Ok This memory is extremely reasonable and can be overclocked in my AMD MB program just not too considerably. At present I am pushing this memory to 1400 something, I have 4 sticks which total eight GB and I have a 600 Watt Energy supply. A single of the sticks was DOA when arrived and it took a lengthy time to RMA due to ground shipping. If I had to do all over again I possibly would go with ddr3 1600 memory due to the fact it is quicker with more rapidly cas latency. Mushkin is an American Company with German specifications. It's a fantastic firm and I adore their Memory! Good heat sinks and the memory stays comparatively cool in my case. When I upgrade it will almost certainly be Mushkin again for me only next time It will be DDR3 1600.

Affordable, has heatsinks, performs like a charm, at least on my Gigabyte motherboards. Rebate not instant? Good spending budget ram, I get it for the price and the heatsinks. I have 8 gigs of this very same ram ƔGBx2) in my gaming program, I got this 2gbx2 set for my wife's net surfer/media center/graduate paper writing machine and got the exact same fantastic final results. Yeah I could get quicker ram but this Mushkin stuff is an awesome bang for the buck and I'm not searching to set the globe on fire. Not certain about incompatability on Intel's boards that a preceding reviewer had considering that I only use AMD. Ram might have been glitchy, it occurs and not a reason to never use a corporation again.

Solid ram. 4 eggs due to the fact aggressive timing is no issue and Win7 is snappy. Won't run at 1333. Four eggs because it won't run at stock speed. I've attempted this ram in an Intel DP55WB and Gigabyte P55-USB3 with Win7 Pro with identical results. At 1333, Win7 crashes even though the logo is loading regardless of the timing settings. Four sticks result in a BSOD regardless of speed and timing settings. Currently operating two sticks at 1066 and 7 7 7 18 employing the Gigabyte board and F8 BIOS with no issues. Every little thing reads effectively in Auto settings on my Asus. Passes memtest, and so forth with flying colors. No troubles so far. None, but text is needed right here. Seems to be exactly as advertised. I am employed to having annoying troubles with settings not reading right, and it was nice to have "auto" perform for a changed. Go mushkin!

Pros: Price for the size of memoryPerforms well

Mushkin has been my favorite memory brand since I started building computers for myself, family and friends. They usually provide the most inexpensive size and speed for the price. All of the Mushkin memory that I have bought is still in use in the PCs I've built them for. I have never had any problems at all with their memory.

- Runs well at the rated specs. - None Hey, it operates, not substantially else to say. No size problems in contrast to some modules with odd heatsink designs. Haven't tried to get it to run at various clock speeds/timings than the rated specs.

Less costly than competitors, but why bother when would not perform. Creating w7 64 bit Intel DQ57TM/i5-650 machines. Utilizing identical boards and processors, 4 memory sticks in 1,two,3 & four stick configs, several new boards, power supplies and CPUs. Just about every a single showed frequent unexplained crashes (no BSOD or event log entries), memory tested ok with hours of memtest. Intel engineers blamed memory. No way to make feasible settings changes on these motherboards, according to Intel assistance. At least we attempted. Expense savings negated by wasted time. Opened ticket with Mushkin, they did not get back to us in time to make our schedule. Only when they did get back to us did they provide us with a telephone make contact with quantity. As well little as well late.

Sleek and attractive heat spreaders devoid of the garish tentacles. Low profile. Promptly and appropriately detected by motherboard despite not becoming on the QVL. Ordered two sets and all four had no challenges. It'd be nice if the item quantity stickers were simple to get rid of from the heat spreaders.

I purchased 3 sets of these modules at an extremely low value. They have worked properly within their rated specifications. So far, 2 out of three sets have had difficulty with the heatsinks falling off. Considering that the RAM is single sided and the heatsinks are falling off the PCB side (not the chip side) I don't believe it will influence the performance or cause it to overheat. The value was correct and the heatsink difficulty is not worth the trouble of RMA. It's far more of an aesthetic difficulty than a functionality problem. Mushkin desires to examine the adhesive tape utilised to attach the heatsink to the PCB side of these modules. Manufacturer Response:Greetings, Please speak to me at nick@mushkin.com. We would like to try and track down the lot these modules came from an see if we can get this resolved. Thanks!

Cons: its not a cookie!

Pros: I am good with the machined look of the heat spreaders, nice touch for such low cost ram!

paid almost nothing for this ram, used for a friends build with a $700.0 limit this is good enough to hold him over till he has more cash. I'm also happy with the low use of packaging, environment ftw. same can be said with how NCIX likes to fill empty space in shipping boxes. good on you guys.still not a cookie though and I want a cookie...

None - Original order and RMA'd sticks problematic. Constant freezing of my technique - I even submitted my motherboard for warranty replacement immediately after receiving the replacement stick thinking there's no way I'd receive 2 sets of negative memory. Not so - got the replacement motherboard which took extended adequate that I can't even return these worthless sticks of RAM now due to the fact it's previous the 30 day cut-off point ( 4ቺ ). So now I'm out the funds for this and can\'t even return these for replacement or reimbursement. Actually not content with Mushkin at this point - almost certainly will not purchase once again. If matching timing/voltage sticks can't even operate together from Mushkin there's difficulties.

applied these in a non gaming construct for a friend and they worked ideal outa the box and he has had no concerns with them. Given that the machine i employed them on was not a high overall performance machine i did not do any tests or benchmarks on them but they have been stable and extremely quick for him. none

Worked fine out of the box on the custom construct for our downstairs computer system. The RAM I ordered was DDR3 1333. The RAM I got was DDR3 1066. Woops. Will be traveling soon and don't have sufficient time to do a return and wait for the right RAM. Luckily I don't think any individual in my loved ones will discover the distinction, because the downstairs personal computer isn't applied for heavy gaming or otherwise. Manufacturer Response:Greetings! Based on your CPU, this RAM might boot at 1066 on initial POST. Simply enter your BIOS and switch to 1333 and you really should be good to go! Affordable cost, great operating at 1066MHz probably not working well at 1333MHz Initially I have issues with the popular "Random freezing at Windows 7 64bit" problem. I use the combo product motherboard "ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO" and have the freezing challenge with all mother board auto setting. Right after searching on-line I found that I have to set the memory frequency manually in BIOS, put it at 533MHz (meaning 1066 for DDR). Also I set the 9-9-9-24 latency. Then it operates fine. When I set it to 667MHz, it freezes once more. I am not specifically certain what's happening but right here is the way I solve it, losing some speed.

Good price, excellent memory when it functions. Had three buyers have this memory fail on them out of a dozen or so builds. It's been a pleasure performing company with Mushkin, but I am now accomplished with them. As a builder, my reputation is as good as the components I use...I cannot afford to have a 25% failure rate.
