Comment:
Wonderful case for my initial make. Incorporated 500w PSU. Simple slide out motherboard tray. Fans are quiet. Sharp hunting case. Effortless slide out HDD tray. Reset button pushed via front panel 1st day (easy to fix). I wish the power provide was modular (nit picking). The cables can get in the way (buy hey, nobody's searching in side this one) I purchased this case for my very first build (to replace my wife's aging pc). She loves the look of the case, and appreciates how quiet it is (wish our DVD burner was as quiet). I'd definately obtain this case again.

Compact and held all the components without having craming them in. Front panel temp display was nice. Power supply failed on the original case soon after 6 hours of use. RMA'd the case and received one more one particular. PSU failed on the second a single following 10 hours. I would believe a 500W PSU could handle the components I employed. Develop listed below. 100% failure price is sad. Newegg handled the situation great. I place all the parts in my old case with a 430W thermaltake PSU and it has run great for 3 days and I expect it will continue just fine. I wish I could have just RMA'd the PSU and not had to take all the elements out and then develop it all over again only to have another failure. This is a compact case that would match my desires extremely properly if I could get it without the PSU and then put in a PSU that would hold up rather than the stock PSU that came with it. appeared to be packaged nicely.... got the case for my new c2q method after owning and creating various other apevia qpack systems and opened to locate the key support beam crushed. there was no damage to the outside of the case or the back so i'm guessing this occurred just before it was sent to newegg. would be good if newegg would cross ship a replacement given that I now have to wait past the 7 day return policy for my CPU to install and test my new technique

The case itself is great! Would make for a actual good HTPC The energy supply is worthless for todays mATX boards exactly where most take a P8 connector for CPU power. Apart from for it getting also low if you program on building a high finish method. Superior off either supplying it with no the energy supply or supplying it with a greater power provide. But you could use the current power provide offered as a decent paper weight.

I live at with my mom but head to my dad's on the weekends. I do a lot of CAD, 3D Modeling for school and I like to play games. This case is seriously good and easy to transport. It does match the nVidia 8800 GTS video card with enough area for 1-2 other PCI cards. It does have fantastic air flow (I'm constantly cleaning the from two grids simply because of dust). I don't have also several cons but, the cover is indeed a discomfort to get back on, I did have a spring come loose from the handle but it nonetheless works just fine. I would recommend SATA. I have 2 CD drives running the ribbon cables. I had to cut some of the aluminum to make the cables match. Also, the though the PSU is great (running 2 HDDs, 2 Optical Drives and my 8800) the wiring is genuinely cramped in between my CD-Rom and PSU. The default Temp readings are in C, I had to take the front plate off (Some what a pain). I noticed that the springs look a tiny wide for the bar and washers, if you have any smaller sized diameter springs you might want to replace them. The fans are excellent and aid maintain the method cool, only want they presented three Pin fans to connect to my board.

For a small case, it is so easy to perform with. Tray for the MB slides out the back to make for a extremely straightforward set up and the HD mount comes out too. I had almost everything installed in under a couple hours and it operates fantastic. The hardest part of the install was fishing cables about once all the pieces were in location. I adore the separate HD and CPU temp readings and almost everything is so quiet. PSU is plenty to deal with everything I need to have. This won't be my major rig, but it has a permanent property subsequent to my Tv for Blu-Ray, online, and emulators. None. It's tiny. That's the purpose you are buying it. If you are like me, a window is just going to show the jumble of cables inside. I was on the fence about obtaining this or the one with the window. Glad I bought this one rather. Now I just want the new Television I ordered to arrive so I can finish tweaking my setup.

The case is light and very straightforward to operate in--- the hard drives mount conveniently, generating them simple to remove or replace, as are the two front-accessible five.25" bays and the three.five" bay. The 500w psu, even though not spectacular, has no difficulty handling my WD Raptor and WD 750 gig difficult drives in addition to the X-Fi and GeForce 8800gtx. Mounting the motherboard is a breeze and even though the removable aluminum tray flexes very easily I wouldn't characterize it as flimsy. Not many negatives... to match my 8800gtx I had to dremel out a piece of the reduced five.25" bay given that the power connectors are on the edge of the card and stick up a bit also high. It was a non-concern for me as I only put 1 optical drive into the method anyhow. A additional regular video card wouldn't have any clearance difficulties. I replaced the 120mm fan with a variable-speed Antec fan which is quieter. A really outstanding case for the money. I liked it so considerably I got a second one particular for the living space HTPC. That computer system requirements two optical drives, but as I don't have an 8800gtx card for it, no worries :-) A buddy desires me to make her daughter a computer system with this case, so next up is a pink one festooned with Hannah Montana stickers! When she outgrows it in two weeks I trust she will be appropriately mortified. Manufacturer Response:Have fun building that Hannah Mo case! :Dhelp@apevia.com

Right out of the box this case is a let down. Even so, as soon as we began placing it collectively it began to take shape and was considerably greater. Practically nothing to scream about and, in our opinion, a bit overpriced, but it all worked. Almost certainly wouldn't purchase an additional 1. On the vibrant side, the consumer who purchased it seems to enjoy it.

