Good monitor and capabilities for the price point it's at. Like reviewers ahead of have stated, the volume controls could use a little perform. The volume down operates okay like it really should, but you have to go into the menu just to turn the volume up. I won't deduct an egg for it, due to the fact I don't use the built in speakers and most other persons won't, but if you intend to use the built-ins beware. Newegg got it to me quickly.

This is the sweet spot as far as value goes and 23" 1080p monitors.

Gorgeous image, several inputs, high res, sleek appear. One of the units doubles as both an extended desktop monitor and a Television. I have it hooked up to a dvr via the hdmi connection. The only downside, the volume manage is challenging to manage. If this item came with a remote to manage the input and volume control it'd be excellent.

Bright whites, Sharp Blacks, really clear image, rapid response time The energy button cover is orange and rather ugly, but minor in the grand scheme of things did a BUNCH of analysis, and it was between this monitor and a Samsung. There was a MIR promo, so i got this 1... Quite glad i did! Purchased this monitor to compliment my Acer 22''. In no way realized how bad my Acer looked until this screen was subsequent to it. The picture is insanely sharp! Cant comment on the speaker as i dont have them hooked up. i imagine they sound brutal, fork out 50$ and get a set of logitechs.

Clarity. Size. Value. Look. No dead/stuck pixels. Thick frame. Speakers, of course. LED lighting would be good in this grade of monitor. General, tough to beat this deal. Is perfect for someone who wants to hook up a console or cable box to their monitor for occasional light use of either. As a monitor, this thing is quite smooth and bright all the way across. I have mine on like 40% brightness and it still appears too bright at instances.

wonderful picture, no blur at all. NOT 1 dead pixel! Speakers are weak... (but who buys a monitor for its speakers?) If I had the cash I definately would purchase 2 a lot more proper now.

Excellent! It's got good display, got mine with no dead pixels.Colorful and bright. Only factor I didn't like is that for some purpose this display has some screen tearing on some games.I've seen the worst on Black Ops and TF2.Works fine with SC2 and WoW.(All games at max/ultra settings.)Operating on 2x gtx460 1gb gigabyte SLI set-up I force v-sync both in game and on nvidia's control panel, but still see some screen tearing...i had to limit my fps down to 45 in Black ops and TF2 to makme it playable (even limiting it to 50 wasnt adequate)

Wonderful price, super rapidly shipping, superb good quality. Buttons on the front are somewhat tricky to use, specifically in low-light conditions. Right after a ton of analysis I settled on this monitor. Man, all I can say is that I am glad I did. Excellent item. Great resolution, great value, heck the speakers aren't even half negative. I purchased this monitor along with a few other ASUS goods and I am very satisfied with the general quality. I would suggest this monitor to buddies and loved ones.

High tech design incredibly attractive high gloss finish. This monitor was specifically what I was hoping for and with the holiday pricing it would be tough to beat. All the ports are quickly accessible. Setup was a snap literally, the base snaps into place and can be just as easily removed for storage or shipping. No harm or defective pixels as reported by some reviewers. For the brief time that I have had the monitor nothing to report. I am not working with the built in speakers, but the audio cable supplied with the monitor was a little short for my setup and would will need to be replaced with a longer cable or extended with extra cable adapters.

Lightning rapid shipping (Haven't opened box however.) Ordered it as a gift for the Holidays so I haven't opened it however. Really impressive shipping. Arrived at my door 28 hours right after I produced the buy on-line. Shipping stats indicated it came from NJ and I live in PA, but that's nevertheless quite quickly!

Vibrant, plugs correct in and lets you get to it. No HDMI cord included, couldn't price Asus that substantially to throw one in. I would undoubtedly suggest to anyone

For some this maybe a con, nevertheless it wasn't for me. I have gotten so use to big Tv's that I believed buy a 23" could had been a negative concept, but I was pleasantly shocked by it's size. Not to huge, but not to modest. Following adjusting the settings on the monitor and in my Nvidia control panel, I cannot be happpier... thank you Asus for a wonderful item, and thank you newegg for promoting it.

