I've been employing logitech clear pro chat headset and decided to acquire a similar 1 for back up and ended up finding this item. I'm really disappointed with the sound good quality and makes me wonder if possibly there's a defect? My clear chat pro has greater sound top quality that is a lot more clear than this brand new one particular. I can't inform if it's mainly because of the bass, but watching motion pictures and listening to music is a bit irritating talking aren't as clear. It practically tends to make me really feel like there's a hollow echo in the background. Overall disappointed with the sound excellent regardless of what others have put up in their comments. bad sound high quality

I gotta say I really like this headset, it has it's downsides but all in all this factor gets the job accomplished and does so very effectively. The great+Sound adjustments on the headphones: This can seriously come in handy, I utilized to have a headset that I had to run my hand across the cord till I located the volume and mute switch, but this way it is often right there, no second guessing.+EQ Presets: I have to say I never anticipated to essentially use this feature, but it makes a fairly intense distinction and every single preset is very well produced for what you want it to do.+Noise Canceling Headphones: Not significantly to say right here, although my ears don't rest inside these headphones, they nevertheless hold external sounds out Extremely nicely. I have to take them off to hear an individual speaking to me.+Red light on the mic when it's muted: This is a nice tiny feature, I can't say how quite a few times I've just been chatting away in vent just to discover out that my mic had been muted for the final ten minutes. This light lets you know if its mut Time for some of the down sides, and at this price tag you have to anticipate a handful of smaller factors at least.- The head size adjustment isn't the ideal, it stays in location when you have it on, but they seem prepared to loose it's position at any moment. - The material at the leading of the headset that rests on my hair is a bit slippery and these headphones Enjoy to fall off. If you sneeze with these factors on you can kiss em great bye trigger they will fly. All in all, a superb obtain that I would very propose. They emulate surround sound well even though they aren't the new and accurate 5.1 or 7.1 Also the mic can swing up and down which comes in handy.Lastly, its logitech, which is a brand that I seriously trust, they've lasted with ZERO wear more than the final year and the sound quality is wonderful.

Extremely content with the sound quality. I'm not audiophile, so possibly not as picky as some out there, but I think its much more than adequate for your typical user IMO. I no longer get complaints on vent and skype about my voice sounding terrible and becoming really very. I now come by means of loud and clear. And they are pretty conferable a single you break them in a bit. Little tight on my ears when I very first go them but following employing them for a combined time of about 6-8hrs they loosened up so now they fit just correct with out any discomfort. As others have mentioned it would be kinda good if you could have the mic on the left or the proper side as an alternative of only getting it on the left. But thats type of a minor thing for me.

The mic operates, and there have been no issues installing drivers. The worst sound I've ever heard in the sub-贄 range. It clips at medium volume, has so a lot midrange every thing sounds like a terrible metal band. Seriously, the sound is awful. Not incredibly comfy, either. Don't obtain this. Get a "gaming" headset with decent sound.

Cost is a excellent selling point as I wasn't in the market place for a 贶 headset following building/upgrading my rig. I use it mostly for flight simulator and it gets the job done really properly. I locate the audio quality incredibly crisp and clear. They're also incredibly comfy to put on for long durations (even these cross-country flights) with no your ears hurting. None so far, and I don't foresee any problems. Seems to be on par with Logitech's quality from other items I've utilised (keyboard/mouse/speakers/webcam/joystick).

Sound good quality is swell, neat attributes such as a mute indicator LED on the microphone. It doesn't go up to ear blasting decibels, so i can nonetheless hear the apocalypse going on outside.

-Good Worth (Cyber Monday Deals Rock! Thanks Newegg)-Volume and mute buttons on the ear piece are nicely created and handy-Good extended cord -The headset doesn't adjust big enough to fit my head (it's ok I guess, I'm nevertheless making use of them)-While making calls via Google Voice, a number of people have told me that my voice is cutting in and out... If you are looking for a super sweet headset, retain looking. If you have ever owned a Logitech headset prior to, absolutely nothing about this one will surprise you.

- Fantastic sound.- Makes use of regular drivers so no installation needed.- Comfortable for lengthy periods (at least on my ears).- Very good range of volume.- Mute or unmute your mic by basically pressing in correct ear (it's a huge button).- Great Red LED light glows to show that it is muted.- Simple volume manage Up/Down buttons proper on the ear. The USB plug is exactly where some circutry is housed. It's relatively delicate. 1 time, I accidentally ripped it out of the pc -- not straight out of the USB plug, but kinda torqued sideways. IT resulted in me bending the USB connector and breaking open the plastic housing. I managed to solder the severed wires back onto the PCB circuit board and tape the plastic housing closed and it continued to perform. Now, what I do to stop this is use a USB extension cord. That way, if anything gets yanked out, it will be a simple USB cord and not a delicate piece of circuitry. Even if you don't want a extended USB extension cord, do your self a favor and at least purchase a 6-inch 1. I purchased three of these. Prior to that, I purchased several (at least 8 that I can think of off the bat) of the "Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Circumaural Headset", which is listed as "out of stock" at NewEgg.I truly can't tell what the difference is. Look and functionality-wise, each models are exactly the same. I don't know what the difference is or why Logitech changed models. It should be an internal item revision.

Excellent sound and microphone top quality.Functions out of the box on a Mac. none I use this only for VOIP with Google Voice inside Gmail. Functions excellent. Ought to be even much better with Skype due to the ultra-wide-band support. For Mac users, I recommend downloading SoundSource to speedily modify the audio output prior to and soon after a call (easier than undertaking this in the Preferences menu). This way you can leave the headset plugged in at all occasions and nonetheless get sound from the built-in speakers when not creating creating telephone calls.

wonderful sound excellent and quite good microphone, has nice and effortlessly accessible sound controls. Low good quality, broke after a brief time. ive had two of these and they have both broke on me. i just purchased a Creative Headset and I hope it is much better and lasts longer

This is my second set of these. Initial set lasted about 2 years. The sound from these is fairly very good and the presets adjust it to suit your application. What i definitely like about these is they work with vent in windows , or mangler in ubuntu. I tried three other headsets after my 1st set failed just before obtaining these on newegg and none of them worked properly with each apps. My last set ended up with a broken wire inside the cord i feel. that produced the mic intermittent and then lastly didn't function at all unless i help the cord a certain way. From that i would say the cord is the only weak link in an otherwise really very good headset. I believe i'm going to order a couple spare sets for later use in case these get discontinued.

Cons: Not very loud, uncomfortable, bad quality microphone.

Pros: Plug and play, sleek design.
Let me start off saying this head set is not worth $50. A much better one can be found for $30. After a 30 minute session it becomes very uncomfortable on the top of the head, I found I had to keep adjusting it to be comfortable. The mic quality is half decent, it works if you are interested in any kind of chat, but if you are looking for a good quality mic that filters background noise and does not pick up every single breath you take, this is not it. Another thing is the sound quality is not very good. It is decent but not worth the price. It doesn't go loud at all, and the bass is nothing spectacular. Overall my experience was not very good, but it would work should you buy it or own one already. I however am going to purchase a new mic soon.
