ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:- Only 6 ports, with only 4 USB 3.0 ports- No active cooling- Lacks proper heat dissipation- Audio chip is not the greatest, lower end Realtek model

Pros:- Lots of options inside UEFI- Seamless integration with OS- Automatic profiles and performance adjustment scales nicely
Comment:
I use this with a 4670k and it runs beautifully. The UEFI is a little convoluted though, very daunting trying to figure out all the different settings, and trust me there are A LOT of settings. So if you really want to personalize your overclock then its good, else just do the auto modes.

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:mobo prices have gone up compared to its last gen predecessor

Pros:-cheap motherboard and it has SLI-sufficient usb ports. 2 more usb 2 ports would have been nice-upgraded audio codec compared to last generation-looks great
Comment:
Great board for your money. Its capable of running SLI if need be and its a solid board out of the box with no issues during setup

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Z97 motherboards just came out, still have 2 old PCI slot

Pros:Very good UEFI BIOS, 3 full size PCI-E slot
Comment:
Very stable motherboard so far. I have 2 Radeons R9 290 on this motherboard and a core i3, and it works very well. I was in a hurry to build a PC, but at this point, it makes more sense to buy a z97 motherboard, because of the support for the next processor that will come up later (devil's canyon and broadwell).

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:I/O shield is flimsy.USB ports don't support charging devices when the computer is off.

Pros:Good features and performance.
Comment:
I'm really liking this motherboard. It has all the features I need and the included software is great. I am particularly impressed with the TurboV Evo and Fan Xpert 2 software. The TurboV Evo overclocked my cpu to 4.3 GHz at 1.200 volts. It increased the BCLK frequency and ratio a bit at a time until it found the limits of what my cpu could do.The Fax Xpert 2 allowed me to easily set custom profiles for all my fans, which are attached to the conveniently located fan headers.

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:-USB 3.0 Controller causing high DPC latency-Strange bug where the RTC stopped. (had to clear cmos to fix)

Pros:-Price and the features you get with that price.
Comment:
This board seems to have all of the important features that come with the more expensive boards of the Z87 line. In comparison to some of the more expensive boards you're missing a couple sata ports, wifi, and bluetooth. Most of that can be supplemented with USB or PCI-e devices. There has been a couple strange issues I've had with this board however... One being the way the RAM is inserted. The bottom half just pushes in and the top part clips down as traditional. When installing memory I think I messed it up by not properly having the bottom portion secured. I had to push it in more to hear the click. Another problem I had was after applying some changes in the BIOS the RTC stopped. Looking online I saw other people had this problem so I needed to reset that by clearing the cmos with the jumper while the PC was plugged in and off.The last problem I still have and haven't been able to fix is a high DPC latency which appears to stem from the USB 3.0 controller.Other than that there's not much I expect from a board in this price range.

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Installation instructions did not include directions on how to mount motherboard to computer case

Pros:Performs well, all SATA6 ports, looks great
Comment:
Manual needs more details on how to install motherboard to computer case and what screws to use. Also needs more clearer instructions on what ports on the motherboard connects to each computer component. Once installed, the motherboard worked great though!

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Misleading LED on a RAM problem

Pros:Works, plenty of troubleshooting and ease-of-use features
Comment:
I had some problems and/or brain farts on this one, so I figured I'd share. First I got beep codes, 1 long and 2-3 short whichever one leads you to RAM problems. Turned out I hadn't gotten a proper click on the EZ end of the RAM socket (the non flippy side) - make sure both sides click. Then past the beep codes it stail failed to post, stuck at the red light on RAM. I tried the little RamOK button and all variety of chips/slots to no avail. It turns out that LED is inacurrate and a different forum led me to try reseating the cpu even though it is not the CPU problem light lit up. That was the problem - albeit nothing obvious, I simply took off the HS/F and removed the cpu, looked studiously at the pins, set the CPU extra carefully this time and it posts fine now. Bonus problem - I broke the stupid little plastic feet of a HS/F where it anchors to the board one time, so now I have this phobia of removing them. In this case the four corners pulled up easy enough but I was having great trouble re-attaching the HS/F - the feet would not click down. Turns out you just gotta hold the damn thing in the air and un-retract those plunger buttons because they were already down... Then it snapped back on nice and clean. That's it, hope someone benefited from my derpiness. I won't take a star off for the misleading LED, since I see it as a net gain in troubleshooting tools (inaccurate > none).

Awesome Asus product again. Asus always has a great entry level option with tons of features and backed up by Asus. This MB was bought for my brothers new gaming rig. Purchased in the bundle with the 4670K which made it a great bang for the buck deal.

Cons:Bios have way too many settings, No more IDE gotta get rid of my IDE DVD that was working great, pretty sad.

Pros:Asus Product, good price.
Comment:
This is an awsome board, Make sure you update  Bios when buying it, mine was not update d and got some strange stuff. I'm used to make my own bios settings but in this one there's SO many settings, I had to let some default one. For a user that love to try a lot of setup. It's gonna be perfect, and for those who just dont know how to play in Bios setting, there's a easy mode pretty simple to help them start.

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Not enough SATA connectors

Pros:CheapBuild quality
Comment:
It's a great entry level mb with a lot to pack for the price point. I could overclock my 4770K to 4.4 easily, but it needs a bit more voltage than I would have liked. I probably got a very average 4770K, and didn't win at the silicon lotery. I don't think the mb is to blame for stability issues (although it may be the case for 5 Ghz +).Asus did a great job with their new setup and Windows tools, it's easy to adjust and understand.Only problem is there's only 6 SATA connectors... I knew that from the get go, even though, 6 is a bit on the low end.

ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Some minor difficulty installing the I/O shield, but that's to be expected from a rookie builder like myself.

Pros:Lot of flexibility with I/O ports and, SATA and USB headers, PCI expansion slots, and fan control.
Comment:
Significant improvement over anything else I've owned. For a first time build, this motherboard provided me with excellent flexibility. I purchased this bundled with the Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4GHZ processor, and have been very happy thus far with the system's speed, stability, and response.

Cons:I bought a second board for my nephew and his board had a problem with the primary VGA slot. PC will not boot if his video card is connected in that slot.

Pros:It does exactly what I needed.
Comment:
So far, the board is very good. I installed a I7 4770k and 16GB. Running fast and smooth. I like the graphical BIOS. I will eventually overclock the CPU and hope this board will let me configure it.

What a great motherboard. Again I'm so satisfied with Asus's quality and support. Such great quality and great prices everything is always exactly as described and the seem to stand behind and support there products. The website is so easy to navigate and find Uefi/bios updates software etc. Raid and Uefi settings are a breeze to handle. Never anything bad to say about Asus and its products
