better than most 80-100 dollar units you can find elsewhere. Recommended as a cheap stereo setup. |

Cons: Big. Requires empty spacing around speakers for good ventilation (manual says that it needs 6 inches). Light buzzing sound when audio is not being outputted to speakers.

Just brought home and tried these speakers. Bought them on sale (with rebate) at $29.99. They only cost $10 more than the Logitech S-150. Other reviewers found that the S-150 can sound tinny but these speakers reproduce sounds very well - clean and crisp with no tinniness. Can hear electric guitars riffing and cymbals clashing (played heavy metal)without it being all-mashed up together like it does on my $8 Genius SP-110. Bass sounds pretty good to me but I'm no audio expert. Light buzzing when no audio is output through the speakers. These speakers are encased solidly in metal and thick plastic casing but the manual still recommends against dropping them. The manual also requires that 6 inches of open space surround the speakers for good ventilation. Plenty of electrical cord to place these speakers with if you have a wide monitor. Cord to electrical outlet is shorter than my monitor's but reaches past my small IKEA computer desk and a filing cabinet. Don't know much about speakers so I'm rating this set a 4/5. |

I purchased these for $21.02 (price match). As 2.0 speakers they do they're job well, good for everyday use and a bit of light music listening. At 5w these aren't going to blow you away, but you shouldn't expect them to.Only thing I dislike is it having no on/off switch and having to turn it on with the volume knob, but this is just personal preference.When I purchased these I was expecting something smaller, lighter & cheaply-made. These actually have a good size and are heavier than they look. Nicely built.If I were to buy a 2.0 I would buy these again, but as a music lover I'll be saving my pennies for a 5.1+ system. |

Nice speakers for the money. The sound is not exceptional, but decent for the price you pay. The headphone jack built into the front of the speaker may seem like a small thing, but having had much more expensive speakers without that feature, it's a welcome addition to these value speakers. |

Very good speakers for the price. Of course, they don't compare to those you can get at a much higher price, but for basic needs, they are perfect.
