* heat spreader* low latency* newegg rebate* operates fantastic in my gigabyte p55 microatx board at 1600 with timings as specified on the sticks and with more packaging note. * timings not also printed on packaging. very good factor I took some unboxing photographs.* came with intriguing warning slip of paper regarding custom setting of tRTP (read to pre instances) when clocking for 1600 speeds. good issue, mainly because I purchased it for running at 1600 with low cas latency. Perhaps the added info really should be a pro, but most memory doesn't come with a manual. Text of warning slip of paper reads:When setting the BIOS for 1600 speeds with this memory, please manually set the tRTP (A.K.A. Read to PRE Time worth) in the memory timings section to six (for Gigabyte, EVGA, and most other motherboards) or eight (for ASUS motherboards). When overclocking this memory, please steer clear of tRTP values of 7 and eight (for Gigabyte, EVGA, and most other motherboards) or 9 and 10 (for ASUS motherboards). tRTP values greater than the keep away from values will function adequately. |

Runs 1800 mhz with 7 9 7 24 timings @ 1.65v on my GA-P55A-UD3 motherboard with no hiccups. Win overall performance rating for mem 7.7 @ 1800 and 7.five @ 1600. Can' tell if I'm running in Dual Channel mode. Not reported at post or in CPU-Z. CONTACTED Both MUSHKIN AND GIGABYTE NO RESPONSE SO FAR Get's five stars if I resolve the Dual Channel Concern. |

Good timings at rated speed and price. With a distinct memory kit I was unable to hit 1600MHz on my Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P with a Phenom II X4 955. With this kit I was capable to hit the rated 1600MHz and tighten the timings down to 7-eight-7-20 1T on stock volts. This is with out a doubt one of the finest DDR3 1600 kits in it's price tag range. At this point... none. When installing, make certain you push down on the metal clips. I am applied to pushing down on the ends and when I did so, the heat spreader shifted on a single of the sticks. Was in a position to slide it back into spot without having any difficulties and it had no have an effect on on the functionality of the RAM. |

Incredibly resilient and handles tight timings nicely. Put it in my Asus M4a89td pro, defaulted to 9 9 9 24 at 1333 but with a handful of bios adjustments it ran fine slightly OC'd with advertised timings. I have had certainly no difficulties with this ram so far and have but to push it to its limits. None truly unless I count possessing to modify timings and clock in the bios. on mushkins site it says optimized for intel or what ever so I anticipated this. If you are seeking for 4gb of ram with lower timings than the typical 9 9 9 you can't go wrong with these. |

Lots Little On my earlier critique I had troubles finding this ram to run at the specified specs on an AMD AM3 board, but following I found out about the Mushkin forums, I couldn't be happier.The guys over at the Mushkin forums are geniuses. Relatively helpful also. I found out that on my AMD board, I required to OC the FSB as an alternative of altering the DRAM ratio to get the RAM to run at 1600MHz and cas7. Soon after I was told this, I started OCing this RAM and boy this stuff is great. It appears fantastic, feels solid, and runs fantastic. Couldn't ask for much more. |

Fantastic ram overall. Two sets of this ram Ɣ four total sticks) are unstable at specified timings and voltage on an Asus M4A79XTD EVO with a x4 955. A single pair will run stable at specified timings and voltage and four sticks will run steady at 8-9-eight-24 T1 with stock voltage. When pressing the ram into a socket the heatsynk can move about. I had to use the back of a pen on each and every finish of each stick to get the clips to snap. |

SpeedCost none This is some amazing memory and for a very excellent cost. A quick trip to the BIOS and they run and said timings and voltage. Windows prices it at 7.5 and it runs smooth in my Crosshair IV Formula mobo. Don't waste your dollars on costly RAM since I guarantee it will not out perform these sticks. Nice to have an awesome solution produced in the USA at a fantastic price tag. |

Agree entirely with a previous thread's statement, "Designed for P55 boards? Are there Intel fairies hiding under the sleek black heat spreaders? Seems fine in AMD systems even if not expressly made for them." - appears to run great @ far better than stock timings with AMD systems...This ram looks wonderful, runs great, and can OC fairly nicely. At present running 1600MHz @ 7-eight-7-20 1.65V with no problems. I will update more than time, but I feel this American made and owned firm has got me hooked! Ram simply runs at advertised speeds with adjustments in bios. Can also be run at several other timings if your technique is picky-- see other thoughts. Existing value! Low heat heat sinks enable for much more cpu cooler flexibility. Mushkin good quality. Support forums are quite informative and useful. No cons thus far for this ram but my motherboard would not run it at stated speeds just before a bios update. see beneath At the moment operating at 7 9 7 24 1T at 1.6v on my gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 with F2 bios. This has passes memtest run overnight with no erroes. I could NOT run something beneath cas 8 at 1333 or 1600 with shipped bios which was the initial release of F1. Once I updated bios which btw is cake with gigabyte boards all was go. Price tag, Newegg payed shipping to have it returned. This did not let windows to boot with my motherboard. On Mushkin's internet site it particularly says *This product is engineered for LGA1156 Motherboards...practically nothing about AMD AM3 chipset boards... It is deceiving that Newegg's web site says that it will perform with AM3 MB's. If you care to press your luck with a diverse AMD board go head. I employed a buddies OCZ3G1600LV4GK to boot this new make up & they have been the greatest performing sticks yet! None. Have tested 4 sets and all sets have made lock-ups. I purchased 5 sets to develop some computer systems at function and have some spares lying around. Built one pc a year ago and the user stated just about every-time he wanted to play a wav file, the technique would lock up. We attempted modifying drivers, and so forth and to no luck. For about a year he has knowledgeable random lock-ups. I gave him a different set and the exact same. I built one more personal computer final week and each time I would run verify disk, the personal computer would lock-up. I assumed it was the tough drive, so I place an additional 1 in, then yet another...to no avail. I tried a different CPU and motherboard, still much more lock ups..one more set of this memory and the identical. Often when going to video card manage panel - you guessed it...lock-up.I place a competitors memory and just like that anything worked. So I place a competitors set in the other customers pc and he is now playing wav files with no lock ups.Wonderful how poor this memory is. |

Operates no dilemma in a P55 motherboard with a Xeon X3440! Presently operating at 1608mhz @ 7-9-7-24, with the above talked about Xeon 3440 @ 3.8Ghz鴉x19). All sets of Mushkin ram that i have had before had huge overclocking prospective.
