Has been performing fairly solid. No buyer's remorse, definitely worth the money. At 100% color, color is nonetheless washed out a small. Then once more, this is in comparison to the 55 LED in the living room. Also, menu controls are a small tough to get employed to. But thats correct of each monitor. Looks good, nice and shiny, haven't had any difficulties. Just wish you could crank the color up a tiny more.

Massive display, fantastic HDMI monitor.. bought it for 贝 bucks open box.. so about 贈 dollars off the original price.. cant beat that! =D unfortunatly it does have one missing pixel =( but 104 dollars for a pixel isnt half bad I would buy an additional 1 of these open box given the opprotunity =)

The screen has lovely colors and a crisp image with plenty of settings. The number of distinct hook-ups is impressive. First one arrived with dead pixels, so I exchanged it. Second a single arrived with dead pixels, so I returned it. Asus makes a fine monitor, now only if their QA would catch up.

This monitor is exceptional soon after you have taken the time to adjust the color settings(brightness and contrast largely.. I use the preset sRGB profile) and every thing. When you have done that, it displays motion pictures, games, documents, and so forth.. so vividly its astounding and there is no need to adjust these settings once again. The absolute worst factor about the monitor is the position of the buttons. Tends to make it tough to press them. Even so, when you have adjust the monitor to your liking theres not a lot need to use these awkward buttons once more. No eggs off for this.Some ppl have had problems with the HDMI, I didnt use the HDMI connection so I wont take an egg off for that either.Be warned....the screen is extremely thin and can be damaged quite quickly you wouldn't even feel it.I was plugging my usb keyboard into the back of my computer system and the finish of the usb connector lightly swung into the lcd screen and tapped it, cutting into it like a hot knife in butter. Entirely my fault and even tho a 100% accident I am really sorry to say it does not take a lot of anything to scratch or reduce into it.Still, no eggs off for that minor set back, this monitor cant be beat for the price and the gorgeous display you get for it. I purchased this monitor from an additional retailer around Christmas the 1st time and damaged it(see above), so I purchased an open box of this monitor from Newegg with free of charge 2 day shipping for a low cost of 127.99... cannot be beat. And completely satisfied with it.

No dead pixels.Shipped speedily.The colors are additional vivid than my Hi221D Hanns-G monitor.The fast color switch setting is hassle-free. The speakers suck-- but I'm certain whoever buys this isn't going to use the speakers for film watching or something. They're okay for Windows noises, but beyond that, they are poor.Switching from 16ᚲ to 16ɍ took a tiny obtaining applied to.The padding about the monitor is a small massive for my taste. Try to keep it a small far away from you. Almost everything looks so much greater when it's farther away, in particular videos.

any i dont know if the box are open in the border since the monitor is from us and i order from canada but i got open box and i got dead pixel and all arond my monitor i got white light that look extremely low cost is realy appear like piece of junk i use it about 2 day i request rma but the newwgg charge for ups are 39$ not really great for defec product is the last time i order massive item on-line since ups charge and quite disapoint for the display you never know what display you will have next time i will look in the store sry for negative english

Great for the money! Connecting making use of DVI and getting no problems. Not actually a con but it didn't come with (and I can't uncover on the 'net or the Asus web page) the Windows 7 driver - as a matter of truth can not uncover any drivers at all. No windows 7 (or any other OS) driver. Windows 7 installed a generic driver. If any person knows exactly where to download this driver - let me know.

-1080p Good quality is great!-Bright so I can see items, but not blinding in any way-Color contrast is also wonderful!-It's ASUS! The current ideal brand that I know bigger and as a result a bit much more cumbersome to carry around, but I knew that when I purchased it. I got this for Christmas and I have to say that I'm very nicely happy. I also have an ASUS P55 motherboard which is also terrific. ASUS has in no way let me down and I doubt that it ever will! I will but from ASUS in the future :D

any order new monitor but obtain the box open it the break foam i start off the monitor got stuck pixel and ghost all arond got white light the monitor look low cost and ungly ask rma but the charge are to extremely hight am stuck btw i dont understant why neweeg get rid of my review 3 time i only say the correct no choice to give 1 egg

Pretty good monitor for the price tag! Bright, clear, no dead pixels, and you can switch inputs, permitting many devices (for all you youngsters with an xbox subsequent to ur Pc) no tilt, no height adjustment, but if you're buying this you know what you're receiving into. power button could be a smidge less complicated to press. not actually a big situation tho. I have it sitting next to a reasonably new Acer 22.1" and you can see the distinction clearly...this monitor is nice and vibrant, crisp colors. A solid obtain at the cost.

Soon after reading some of the other reviews I believed I was taking a bit of a chance on the efficiency / quality of my buy. I am Incredibly pleased to report that the monitor i received (VH242H) is quite bright and crisp and text is quite clear. No dead pixels and plays games extremely nice with no ghosting at all. General i am five star happy with this acquire. I knew goin into this purchase the speakers were weak. I imply come on, they are rated at two watts!! So ya, they dont like loud noises and get scratchy when pushed to higher levels but are more than adequete for basic CPU use. great deal here and good service from newegg :)

This is a good monitor. Lots of options in the monitor's setup menu to adjust it to any scheme you want (I highly recommend Theatre mode). No dead pixels. No "green glow" from the bottom of the screen as other people have claimed (and I usually play games in pitch black dark, so possibly ASUS fixed it or some thing).And at 赔 it is an absolute STEAL, I love you newegg. I was disappointed to find that when I asked it to hand me a spork, it instead gave me a spoon, which I discovered to be an utter insult (it can be rude from time to time). I went from a 17" RCT monitor (made in 2003) to this monitor, so it was a Big improvement. Wonderful image high quality, fantastic color, great every little thing. You actually shouldn't want a screen bigger than this, unless you are a millionaire off the stock market place and require to be watching 50 graphs at after or one thing ridiculous.

-1080p-uncomplicated, strong, black bezel devoid of glaring LEDs on buttons or protruding speakers.-crisp image, blacks are black, not a flaw.-solid, removable base stand. Sturdy.-Included DVI, EVGA, and HDMI cables with great length.-optional VESA mounting None as a result far. Worked like a champ proper out of the box. no fussing with video settings or color. SPLENDID video presets are well completed.

- bright- bold colors- simple access to buttons- simple color settings; theater, scene, game, and so forth.- HDMI- great price right after promo- decent speakers for casual use - smaller MIR - piano finish usually attracts dust and finger prints, but not a massive deal I was impressed at how bright and bold the colors are on this issue, suitable out of the box. I came a lot and do a lot of CAD function, so a significant crisp monitor is nice to have. This is it. I upgraded from my old Samsung 2253BW to this greater resolution and slightly bigger Asus. No regrets. :)
