Replaced a 12 year old Sony stero two. setup. Setup was uncomplicated and sound is OK. But the subwoofer genuinely add's to the sound high quality. I did have to update my onboard sound chip. Which I feel enhanced the top quality of the sound. I don't know if a sound card would enhance the more than all sound output? The Z523 is NOT a 贄 plus technique. But it was in my value range and had a very good sale price tag. ๆ.99 on e-blast sale. R/L speakers seem to carry a little far more bass then I would like. I gave the Z523 4 egg's since of the R/L speakers. But for ็ program you can't anticipate the sky. This is a great method for a pc setup. I also like the regular 120 plug. No big comverter box to plud into a wall outlet. Excellent cable lenght also. The right speaker controls the on and off power switch and the volume/bass control.

Went up from some tiny small Logitech R-20's that worked properly but wanted to upgrade. These perform excellent the 360 sound is noticeable for me so far as nicely as the bass. My old speakers didn't have manual Bass control so large purpose why I go these. The headphone plug ins are simple to get to as properly as a nifty plug in for MP3 players, and so forth. And also the two extra aux plug in's for Tv/consoles are great! I might not use them but can be extremely really useful in the future. My 1st ones have been DOA (-1 egg) and just emitted a load buzzing noise. Get 2nd pair and they perform wonderfully so far. I want the cables that plug into the speakers had been detachable just for ease of storage and movement. So far the sound they place out is a lot greater then what I had just before. I have but to game on them yet, I will see how that goes though I assume they will work excellent.

Cons: We do not have the set play loud as it distorts sound and crackling will come up.

Pros: Very cheap set with great sound for the price point. Makes a great set to use with a TV, sound is clear and the base is all right but not amazing.
For this price point I'd highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a set to pair with a tv or pc but doesn't need a set of speakers that would play loud or have a lot of base.

An affordable way to turn my mp3 into a little stereo. The good quality is far greater with the subwoofer than some boombox. I'm no audio expert, my hearing is impaired to some extent with tinnitus, but the good quality is fine for the average person's requirements. It doesn't precisely crank up like a bigger, far more pricey technique will (only 40 watts), but so what, the surround sound is crisp and it will deliver lots of sound otherwise.

Review Date: 08/20/13
*some* sounds had been great. It had the capacity to connect the Ipod and headphones off one of the speakers Static out of the right speaker. Not alone, check out a lot of other people with the identical dilemma. The sound is just average. Not confident what to expect but I would definitely not get in touch with it "Hi" fidelity. But what do you want, seriously? The siubwoofer shook a lot. Perhaps they ought to have made it out of a heavier particle board? I took away an older Logitech set that probably sounded greater. The tiny speakers had been far more dense and the subwoofer, while not as major as this a single, sonded virtually as great.

deep bass (kind of) 1.)No treble adjustment on the speakers2.)The bass is to more than powering.three.)The bass is a mid variety frequency that interferes with vocals and high frequency sounds.four.)High frequency sound is not present and causes these speakers to sound muffled. If you know excellent quality sound, you will not be impressed with the Z523 system. Another individual on here stated if you want greater speakers spend a lot more money, but there should be some better selections out there for this price variety (maybe a small a lot more). I have the Altec ATP3 2.1 method on my other pc. They are five+ years old and they still sound better than this program. (I tested them back and forth). Altec doesn't make them anymore, but they're excellent. I am going to RMA the Z523. I enjoy logitech, but I don't assume I'll buy any far more of they're speakers. Some individuals also mentioned if you mess with your sound levels on you're pc you can get them to sound ok, but you shouldn't have to do that.

Effectively built, effortless to put together. Good cables. Speakers are all solidly built and eye-catching hunting. I genuinely like the aux input. I stream music from my telephone into the speakers and have my pc audio at the same time. The sounds is good with the suitable setup. The principal speakers have decent good quality sound as nicely. It's fairly excellent thinking of the value. Sub woofer cross more than is also higher for me. I had to move the sub below my desk simply because the sound image was odd where I 1st had it off to the correct of my desk.

Bass response is good and the set appears excellent. If you don't have a sound card that will allow you to manipulate the treble then general highs will not be acceptable

Review Date: 06/11/13
When I listened to my initially song to test out the speakers I was blown away!! The sound top quality is amazing for speakers at such a low value. I highly recommend these. There is also auxiliary connections in the back if you want to hook up anything else like a xbox. can't really consider of any

Review Date: 06/10/13
3 Inputs - Two 3.5mm, One particular RCA (white/red)Bass control next to volumeGreat bass 蘸 Sound" or whatever doesn't genuinely wow me, but I guess it's a cool notion I'm no audiophile, but these speakers are most likely the ideal bang for your buck you'll uncover

Look at the overiew... quite considerably says it all. 360 sound is a bit of a gimmick. (Just a second speaker in the back of the satellites that bring about the sound to bounce off the walls which in turn creates an illusion of 3d sound) but, it has been useful in the games that i've played (Dead Space 2, Halo Reach). The bass is also desently loud. The auxiliary inputs and the on-speaker controls are the major cause i got it and they do what desires to be completed. All in all this is a fairly good two.1 speaker system. That is, if every little thing works Exactly where do i begin: when i initially got them immediately began playing Dead space 2. and correct from the commence i noticed somthing was off. The sound top quality great but it just sounded off. Thought it may be the 3d sound and just needed to get utilized to it. But when i began playing some music i was obvious. The right speaker was Way louder then then the left. So much so, that i had to set it at 50% to balance them out. I could deal with this on my pc but i can't on my 360. I also HATE the bass! Sure it gets loud, but thats all it can do. That could just be me even though. the proper speaker has a lot more problems also. Popping and crackling sounds, and sometimes cuts off entirely at occasions. The way the right speaker connects to the sub is to blame. Way to meny problems for a ๥ two.1 channel. RMA TIME!!! If u appear at the other testimonials u will see there r meny other folks with the identical challenges i have. i would have provided it only 1 egg, but there is the a chance you can get a set that have no troubles. Fantastic luck

Purchased this setup for my mom immediately after her other Logitech set bit the dust. These have been a best replacement. Good bass and his and lows for a low end set.Got these for fifty dollars on sale from Newegg. Well worth it. None so far. Mom is delighted, so I am happy.

