DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. We purchased our computer two months and it has a known issue with the adapter. The adapter basically overheats and becomes non functional. When we contacted the company we were told they would replace the adapter but that their company was out of stock and the company had no idea when they would be getting any in. Obviously this is an unacceptable answer as the computer is completely non functional without power. After several intense phone calls and an email I was finally given a projected delivery date of 4 to 6 weeks. Now I do not know about you, but when I purchase a computer I do so because I need one. This particular computer is for our son that is starting college. Imagine his frustration as he is wrapping up a five page essay that is due and the computer powers down because the adapter was not working.

I purchased this computer to use it as my work laptop. The best decision I ever made. It's very compact and fast enough. I have not had a problem with it. Other than not having a CD drive it's perfect. I knew It did not have a CD drive, but there is ways to get around that. If you intend to use it for work purposes, I highly recommend it.

Wireless support very good (802.11n). Low weight. A friend can insert her (sony) memory card. Unfortunately, have netbooks a standard resolution 1024x600 (instead of x768) so, the OK key, etc, can be missing. But we rotated the taskbar (vertical) which solves most problems.

I don't own this but a friend does and I used it...wow..very nice. Battery life is sweet.

The Eee pc 1000ha is a great netbook. The one I bought from a local retailer has a 4 cell battery, but I bought a second 6 cell batter for extended use. After putting in a two gb stick of ram and repartitioning the hard drive I must say that this little guy does everything I could ever want. Can't wait until windows 7 comes out. I think then I will buy a solid state drive too slap in here.
