Cons: Crackling, bad shipping, can't use maximum volume.

Pros: Small for a desktop, good looking, and pretty good L&R 2.0 sound quality
Comment:
Had to RMA the 1st time getting these due to the power completely cutting out for no reason. I noticed a crackle before they cut out. When I got them back, due to shipping there was a dent in one of the speaker protectors, and there is still a slight crackle that I notice when listening to poor quality audio that wasn't there before. A bit cheap but does the job. Next time I'll be getting a better quality version.

Cons: A little large for sitting on the desk

Pros: Sound great, solid construction, came with all required cables
Comment:
Went from Logitch Z-560 to these. They don't make my desk jump, but they do sound a lot better. I can hear things in songs I've never heard before.

Cons: Power switch on the back (minor), a bit big (minor).

Pros: Great sound, great looks, and great price.
Comment:
I would like to say I am thoroughly satisfied with these speakers. The sound these pump out is exactly what I was looking for.Right now the volume is not even at 1/4 and it's playing fairly loud for your average user. I can crank it to 1/2 and it's louder than I would ever need to exceed. I've been testing out various songs; techno, opera, metal, classical...These things can pump it all out beautifully.I've heard people don't like the bass but I hear nothing wrong with it. I don't listen to rap though, so I can't say how real heavy bass sounds. As a person who listens to alot of music I would give these speakers 4/5. If the switch was at the front and they weren't quite so big then it would definitely be 5/5. In the sound department, definitely 5/5.Please note I am not an expert at speakers by any means. I'm just your average user who is very impressed. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-13-09 04:37 PM

Cons: Way overrated compared to similar priced products

Pros: Compact, ease of use.
Comment:
I purchased based on previous review information. Compared to the Klipsch 2.1 promedia and the Logitech Z-2300, which I both own, these do not compare at all. Mind you, without the sub I was expecting a shortage on the low end, but expected clarity on the mids and highs to be similar to products above.Product was testing using omega striker 7.1 sound card for output.

Cons: On/Off switch is at the back

Pros: Excellent sound quality, well built, this is quality
Comment:
If you need good 2.0 speakers for your computer, this is the set to get. Awesome sound quality, for this price this is hard to beat. If you need something really small, I'll look at the Creative Gigaworks T20 instead of M-Audio. They are small, but not compact (6inch wide). If size is not an issue, then this is the best 2.0 set to get for the value. Sound quality as good as my Grado headphones.

Cons: power satellite gets really hot in the back

Pros: Nice looking and sounding set of speakersbuild quality is very good
Comment:
Very happy with this set of speakers. They pack quite of bit of punch for their size. Most of all the sound quality is great. I'm not a gamer, i mostly listen to music and watch DVD's, so a 2.0 is quite fine for me; no subwoofer taking up space. My one concern is the power satellite gets really hot in the back, hopefully it won't shorten the set's life.
