So far so good.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Pretty amazing features and performance for the money. Using digital optical audio out, blu ray player and playing RPGs & Shooters with no issues. |

Excellent for a Year..
Cons: For the individual below, the screws come with the case! Also, the person that tried DDR2 and DDR3 together...are you kidding me!
Pros: Have had a significant amount of time and this mobo has worked great. Used E7200 and E8400 CPUs and both fly. This has been in a LAN Gaming Machine. Also used DDR2 800 Crucial Balistix (4x1GB). Comment:
Time to upgrade but it has been an excellent board. |

Watch out if you need more then four Gigs or 64 bit
Cons: Then I tried to load XP Pro 64 with nothing but TROUBLE. I had eight gigs of DDR2 ram and two HD's I couldn't get nothing to load it keep giveing me error after error message couldn't load OS with the memory I had and when I only had two gigs of mem it worked fine. then I tried to update the BIOS well good luck doing that I had to send it back to ASRock which was okay then I put the replacement board in and the same thing happened. Just go buy something else that will let you use a 64 bit OS without having to use MEMORY REMAPPING!!!!!!
Pros: Price and options and thats it! I like how you can have two memory type and all the HD outputs loads of USB and a lot of room to expand. Comment:

Good board
Cons: none
Pros: Comparably inexpensive. ICH10 chipset flies! paired with core 2 duo e 7500 2.93 1066 fsb, and gskill 2gb 1066mh pc8500. very fast! Booted no problem, mem timings were correct, processor clocked correctly. Did not have to mess with any settings in bios. Comment:
I built 2 computers with this board ( and the above mentioned proc. and mem.) for my parents, one almost a year ago, and one 2 weeks ago, identical computers, they love them and so do I !! I'm running a p4 3g prescott w/ 2gb pc3200 and theirs is so much faster..........I need an upgrade!! |

...Had to RMA
Cons: I was very excited when I got home and saw the package. I opened it up and... no screws. They didn't include screws in the package. Luckily I had a lot of extras from the rig and had just enough to attach the mobo to the case.
Pros: This time around it worked smoothly. Comment:
It's ridiculous that they didn't include screws. Everything else has gone well, though. |

Had to RMA
Cons: The IO shield had lots of prongs sticking out that were difficult to bend back, and they kept the mobo from seating correctly the first time around. The PS/2 keyboard controller was DOA, so I was unable to enter the bios or setup windows, etc. USB-based keyboards didn't seem to work either. Sent it back for RMA yesterday.
Pros: Inexpensive, comes with a lot of features. Comment:
It's my first time building a computer, this was very disappointing as it took me around 3 hours to get it all together, then I needed to take it all apart again. Also, it only had one 4-pin power slot next to the CPU, but I'm pretty sure that a Core2Quad needs two 4-pins? Also, after pressing the Power button on my case, it took a few seconds before the lights would all come on and the computer booted.I'd still recommend to a friend, mine was probably just an isolated case. For how cheap it is, failures are to be expected. :-\ |

Greap Inexpensive Mother Board
Cons: No firewire, only 1 PCIe 2.0 x16 slot.
Pros: Supports DDR3 RAM, not to expensive. Comment:

Moderately Cheap board, works.
Cons: Only real problems were only minor things. Simple things that could've and should've been fixed before it was put on the market. Like, the CMOS battery is RIGHT UNDER where you'd put a Graphics Card, so to flash your bios, you have to take out the Card. Also, if you're attempting to overclock, and it doesn't work, it will not refute back to default settings or anything of the sort, or even previous working settings, it will just try random under-clocked variations, that would some times take about 5 minutes to try one combination. Although, this was my first ever attempt at overclocking. But, i did get it stable. BIOS wouldn't update on XP 32-bit, but Windows 7 RC x64 worked fine.
Pros: Well, it definitely suits my needs. It has a PCI-e slot, SATA II, LGA 775 CPU slot, etc. It even has some future-proof-ness with the DDR3 1333 slots. Basically, if I could get it working, I didn't have problems. There are a lot of settings for it, so that isn't an issue. Comment:
If you're okay with a cheap-ish board that you'll have to work with a little bit, then this will work just fine for you. |

No Dice...
Cons: My board is at best limping. It was never able to have a very stable OC. For a while all the USB ports on the beast just shut off and wouldn't work for a month... I finally went through and disconnected everything and reconnected it with a positive result.Later the board decided to stop working while i was playing a game and using bittorrent. I tried to turn it off gracefully to no avail, so I proceeded to cut the power. After this it didn't want to give the "happy beep" so I pulled out the ram and switched it, and re-seated everything else. It finally gave the happy beep, but then I had to reinstall grub (boot loader) because it was spitting out "error 17."
Pros: This board was a cheap board that boasted to be the end-all be-all. And I am sure some of you will receive that board. Comment:
I am not entirely sure what happened to the board to make it mess up multiple times. If i hadn't installed at least a dozen different motherboards in the past couple years, I might have thought that I hadn't put something on tight enough or the like. But because I installed it and know that every thing was "all good" as far as connections I am led to believe that the board is somehow at fault.I would recommend holding off for a different board. I wish I would have. |

