Cons:a little flimsy

Pros:good features for low price.
Comment:
The board has nice feature and come in at a nice price. had no problems setting up the board. overclocking was also a breeze specially with the new unlocked processors. The board is a little flimsy and tends to bend a little but that wasn't a problem as i am usually extra cautious while handling componentsoverall i would definitely recommend the board to anyone in a tight budget and wants good performance

Cons:-cheapo d-pak mosfets run pretty hot-very thin pcb

Pros:-it works fine with great software-its cheap for what it offers overall
Comment:
Its not the best board you can get for the money but overall it is a good value. personally i wouldnt recommend it again since it uses a pretty thin pcb that can be a issue if you are going to use a heavy CPU cooler

Cons:Had a temporary issue with the ram slot, but eventually fixes itself.

Pros:Bios interface is neat and the motherboard itself is durable.

Amazing motherboard for its price, when you can buy the same quality motherboard for higher. I purchased it when it was on sale, and have been using it for more than 5 month without any problems.

ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:- flimsy- crappy rebate

Pros:- really awesome BIOS- incredible bootup speed- tons of features and easy to use
Comment:
This is an awesome board for it's price. It has a lot of features and it's boot up time is rediculously fast. However, it's flimsy. When installing your stuff you have to be very careful not to bend the board. Just plugging in the main power sounds like the board will crack in half. Feels cheap. Also, the rebate is just ludicrous. You have 10 days to submit or it's not valid. I for one did not know that because all the other rebates I've ever submitted in my life was 30 days. So, I missed it by a day because I was still collecting computer parts.Overall, I'm satisfied with the board itself so far but just a little ticked about the rebate.

ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:-pcb is brown

Pros:-enough ports to satisfy anybody-capable of installing dual gpu-more usb 3.0 ports than some other boards
Comment:
This was my second choice when NCIX was sold out with their asus motherboard bundle, but the asrock was just as good for a cheaper price after the mail in rebate. The brown pcb might be a turn off for some as it might not match your other components. If you are like me and don't have a case with a window then your all set. Install was easy with no issues with any of the connectors or ports.

Pros:Works great, VT-D passtrough compatible.
Comment:
I bought 2 of theses and applied for the mail in rebate. I never received the mail in rebate. The mail in rebate was supposed to be 2x40$ = 80$. I'll remember not to buy from Asrock again.

Comment:
After looking at a fair selection of Z77-based motherboards, you come to the conclusion pretty quickly that the ASRock's Z77 Extreme 4 is part of the Extreme series which includes the 555 XFast feature set that allows for performance of up to 5x over competing designs. Outstanding motherboard for its price.

ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:PCI-E latch

Pros:Inexpensive, Speedy, Bios
Comment:
I can only compare this ASROCK Z77 Extreme4 with the Asus P8Z77-V Pro. Not quite a fair match but still, the ASROCK doesn'T get outshined. The ASrock has a high-quality construction but be aware: you'll need to support it from the back when you plug the big power connector and install your Ram: it's only suported by two rows of standoffs, not the usual three rows. Not really a "con" as long as you are careful. The ASUS heatsinks are not sufficiently supported, they are big and move around and my ASUS had a defective PCI-E slot. WIN: ASROCKSimilar situation with the PCI-E latch: The ASROCK has a weak sliding lock design on the PCI-E slots, not the much preferable Snap design you'll find on ASUS. If you are not VERY careful, it'll break very easily on you since it's made of very brittle plastic! WIN: ASUSThe ASROCK has a significantly better Bios: Everything is easier to find and better presented. If you have high-end RAM with intel XMP profiles, it takes three clicks to get them to work at high speed with the ASROCK. You will struggle a lot more with the Asus. Finding some essential features on ASUS is downright painful, forcing you to toggle between easy and expert modes and requiring too many clicks on your way to something as basic as deciding between PCI-e or onboard graphics for boot. WIN: ASROCK by a lot.The Asus has a nice Bios update  method built-in the bios but ASROCK is even better! From the Bios, the asrock goes online and retrieves the latest version. No booting to DOS of weird buttons to push. WIN: ASROCKThe ASROCK completes POST faster and boots faster than just about any other brand/model of Z77, just like online reviews showed. WIN: ASROCKIt's avery stable board, very fast too. I haven't tinkered with the overclocking features yet. WIN: ASROCKThe ASROCK Z77 Extreme4 represents excellent value if you can get it around $130-$140. WIN: ASROCKOne star deducted for the brittle PCI-E latch, otherwise awesome product!

Pros:Insanely good mobo for the price.. has more features then mobos 3x the price, built in power switch for out of case testing, nicely labeled headers and detailed manual. Dr.debug is very useful.

Pros:- Fast USB transferring speed- Good internet packet priority management- Many overclocking features
Comment:
I picked up this mobo during boxing week, a very good bang for the buck considering its features, especially after the MIR. The 555 features are quite appealing, I like the Xfast USB and Xfast LAN the most. The virtual MVP is also a bonus if you are not using the integrated graphics.

ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:- No native PATA controller (with that, almost perfect board)- Can be a bit of a pain at times if you set anything up improperly, it provides very little information on the reason it cannot boot unless it's something major.

Pros:- Relatively cheap for what it can do/what features it has.- Nice looking, uniform color scheme.- Lots of fan headers, 3 of which can be controlled by CPU temp.- Fairly robust regarding safety features, you can pretty much throw any settings you want at it, plug and unplug things randomly or improperly and the worst that happens is you'll reboot.
Comment:
"Very Good - Would Purchase Again"I in fact did. Bought my first one a couple months ago, to no fault but my own I fried it (shorted ChaFan1, burnt a trace, subsequently shorted that trace with one of the the lowest PCI-E 1x slot leads, which killed the Southbridge)Personally I don't think that should be possible, toast a resistor, sure... fry 4mm out of a trace that's 5 inches away, not so much.All-in-all easily recommend it.

ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:None

Pros:Z77 chipset, quality caps, feature packed, 8 SATA ports, good price.
Comment:
This is an awesome motherboard. I just put this puppy in a customer build with an i5 3570K. This board has awesome features for the price. In this price range, very few boards have 8 SATA ports onboard. The board is slightly smaller though, so be careful when you are plugging in the 24 pin power connector. You will want to use a couple fingers to hold on to the board while plugging it in. Asrock did everything right with this board. They decided to use gold plated caps as well. You won't find a better board in the 150 dollar price range.

Cons:does not work with 400/500 series nvidia gpu's.cheaply made, could easily fall apart in your hands

Pros:alot of featuresoverclocks nicely to 4.2 with no problems or crashesgood looking gold caps and heatsinks are awesome looking
Comment:
Ive had this board for 3 months, first month went ok, second month was used to RMA the board as Asrock is very hard to deal with when it comes to their awful customer and technical support. The first problem was that the bios got corrupt somehow, i did not even overclock. Now after the 3rd month it has stopped working completly with my gtx 570, as another reviewer said, you get black screens and what not during boot ups. SO beware when buying this board that you do not use it with 400/500 series nvidia cards as they have conflicts with the boards onboard audio and cause it to not work whatsoever. Other than that it works great, overclocks great and looks nice and has nice features for the price of it
