Comment:
This is one of the best 15'' gaming laptop you can get for your money. It scores 9000+ in 3DMark Vantage without any overheating. The LEDs around, overclocking and cooling functions are welcomed additions and can be really useful. The fan does get loud when maxed out but it's reasonable for a gaming laptop. The screen resolution could be higher (1366x768 or something like that). Normally I would expect a 1680x1050 on a high-end quality laptop but for the price, it meets my expectations. One thing I like about companies like Asus or MSI is their small bundled utilities they include to tweek the system, like power management, webcam utility, and stuff like that. It's actually really useful when it works. However, one minor drawback on this laptop is that the LED manager didn't work on first start (LEDs didn't turn on). After reinstalling everything from the recovery partition, everything went fine.Overall this laptop has a great value for the performance it gives you. If you are looking for a gaming laptop (expect it to be heavy and have a not-so-good battery life), I highly recommend this laptop if you don't want to spend over 1k.

Cons: Keyboard is kinda "soft", it curves a little when you press on the keys. But then again, I use a G15 alongside with it. So I don't really care that much.

Pros: PerformancePriceDesign
Comment:
Great performance for a very decent price. Doesn't come loaded with a ton of crapware. Design is very stylish.Runs Rift and WoW at full settings and get an average of 30 fps.

Cons: Screen is average at best, styling is a little over the top

Pros: Speakers, Graphics Card, Value for money, cooling
Comment:
The GX660 is an excellent value for money. The HD5870 Mobile is a very capable graphics card, playing all current games at high or ultra settings. The speakers are exceptional, better than any notebook speakers I have heard before. I like the resolution, a higher resolution would make things very small on the 15.6 inch screen. The cooling fan is huge for a 15 inch laptop,I don't think overheating is going to be an issue. It does not come with a second hard drive bracket, so even though it has 2 HD bays you will have to buy a second bracket to install a 2nd HD (best I can find is $30 for the bracket). The look is a little over the top, but what do you expect from a gaming notebook. Thank God you can turn off the LED lights. The default Windows install is not full of bloat-ware, which is a nice change from the typical name brand notebooks. Overall I am very happy with the computer.