Very good size, relatively quiet, nice layout. The aluminum enclosure is very filmsy and difficult to put on. My case came with a poor LCD. The CPU aspect works but the HDD does not. Apevia's RMA policy calls for that I return the negative LCD at my expense even although I sent them a image of the partially functioning unit. Rather than go via that method, I attempted just to obtain the element from Apevia. They are out of stock and told me to get in touch with back in a month. Yikes!

Good size case, sits on top rated of the subwoofer completely. Sheet metal is thin but when everything it tied collectively it's sturdy. Light weight, good looks, things stay cool inside, tends to make a good HTPC. Was capable to preserve cables out of the way. If you use it for what it was designed for you won't have a issue. Yes the Motherboard tray is thin but usable. Why does everyone insist on using such vibrant LED's? practically nothing a resistor or piece of smoked plastic can't take care of. Good seeking case, not too undesirable to get into. I too, have the static shock reset challenge. I haven't gone to the problems to mod a ground from the metal faceplate to the case. I just touch the side of the case to discharge before I touch the front. Make certain you have some length on your SATA cables, I had to swap some about till anything reached.

Nice, compact form issue -- fits exactly where other folks won't. Two temperature gauges included. Pleasing styling -- it doesn't look like it was designed by a 13 year old. Even my wife likes the looks of it. Quiet as a church mouse, even with 5 fans ƒ case, CPU, PS, video card), and I DO mean quiet, as in barely audible. Great cooling -- CPU runs at 26C to 38C depending on work load; HD runs at 28C to 32C. Length will accommodate most energy supplies and video cards. Light weight. Slide out MB tray. PS incorporated, although to me it was a con as I purchased a superior PS. Exceptionally fantastic 10 web page manual, complete with 31 colour pictures. Light weight construction that can tend toward flimsy if you are heavy handed. Front panel ground wire was loose - verify it. Had to eliminate a small bit of aluminum Ƒǚ" x 1") in PS rear panel cutout to accommodate the switch position on the new Corsair PS, but it was a really easy mod and it may well not be a problem for other energy supplies. PS is incorporated, no matter if you want/need it or not. (Mine's in a box.) The mounting for the front panel circuit card and connectors is a small "soft" compared to the Gen 1 version of this case. It flexes a bit when plugging into the front USB ports. I have owned the Gen 1 version of this case for over six years and have been very pleased with it. I probably would have utilised it once more except this Gen two case is 1" longer, which helps accommodate larger power supplies and longer video cards, and the cooling has been improved with added vents and an added case fan. The form factor fits perfectly in the space I have for it. I really like the manage on the Gen 1 case far better, but because I hardly ever transport the case, who cares? It is really hard to beat this in a micro ATX case, in my opinion.Corsair 650HX PSi5-2500K Sandy BridgeMSI H67MA-E35 MoBoKingston eight GB DDR3MSI N450GTS OC VideoSamsung 103SJ 1TB HDSamsung SH-S223L BurnerWindows 7 Pro

Its smaller which is what I necessary (to fit into a kitchen desk cabinet). It has a 500w PSU! The MB I bought fit into it without challenge (EVGA e-7150먎i). Front LCD w/two temp leads are a good addition. Inexpensive, Low cost, cheap... and flimsy as can be. I honestly cannot imagine employing this case as a carry around, the metal is really easily bent (and partially was when it arrived, box was broken also). Luckily i'm not making use of it for its portability but just the size alone (to fit into a smaller location). Decent value for what you get I guess given that it has a 500w PSU integrated. If the PSU goes out i'll be mighty upset as there are a lot superior micro atx cases you can acquire for around the exact same price that do not contain a PSU.