Solid
Cons: Some of my wires are stretched pretty far to hook to their connectors, but they hook.
Pros: DDR2 and DDR3 support7.1 sound onboardlots and LOTS of USB ports. Comment:
I've been running this board just about 24/7 since january. Nothing has burned out or stopped working. I also like the ability to upgrade to DDR3 if I want to in the future. I was a little shaky choosing ASRock, but afte seeing this board hold up day in and day out, I'd choose them again. |

"Value" Motherboard
Cons: Randomly errorsInstant boot software does the same thing as Window's hibernate and sleepDoesn't auto detect memory very wellBoard came with half of the memory slots defective
Pros: DDR2 and DDR3 compatableLots of open ports for USB, SATA connections, etc.Countless settings in the BIOSManual is very helpful in hooking up everythingOverclocking software is included Comment:
I fell in love with this board at first, but realized that the specs on paper don't follow what this board actually does. I eventually RMAed the board before it was too late because of the random crashes and defective memory slots. ASRock I heard is a hit or miss company with it's products. If you do get this board, you probably will need to set your memory timings and voltage in the BIOS and set (or disable, I forget) memory mapping so your memory performs as it should. The OC Tuner works well, but I could never get a high and stable overclock (this was my first time attepmting something like this). I would set my FSB jumpers to 1600 if attempting to overclock.Don't forget to update the BIOS! I did it safely though Windows.Newegg's customer service is superior to any that I have ever known! |

Good Cheap Board
Cons: Had to adjust the BIOS to get it to read all 5 GB of RAM, although it was literally just me switching an option on, Board takes a couple of seconds to boot (before windows)
Pros: Cheap, DDR2 & DDR3, Enough SATA ports and connections, BIOS provides a lot of options Comment:

Excellent board
Cons: None
Pros: Never had any problems with this board, high quality worksmanship, extremely well put together board. Supports both DDR2 and DDR3 memory, which is a really handy feature as DDR3 memory comes down in price. Plenty of PCI slots, as well as a PCI-E 2.0x16, for high performance video cards. I STRONGLY recommend this board for anyone, whether it be a gaming machine, office machine or any custom rig in between, you will not be dissapointed. Comment:
Fitting the I/O Shield can be a pain, but that takes like what, two minutes? |

Cheap and Good
Cons: when i turn the computer on, it takes 2-3 sec to boot, well not a major problem but kinda annoying when i am in a hurry.
Pros: Work as described perfectly, I love the price, very cheap and works smoothly Comment:
I think this MB is very good compare to its price. If you want to build really really good computer, look for more expensive MB |

Satisfaction didn't last long at all
Cons: Happiness did not last long at all. The motherboard died only 5 months of use. It died slowly, starting with the death of the on board sound, then to one of the on board USB ports, and then the board died altogether. The RMA process through ASRock is HORRIBLE and they made it pretty hard to acquire which made it a painful experience. The customer service representatives barely speak any English and were very hard to understand.
Pros: Very easy to work with, well laid out board, on-board sound is very good, all USB and Front Audio ports worked perfectly, plenty of SATA ports to work with, a big video card did not hender one of the PCI slots useless, standard overclocking worked perfectly even a novice can do it safely within its BIOS options. Comment:
If you are buying any motherboard from ASRock, consider it comes with no warranty. I managed to exchange the board and I of course paid for shipping it to them, they sent me another one in very cheap packaging that refused to even power up. I called them again and they pretty much said that I am lying to them because they test every motherboard they send before shipping it. I was on the phone for about an hour until they told me I have to send the board again, at my expense, since apparently I am lying to them.Do your self a favor and go with another more professional and respectable manufacturer. |

Works well if not for BIOs
Cons: BIOs is touchy. 1st board I loaded the updated BIOs onto the board and let it cycle on and off overnight. In the morning it was still cycling on and off so I manually shut it down. Board would no longer POST after that. 2nd board stopped POSTing after I manually reset the BIOs with the jumpers, just kept cycling on and off again.
Pros: Worked well when it was running. Comment:
Tried two Asrock boards for two new builds this time around. I am not impressed. The headaches are not worth the lower price point.Runs good with GSkill DDR3 ram(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231190) |

Pros: it was cheap Comment:

Great Value
Cons: Wish RAID were built in, but I may or may not ever set up an array anyway. No firewire either, but I knew that when I bought it.
Pros: PCIe 2.0, tons of memory options in bios. Asrock OC tuner software. DDR2 and DDR3 support. I paired it with an e5200 and run it at 3.6 GHz Comment:

