It spins quietly and blows air in or out, whichever you're utilizing it for. Sure it may not be fancy but its a quality product and performs fantastic if you don't want any high velocity loud fans. none. it functions as it must

Blows alot of air. I also thought it was Blue LED since I didn't study into it too a lot. It is UV reactive, fascinating, every thing is glowing blue in my computer other than this, but it nonetheless seems like it is glowing blue anyway. Nothing at all. Good for the price!

Comment:
moves a lot of air, is affordable quiet at 7-ten V, and is truly loud at 12V. four fans in case at low speed hold every little thing really cool. UV lights them up genuinely excellent. Yeah, dumb me didn't study any reviews and so I didn't get LED fan like it believed I would. Ordered new ones with LEDs. UV + LED appears very best.

The fan has been working for far more than a year with no breaking or producing any noticeable noise. I've observed numerous fans get noisy over time, but this tiny blue wonder is carrying out its job completely. None!

These are quiet for the amount of air they move. I didn't comprehend that these have been 4pin molex, because most fans come 3pin with an adapter. I purchased a fan controller, but it only performs with 3pin fans. I'm going to see if I can reduce it, and repair it up so it works. Make confident if you are utilizing these with a fan controller, that the fan controller functions for 4pin molex fans. Intel Pentium four 3.0ghz w/HT, Antec Nine Hundred Case, 2GB DDR2 800mhz, GeForce 8800GT 512mb 256-bit, 200GB Barracuda. 6 Case fans ƕx120mm, 1x200mm) Tri-Cool for Proc 鲸mm)

APEVIA (ASPIRE) CF12S-UBL Blue Case Fan
Comment:
affordable, no annoying LED's, pretty quiet screw holes not pre-threaded, integrated screws are inexpensive Neither of the two cons i pointed out, by themselves, are specifically terrible, but in conjunction, they can make factors rather difficult. As the holes are not pre-threaded, you have to put a fantastic bit of strength into driving screws in to secure the fan. On one particular hand, this provides you a nice snug fit. On the other, as cheap as the screws are, you'll be lucky to get them in before stripping the screws. Hope you get it proper the 1st time, due to the fact if you need to switch a fan from exhaust to intake or vice versa, you may well finish up with then fan stuck, unable to eliminate the screw

Moves lots of air, keeps the noise on the down-low. Inexpensive, sturdy, has an adapter with each male and female connectors. Can't be beat for the value. Get a blacklight :) Clearly says it does not come with LEDs. Don't buy if you want them.

Comment:
Quite strong UV-reactive glow, appears to move a fairly substantial amount of air (though my opinion is far from professional on this matter), and isn't as well loud in my environment. It's possibly nonetheless a little noisy for men and women who are obsessed with silence... On the other hand, if you're operating in an environment with a substantial source of ambient sound (some A/C installations can get noisy... An office in general would also fit the bill), you possibly aren't going to notice it. I'm a tiny sad that this didn't come with the 3-pin adapter to run this to your motherboard for potential computer software-primarily based controlling. For many, 120mm is going to be your most significant fan, and consequently is likely to be the the fan that you most want to adjust the speed on. Oh properly, I just stole one of the adapters from a different fan, not that huge a deal. Nonetheless would've rather paid an additional buck or two to have it included with this, though. UV-reactive is *not* equal to LED... In order for this item to be worth your even though, you need to program on also obtaining a source of UV light (generally cathode tubes). It's almost certainly not that a terrible a deal even if you never ever utilize this function, but the UV-reactivity is what tends to make this a good solution for the value variety Newegg is selling it for.

Comment:
I place it on the back blowing in, but I could modify it about and see if temps are better that way, led's match teh colour scheme of an aspire x-gear case, it was inexpensive, well worth it, huge, and it's not as loud as my cpu fan so I can't hear it. Well, I opened this infant up (it came in bubble wrap, not a box) and I couldn't uncover any screws. I looked through the box and all that and was considering they jipped me, but then, there comes my 5 year old nephew with a tiny baggy and I ask him exactly where he got them and he stated "I took them from the box" ..... So, umm yeah, no cons spend a petty 5 dollars and maintain your program cool baby!

Not actually certain.. Does move some air. Fan does not move a lot air at all. It does perform, just not very powerful for this size. No way to spin up the fan. Operating speed fan it spins around 1250rpms. @ one hundred%. Not confident how some individuals got theirs up to the advertised loud but effective 1700.

Moves a lot of air, wonderful color if UV reaches it. Certainly not bright. The Green version is significantly significantly brighter, but is additional money. If you get this and want a nice look, make sure you have a UV above and under it within an inch from best/bottom.

Low-cost. Didn't last me a year. It began to slow down and make a grinding noise spinning at like 50 RPM unless I hit it or press the middle of it. You get what you pay for. It's rapidly, but they don't final very long.