Review Date: 05/25/13
Potent sufficient set. Cables managed to be just lengthy enough for me on a small home theater setup. I was worried the serial cable from the appropriate speaker would not reach across my entertainment center to the sub-woofer, but it just barely did. Audio can sound a tiny muffled or muted. The sub-woofer, despite not getting it's personal channel, is potent adequate, but maybe this is what muddies up the sound coming from the other speakers. Clearly I don't know what I'm talking about, but the bottom line is these speakers will not give you crystal clarity. I'm utilizing this speaker set with a smaller property theater setup on an HTPC. I've applied both the 3.5mm connection and the RCA jacks and both appear to perform fine. I'm no audiophile, so this set is doing the job for me now. In the future I will likely either get the z-5500's or a committed residence theater technique, but I'm just living is a tiny apartment suitable now with a 32" television. This set is holding us more than for a couple of years till we choose to upgrade. Also, I'm one more 1 that got this set for โ on a Black Friday deal. I would not have paid 贄, or in all probability even ๠ for this as Logitech has a greater rated THX certified two.1 method for 贶 or so. It would have been worth it to save up the further cash for these alternatively, I assume.

For the price you can't beat the quality of the sound and their capability to fill the space with highs and lows There is one thing rattling around in the sub-woofer. If I spot it suitable side up something bounces all over the speaker and makes a loud crackling. I have to position the sub-woofer upside down to make the noise go away. Paying ษ to ship these back defeats the whole point of acquiring them in the 1st place. They had been not sent in a suitable container for shipping. They were in the retail box only which did not have any packing material, peanuts, or Styrofoam. It is no wonder that something broke or became dislodged in the sub-woofer. I was genuinely shocked to see how they have been shipped thinking about I normally acquire great service and shipping from Newegg. My wife is furious about the return shipping charge and is going to call Newegg for a refund of the shipping. I don't care passionately sufficient about it to be bothered.

Well the great point with this method is that it's not also high priced and it delivers well. Audio is crystal and the bass is siiick I was essentially surprised at how excellent it performs. My friend was walking up the stairs to our apartment Ɠrd floor) and stated he could hear me from the bottom floor outside and i didn't even have it cranked more than half-way. Properly unfortuntaley the problem was with the bass to becoming with haha. There seems to be an problem with the connection from the subwoofer to the other 2 speakers. It plays fine now, but if i move or accidentally nudge my subwoofer at all it fully distorts the bass to either actually high pitches or practically nothing at all (which could bring about the sub to blow out). Sooooo i have it to exactly where it functions fine and sounds good....i just can't move it or i'll have to invest one more 20 minutes attempting to fix it once again haha i would suggest it due to the fact it's hugely probable that this is just a defect with my specific program....i'm just functioning around it and it's been fine for about 2 months now (cuz i havent moved it) sooooooo ya definietely get it. If you do have a equivalent problem like mine and don't want to perform about it you can often RMA.

bass is wonderful. looks cool. sounds fantastic at low levels. Really fast delivery...really like Newegg. can't raise volume higher than about 50%. the highs are extremely undesirable. just not a fantastic item, from a generally solid organization. quite disappointed. i have some logitech speakers from 2003 and their going back to my Computer.

Review Date: 04/15/13
Incredible sound out of such tiny speakers. Speakers in the back offer excellent depth when placed in front of a wall. Fills the space with sound. Bass is deep and thundering, it genuinely will rattle anything in sight. Worth each and every penny. Bass was turned up a small bit above a quarter and my neighbor came up and told me to turn it down. It's that loud, if that could be a con. I wish I didn't reside in a flat so I could really appreciate these just about every moment I have.

received these terrible boys in the mail. bought them for 50$ from neweggs blackfriday deal, i can inform you these operate wonders! great job logitech. they dont answer the door was thinking about choosing up the logisys 4.1 speakers but i went with these as an alternative and i dont regret it.

Compact Electrical humm, overpowering bass even when turned down. Logitech's tech. assistance is outstanding. These are my second set of Z523's following returning the very first set with an electrical humm. They sent me a new set and they have the similar humm. Sorry Logitech, but you lost me - going back to Bose.

Review Date: 03/28/13
Great bass. Not overpowering, yet anything but weak Bass knob (last speakers owned did not, which sucked) Good clarity Very good price Not room shaking power Could have richer mids 360 degree sound is a gimmick A quite good set of speakers for practically any level of computer use. Possibly not fairly the ideal when entertaining a substantial group of men and women, but if you are sitting at your computer they are lots loud. I am confident getting drivers on the back of the speakers assists. Nonetheless you can certainly tell where the sound is coming from and if you place them behind your monitor quality is decreased.

Review Date: 03/23/13
this is 1 of the ideal speaker systems you can get for a excellent cost like this. none can adjust the bass level in case you just want to have a small bit and have louder music. incredible solution.

Review Date: 03/13/13
Cons: appearance isnt the greatest, the speakers look ok. mids and highs are average if you play to loud the bass over powers the mids and highs

Pros: good base, good price, good quality
good 2.1 system for the price. ncix has gotten my business because there prices have been a good amount cheaper then other retailers