<<<<<SUCKS>>>>>
Cons: ASROCK is a HIT OR MISS company. THIS BOARD SHIPPED WITH THE !!WRONG!! BIOS CHIP INSTALLED!!!!! NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT FROM ASROCK WHATSOEVER!!BOARD IS COMPLETELY UNSTABLE AND USELESS!!!!
Pros: LOOKS GOOD ON PAPER Comment:
I have contacted newegg to see what they want to do.i'm guessing RMA and that will mean $$$ on my part to ship the board back...SUCKS since it was a build for a friend...that had a very tight budget. Now i am layed off from my job and am going to have to eat the rma costs.this will be my LAST budget build with low end parts. |

Good motherboard/brand
Cons: My main reason to write this review: Stay away from ECS, I purchased this ASRock mobo to replace a broken ECS (after 5 months of use), I'm still waiting for Tech support's solution (they keep asking me about other components installed or probably it's a short circuit caused by the case, even after I told them that the new ASRock mobo is working fine) .
Pros: Has a lot of features compared to cheaper motherboards. I have several ASRock motherboards and they work fine. Although some models came with only 1 USB internal connector. Comment:
Luckyly I got this mobo to fix the problem, instead of wait for the bad Tech Support from ECS. |

Horrible
Cons: First board killed 2 gb of OCZ ram. I have since RMA the ram and motherboard. The second motherboard has another bad ram slot and will need to be RMA. Also killed another set of OCZ RAM. Also corrupted my quad boot system. XP, VISTA, windows 7. I've had the PC built for 3 months and have had to reload the OS's a total of 15 times (mostly vista) due to random shutdowns during updates due to the bad hardware. Many othe rissues DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD.
Pros: Looked great on the site, had problems from day one. No Fault to newegg. AS ROCK is horribleDO NOT BUY Comment:
I build custom PC's everyday at work using ASUS and have never had a problem with their boards. I am buying an ASUS board from newegg very soon. |

Decent MOB
Cons: it was open box...i installed all components. started boot and nothing . i was bummed ! so i looked at the motherboard and it was missing the jumper to clear the cmos so i borrowed one from a spare MOB and set it to defalt and WAAAALA it booted
Pros: Runs OCZ ReaperX HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Games run QUICK! unreal tournament 3, crisis , DCS Black SHark,,, once i set timing in the mother board bios to ram specs except for the voltage which is set to 1.88v IT RUNS LIKE A CHARM!!!!! Comment:

Works great for me
Cons: Nothing really, all the features advertised work. If you're looking for features it doesn't have, buy something else.
Pros: Decided to write this because of a review i saw below. I have had this board for about 6 months. I have an e8400 OC'ed to 3.8 GHz with all bios settings still on auto and the frequency at 422 MHz. So the guy who said he can't get to 3.6 may be doing something wrong. Overall a great board for a single card, helped me make a cheap and powerful build. Comment:
Haven't used the ddr3 slots yet, mostly because with a core 2 duo it gives no performance increase. Might be better with a quad though. |

Great budget board
Cons: The placement of the Audio jumpers on the board is a little frustrating, since a lot of cases do not have a long enough cable to sufficiently reach it without crossing over the bottom PCI slot. This wasn't too much of an issue for me since I'm only using one of the slots, but if you wanna load up on PCI cards (for whatever reason), be aware that you will run into a minor space issue.
Pros: Cheap, well laid out (mostly), and compatible with most modern technology. Comment:

Good MoBo
Cons: Will NOT overclock my e8400 from 3.0 to 3.6 GHz. Also, the main power to the mobo is right in the middle, which makes cable management a pain. BIOS is not super customizable
Pros: 1600 FSB, Supports DDR2 + 3, Does almost everything well. Comment:
For a basic gaming rig with only 1 grfx card and no OC planned, get this board. Anything above, get a real ASUS or Gigabyte |

I've owned this mobo for 13 months in a HTPC. In that time I have run XP32Pro, Vista32Ultimate and now Win764Pro. I have never had a problem with it. I must be one of the lucky few. There are many complaints in this review list and if these reviews were around when I tried to buy the board, I would have run away and looked at other manufacturers. Sounds like ASRock has zero support and that sucks. I did update to BIOS 1.90 a month or so after I got the board - instant boot is cool when it works right. I have not overcloced, so nothing to report there. I have not tried DDR2 1066 or DDR3 memory - I will try DDR2 1066 soon @ 8GB, so I hope it works! The rest of the primary configuration:RAM: G.Skill 2 X 2GB DDR2 800 F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQCPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (stock cooler)GPU: GIGABYTE GV-N250OC-1GI GeForce GTS 250 1GB
