I've had a pair of these in my Rig due to the fact April 2005 and even with heavy 24ǝ use, they still are operating powerful (and with out errors). While it is long overdue to upgrade to a bigger and far better setup, I'm coming back for two far more of these Muskin sticks to get another year out of that old mare. Reputable, low latency, fast (for it's day), and will last a lifetime, assuming you get Heat Spreaders to place on them (they do run hot)! Outdated tech generally comes at a premium cost! 2GB of the quickest DDR3 RAM on the industry costs half the price tag of these old sticks! Doesn't include things like Heat Spreaders...a need to have if you want to assure they will final a lifetime (don't forget to order a pair when you order these). Athlon64 3800+, GA-K8N Pro-SLI, 2GB DDR400 (soon to be 4GB), 3TB SATA II Raid five Array, 2x BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC 512MB PCIe two. kept me going for 5+ years...although I did upgrade the Vid Cards in 2007, but it is absolutely time for a new Rig. 2GB more of this RAM and a SSD for my Boot Drive will probably acquire me enough time until I can afford a thing Bleeding Edge now to last me a different half a decade.

No challenge installing. Operates good, so far as I can tell. Nada. Except, why is memory so expensive? I don't benchmark, but it seems to have improved the speed of XP startup considerably.

Amazing service....had my memory in just two days with common shipping. Even though your configurator did not list Mushkin as one particular of the possibilities for my 3 year old Gateway, the specs were proper, so I ordered it. My method had no troubles recognizing the new memory. Sure brought new life to my old rig. I will absolutely order from Newegg once again ! none

Needed an upgrade for my mother's pc. Threw it in and the system has been running smooth with no challenges. None. I had issues with Mushkin RAM in 2002 and swore them off. Over the previous couple of years I decided to test the waters and attempt Mushkin once more and I'm glad I did. Various of my rigs are now operating beautifully on Mushkin and I now practically exclusively purchase Mushkin RAM for everything.

- Inexpensive for a 2x1GB pack and it's even Mushkin. - One particular stick was DOA.- Right after I ordered it Newegg removed the RAM from their web site...Wierd. I figured I was protected purchasing Mushkin but apparently not, all affordable RAM is made equal. I returned to Newegg below RMA and ordered some slightly a lot more pricey G.Talent instead.

Fairly inexpensive. Memory caused all sorts of windows errors upon installation. PFN list corrupt blue screens etc. in a Dell Dimension 3000. Replaced with 2GB of PQI memory and no issues. Haven't bothered to figure out if a single or both 1GB sticks are undesirable at this point. Sucks for my client due to the fact I had to come out twice for what should have been a painless memory upgrade. :(

Mushkin memory is the only memory I have utilized for the final 14 years...25 builds, a lot of upgrades, some systems overclocked. Not one particular hiccup and thats good when you make for other people. I don't know about Mushkins client service because I have by no means applied it. none

runs smoooooooooth :) none I upgraded my Dual two.0GHz PowerPC G5's memory to 4GB (the max for this older version G5) with the Muskin Green Dual Pack and saved a lot of dollars. Thanks NewEgg!

Essential for a DDR project Nevertheless a small pricey for 2GB Superior get them before they are no longer obtainable. Then you'll have to acquire them applied on eb - and for a lot more money.

This Ram is o.k priced for what you get. Plus you get Mushkin Client Assistance connected with it. It plugged in with no problems and booted suitable up, no abnormal beeps connected with DOA's... FLAWLESS! Excellent job newegg, Mushkin! P.S Good Packaging!! Despite the fact that this can't truly be a con, This Ram has been out for a long time.. I feel there really should be rebates by now linked with DDR 400.... ought to run about 30-40 dollars a stick... Just my opinion.. But other than that, NO COMPLAINTS!

StraightforwardQuite useful!!೸% the cost of a new computer Exactly where's the rebate and how do I track it? This memory was installed on a 6 year old Dell and replaced 256M. The computer would barely start off and was brutally slow with the original memory. The new memory created it the fastest pc in the house with an investment of ๠ and five minutes of time.

Memory performs well. Mushkin always does. Good price. None At times Mushkin memory can be auto detected by your motherboard at the wrong timings. This demands some manual BIOS adjustments to fix. This is a minor inconvenience for the efficiency that Mushkin Enhanced sticks deliver.

This memory works nicely when you get two very good sticks. One stick of the pair was not recognized in my HP Presario. I contacted newegg by telephone, and they did a excellent job of sending me yet another pair and helping me return the negative pair.