Cheap, has front firewire and temperature display, motherboard tray slides out. energy provide seems to work. Extremely poor construction. The product will most likely get bent in some way through shipping and simple assembly will trigger it to develop into misshapen. The cutout for the I/O panel was not created appropriately so I had to file the metal down to match it in. Don't acquire this. Invest the further cash for a thing nicer. Also, handle is mediocre at very best.

everything the testimonials are saying are suitable on target. The case is solid as soon as with each other, becareful with the cover. Its a small tight, but hey its a cube, and its supposed to be tight. Complete size PS is a plus, along with the pull out mother board tray. Nice QUIET COOLING. The 4 pin connectors seemed to be a little flimsy. the pins come out the back way too effortless. A single side note, which isnt the case manufactures fault. I had troubles connecting the distance from the challenging drive on the side to the DVD rom with a normal ribbon cable. I had the make positive the HD was on the inside slot to get it close enough. all round a good box, I feel the only factor I would modify is producing some anchor points for tie downs.

SFF, Micro ATX. All metal no stupid affordable plastic. No silly see by means of panels. 120mm rear fan (included). Comes with a energy provide (regular sized ATX not some custom underpowered tiny job). Light weight. Carrying deal with (that retracts!!!). Front ports. No front panel door and keys! (those are sooo useless) Add a memory card reader (with or without floppy) to the front 3.five slot. Economical! No stupid flashy colors and lights (but you can purchase them) Can only use a MATX motherboard. NO ESATA PORT!!! Not a case for the non-seasoned or non-mechanical. Not for water cooling. Not for key overclocking. Demands FRONT ESATA PORT to be near ideal. Inexpensive! (quality can be greater but you get what you pay for and this case is worth it). Some could need a more effective energy supply. For 15 yrs I have employed Each SFF and HTPC case out there. This case comes the CLOSEST to what I have been hunting for. Yes this case has a Cheaper power supply but it operates and I have by no means had any challenges and you can replace it with any other except those Massive 1000W ones. Yes it is produced of thin aluminum that will bend effortlessly when the case is apart (together it is strong and firm) but this tends to make it light weight. The manage retracts and I have under no circumstances had one particular break or fail on me it is sturdy adequate for typical carrying. Appear at my pro's and con's, if this case had a front ESATA port it would be nearly great. I say this case is not for the inexperienced nor the non-machanical varieties. It takes patients and skill disassemble and reassemle. I have utilised more than 20 of these and they all fit with each other well if you take your time and have some skill. Airflow is Additional than adequate for the non-overclocker or mild more than-clocker. The temp sensors perform nicely. For the typical, JOE THIS IS IT!

- Light weight- Looks excellent- Good spacing and layout on the inside, however compact - Aluminum building - Extremely LOW Excellent power provide (died soon after 3 days)- Case is incredibly fragile. Effortlessly twists and bends (mine actually arrived dented Do not believe you'll be capable to run the energy provide for any affordable length of time. I ran mine with a barebones program (Mobo with integrated video, 1 really hard drive, and a dual core), and the power provide couldn't manage it for much more than three days. The energy supply is light as a feather (not a very good indication of a higher good quality PSU). The integrated energy supply WILL die on you in a short time. If you get this case, be sure to obtain a top quality PSU with it (Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, and so forth...). Trust me on this 1. Compact and sits on my desk, below a shelf, like the designer had me in thoughts. Internal layout is really effectively although out and it houses a ton of components with no being stuffed. The sliding drawer permits access to memory, cables, pins, and so on. without having considerably effort. Structurally it is a little light but after the lid is on and the screws in place it gains its strength. I've been working with this earlier version 24ǝ for over three years with no any problem what so ever. Mine is the 500 watt PS and it is supporting a quad-core cpu, dual HDs, DVD drive, multi memory drive, a host of USB devices, a couple of external drive enclosures and more. No difficulties and quickly I'm taking the lid off and measuring to install a low-profile graphics card.

Motherboard tray really hassle-free. Also choose this solid black case to the windowed versions. Lots of ventillation to preserve air circulation going. The deal with, despite the fact that it feels flimsy, works quite effectively, and the case itself is quite light. Considerably simpler to carry about, weight and size-wise, then my older desktop. Flimsy case. Lots of sharp edges - got myself cut twice with em. Have to be cautious about wire placement, may well be liable to get some stuck in a fan, in particular around the CPU. Not considerably area for custom CPU fans either, despite the fact that this was pretty substantially a offered for a mATX case. I didnt take the danger and purchased a Cooler Master RS-650 energy provide. Match completely in the case. Have had no issues so far. My Radeon 4850 match with room to spare.
