I bought this thing assuming it would work for windows 7. Sadly it does not, M audio is slacking on making drivers for it. I got the thing so i could use it to connect scratch live with my mixer. I'm sure when it works it does its thing.

If you just need something to record from your midi instrument, this is perfect. I use it in a church setting, so being usb powered cuts back on cord jungles.