This this looks great and seems incredibly properly built. I was going to do dual screen but there is no need to have with so considerably screen genuine estate to operate with now. Menu takes a little receiving utilised to but works fine. Speakers are monitor speakers so not the finest. Just ordered a set so this isn't a major deal. Speakers great for streaming video or occasional use but get a cheap set of ฮ-40 speakers and you will be substantially happier if you will be working with audio.

Properly packaged..no dead pixels...makes WoW look like a whole new game. And its Huge...finest bang for you buck monitor. Only complaint I have is the rough edges where they joined the plastic frame together...sort of a poor assembly job. The many inputs are good..im running this monitor on an old dell dimension 4600 with pent. 4 single core processor...I have an ATI Radeon X1300 256mb video card and I know this monitor can look so much greater but the astounding resolution and picture good quality improve lets me know I picked a good one...would extremely recommend this to any person searching for a nice sized gaming monitor

Good display! No dead pixels on arrival. No genuine complaints. Numerous state the sound good quality is bad. But what is truly to be expected for built in speakers? No worse than a common tvs built in speakers. Excellent picture. none 1080p all the way running HDMI looks much better than my LCD tv

Incredibly vibrant and display and straightforward to use. Wish there was a remote control or an solution to buy one because it can be applied as a Television. Not a deal breaker although as it’s main function is getting a monitor for my computer system. Excellent acquire. No deal pixels. Extremely recommend Asus goods to all my pals and family.

Really crisp picture (on each my Computer and my PS3), quite economical for the size and resolution, ASUS, HDMI + VGA + DVI, looks good sitting on desk. Controls a small challenging to understand, the inputs are really far back in the monitor (not that big of a deal if you don't plug and unplug on a typical basis. Exceptional bang for your buck

IT'S Major.. after switching from a 17" LCD anyway. Really good image. No dead pixels. The "Splendid" modes are cool. VGA, DVI, HDMI.. whatever you need. Superior price. Sound could be far better.It seems to take a whilst to pick up the HDMI audio signal. Kinda annoying, but it works. Didn't even open the manual, no trouble navigating the OSD menus.BFBC2 looks amazing on full 1920x1080 res. Can't wait for the new FPS games coming this fall.

Owned for two years now, nonetheless going strong. Working with with a Macbook Pro, and when set on 1080p looks just as very good as my laptop monitor. Little to no ghosting, even when plugged into my PS3. Great for any individual living in a dorm, since it has built in speakers that are decent for movies, but not so significantly for games. speakers are just decent. Stand isn't incredibly adjustable, would be much better if it gave more tilt. Menu method is complicated. Color is a little off, even when calibrated, particularly when compared to my samsung LED monitor of similar price. Great monitor. two years going strong.

-Price was correct, risen slightly as of this writing. Arrived in mint condition and powered on with ZERO dead pixels. Its been almost a month and the screen performs beautifully. Really sharp on DVI. Have not applied the other inputs.-Wide sufficient to have two windows open side by side for coding, imaging, file management, etc.-Your neighbors wont complain about the speakers getting too loud or rattling their china.-The truth it even has speakers.Nonetheless have the plastic on the screen edges as they are very glossy. Screen isnt too glossy, practically no reflections. Same as most other complaints with the button visibility and the on-screen menu, its takes a small even though to find out. How considerably time are you going to spend playing with the menus, genuinely? Although I suspect the color/brightness will will need to be changed by most folks. Box was a small scuffed, but thats the carrier. The Contrast and/or Saturation was up a bit too high and it brought on the colors to be a little off, it took two minutes to fix it. Speakers act like smaller monitor speakers need to. I knew what to expect, so I can't make them a con.Newegg deserves a mention for lightning-rapid service days just before Christmas. It arrived in 2days soon after 5,000 miles. Guaranteed three-day.

This monitor is the finest! We bought this for Christmas. Our last monitor was tiny and gave me headaches. The ASUS has wonderful color and does not take up a lot of room due to it becoming so thin. It is light and straightforward to move about. Fantastic monitor for the price. The speakers are so-so but wonderful for the cost. Collects a lot of dust.
