Cons: +Long wire curls up all the time, easy to fix though and is not a big problem. Don't worry about it.

Pros: Features of Headset:+Great 7.1 Surround Sound for Gaming+Sound Quality for price is pretty Impressive+Does not hurt ears for a long extensive timeNon-features about headset:+Got it for $55! GET AT THIS PRICE!
Comment:
I am surprised to see 1-3 Stars on this Headset. What do you people expect? This is not meant to be a professional headset for Artists. I feel like this is what you should expect for a $80 Headset and for you people that say the sound sucks, you are absolutely wrong. Now for a very short summary. For the price like i said above is great for a low/medium end GAMING Headset. It has many gaming feature benefits such as 7.1 Surround Sound which is a biggy, clear sounds, etc. I recommend this headset for someone that is looking for a cheap headset. I rate this headset 4.5.

Cons: -Surround sound reduces quality

Pros: -Feels comfortable to wear-Nice cable-Mic is decent-Washable ear piece
Comment:
Surround sound is not that great and requires that you use the included usb adapter, as well as install logitech's gaming software.Sound great without the usb adapter, but then you might as well get the Logitech G230 (which is the same headset except in red and doesn't include the usb adapter).

Cons: Sound quality issues.Poor design.

Pros: Affordable.
Comment:
While the price is right, there's little else to recommend regarding these headphones. After 3 months of ownership, the left cup anchor cracked and the cup detached from the headset, and could not be replaced. The sound on mine periodically dropped out, requiring unplugging and re-plugging the headphones into the USB port. There was also some bleedover when using the analog ports for headphones and mic. When speaking to friends via VOIP, they commented that they could hear games sounds in the background, despite the fact that the headphone volume was not sufficient enough to be heard outside the cups.Needless to say, I will be purchasing from a different company next time.

Cons: Stiff head padLow quality connectors

Pros: Good clear mic7.1 sound works as advertised
Comment:
Mic: Works very well and doesn't pick up a lot of background noise. Sound: Sound quality is good, not great, but good. All the games and videos I watch I've never had problems with bad sound quality. The directional sound seems to work but I honestly don't play very many games where it's that much of a big factor so I can't really say one way or the other.Comfort: The ear cups fit nicely over the ear and haven't caused any discomfort. They block out quite a bit of sound - I can rarely hear when someone is talking to me when I'm playing music or a game. The top head pad is really stiff, though, and digs into the top of my head. It softened up a bit over time, but it's now eight months later and I still once in a while have to re-adjust because the pad is making the top of my head sore.Build: Honestly I'm not a big fan of the plastic used. It feels somewhat flimsy and like I'm going to break it. To its credit though, I've knocked them off my desk and have had them yanked around and nothing has even cracked. The connectors for the mic and sound are on the cheap side, and I sometimes have had to re-plug them or twist them around a bit because I've noticed that the sound seems louder in one ear than the other. The USB dongle works fine and haven't had any problem with it. Same goes for the on-cord mic and volume adjuster, but they do have that cheap flimsy plastic feel. The cord is super long, which can either be a pro or a con depending on your setup. I had to do some cable management because the it would get wrapped around my chair and stuck in the wheels.Summary: All in all these are decent headphones. Most of the issues I listed above are infrequent, or hardly noticeable. Granted, they're not going to wow you, but they get the job done. I wouldn't recommend paying full price for them - I feel like there are better options out there for the same price. But if you are strapped for cash, and these are on sale, I would for sure recommend them as a mid-tier headset for a decent (on sale) price.

Cons: wear out easily. Not durable.

Pros: Very good sound quality. Initially comfortable.
Comment:
I primarily use this headset for playing Starcraft 2. It is very good though I don't like the colour personally. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about the headset but I have had more comfortable headbands.

Cons: The microphone mouth piece doesn't really stay in the position I want it in

Pros: ComfortableGreat sound7.1 Surround Sound is always nice for gamingI love the headphone swivelSurprisingly great microphone qualityReally like the cord type
Comment:
I was really surprised with the overall quality of the product. Probably because I've used cheap headsets in the past and they just weren't that great in microphone or sound quality. This headset is super comfortable, doesn't squish the ears, and has great sound overall. However, the software bugged out on me a few times saying that it couldn't be detected but has only happened once so not really an issue. Really happy with the product.

Cons: Head cushion is uncomfortable

Pros: Good sound quality
Comment:
I will be frank, these headsets are the most uncomfortable headset I have ever worn. The head cushion presses against the top of your head and causes pain. You can endure it for a minute or two, but after that it just becomes too painful to wear. I personally have a large head so that might just be my problem. So if you have a large head like I do, I recommend against buying these headset.

Cons: Not the ground-breaking experience I was hoping for.

Pros: Decent sound, lightweight, attractive, easy to set up.
Comment:
Ok, cons first.I was expecting to be blown away by this headset but not quite. It does have great quality sound and the surround sound works very well but it just didn't inspire awe like I thought it would. Also, even with the volume on all channels up to the highest it isn't very loud. The base could also be a bit stronger, that would help with explosion sound effects and the like. The materials used are also a little cheap feeling and don't inspire confidence when it comes to durability. Time will tell though and the materials used do help to keep it nice and light. The ear cups however don't do a great job at insulating outside noise so if you're in a noisy environment that might degrade the overall experience. But they are soft and comfortable and my ears have remained nice and cool even in the summer heat we're having at the moment.Comfort is relatively good, as I said the headset is nice and light which helps but the ear cups could do with being just a little deeper. As it stands, they push my ears in just a tiny amount which can cause a little discomfort on long play sessions.Sound quality is pretty good, despite the volume issue. Everything comes in nice and crisp, the surround sound does a great job at helping to immerse you further in the gameplay and is accurate and very helpful at times. Furthermore, the ability to adjust each individual channel is a great addition. For instance if you find yourself being stabbed in the back too often in FPS games you can simply turn up the rear channel or turn down the others to compensate. The mic is in a good position and is just the right amount of flexible but picks up my breathing very easily, even when I move it away from my mouth. It also has a decent sound but don't expect studio quality. All in all, its a good quality headset with some great sound and features. It does slightly (very slightly) disappoint in one or two areas but really, for the price you can't go wrong.

Cons: The Top Pad Does Exert Some Pressure

Pros: Flexible Mic BoomLogitech QualityEar Pads are removable to cleanAmple Cord Length
Comment:
Love the flexible boom. The only drawback is the top pad does exert some pressure but after awhile you get use to it.Bought this headset to replace a broken set of Plantronics GameCom 367.This headset is in my opinion far superior to the Plantronics headset I replaced and judging by the build and design should outlast the Plantronics headset.

Cons: My only issue with this headset is the break-in time on the top pad that lies over your scalp. Very stiff at first but breaks in very well. Although that break in aint no bitch, mine took around 50-100 hours to get to the nice density that does not hurt.

Pros: -Boom Mic -Sound Quality -Insanely good cable/wire -washable pads-Included Sound Card -Value is amazing -Logitech........
Comment:
Everything amazing except top pad.Break-in time 50-100 hours. Will definately hurt to wear this headset for anything more than a hour before it has been broken in.

Cons: -mute switch feels a little flimsy, like it may break in future

Pros: -very comfortable-great mic that folds up out of the way-on cord mic mute switch-braided cord-USB soundcard that really improves sound quality (7.1 simulated surround)-Logitech software is really great, especially compared to other companies (ie Steelseries)
Comment:
Really love this headset, the surround is great for gaming. For the price you really can't beat it, and the USB soundcard is very cool.

Cons: USB soundcard is the worst thing ever

Pros: Looks niceLightweightWon't break the bankSounds alright IF you use your own soundcard or a different usb soundcard
Comment:
The usb SOUNDCARD it comes with. It's HORRENDOUS. Seriously. Don't buy these without also buying a new USB soundcard or internal soundcard.I had a pair of Steelseries Siberia V2's that crapped out on me, so I bought a pair of these G430's. The sound was so bad to the point where I couldn't even distinguish certain sounds, and WAY too low volume. On a hunch, I tried connecting these headphones to the Siberia's USB soundcard, and voila! Better sound and higher volume. I'm going to pick up a cheap Xonar or something and maybye it will be even better. This is upsetting that Logitech would release such a horrible usb soundcard with this. Almost unforgivable, I've been loyal to Logitech in the keyboard/mouse department since the beginning, but there's no way they released this not knkowing how bad it was. Shame on you Logitech.I am writing this because I know I would have appreciated to know this before buying, and I'm lucky I had the other soundcard and hunch to try it out.

Cons: Foamy liners feel cheap.

Pros: Not bad for the price. Surround Sound mediocre.Light.
Comment:
I was using Sennheiser HD-555s for gaming, and configured my soundcard to do surround sound.I tried these out for comparison...but found the Senns gave a much better sound overall, and the 3D was on par, if not better. In the end I returned these.I think for a budget system, they are a good buy. Otherwise, they feel cheap and the sound quality is kinda lame.

Cons: Top can get a bit uncomfortable.

Pros: Great sound quality. Surround sound is awesome. Mic is very clear.
Comment:
I bought these headphones for $80.00 with tax to replace a broken pair of turtle beaches I've had for over a year. They are my first pair of 7.1 surround speakers and i am very impressed. My music and games have taken on a new life with these on. Everything is more crisp and i feel as if i am actually in the song. Or the game. The mic is also of great quality. My friends tell me it's a huge improvement over my old headset and my voice comes through very clear. The active noise cancellation also helps. The only con I have with this headset is that the top part resting on my head gets quite uncomfortable and I find myself moving it around every so often. It may just be me though. Other than that I would definitely recommend this headset for anyone looking to go surround sound, or anyone that just needs to try something new.

FeaturesON-CABLE CONTROLS
Keep the mute switch and volume dial close at hand for quick, precise audio adjustments. All attached to an extra long, x-meter cable.

DOLBY HEADPHONE 7.1 SURROUND SOUND
You can hear up to seven discrete channels of audio data plus the low-frequency effects (LFE) channel, known as 7.1 surround sound. Dolby Headphone technology perceptually positions each channel in the correct location to reproduce multi-channel content the way developers intended.

LAY-FLAT EARPIECES
We know even twin gamers are one-of-a-kind. For a personalized fit, the earpieces swivel up to 90 degrees. And because they can turn to lay flat, they're less prone to breakage from everyday wear and tear.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE CLOTH EAR CUPS
Marathon gaming sessions mean heat and sweat. We covered the G430 ear cups with carefully selected sports performance cloth for a comfortable, soft touch even after hours of use. And they slip off easily for washing to keep the headset in top shape.

LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN
The G430 earpieces have been designed to be slimmer and lighter, without skimping on audio quality. A lighter, balanced assembly means you stay focused on the game. You might even forget you're wearing a headset.

FOLDING, NOISE-CANCELLING MIC
When you want to be heard, you will be-loudly and clearly. The noise-cancelling mic can be adjusted to pick up your voice alone. Don't feel like talking? Easily fold it up and out of the way.

FULL-SPEED, ALL-DIGITAL USB
In-game sound isn't an effect. It's a critical component of game play. Our USB headphones surround you with aural information. The sound is crisp and clear, and the jack on your sound card stays open for desktop speakers.
