AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:When I first got it, a few keys didn't work but they started working a few days later, and it's been perfect for months now.

Pros:Cheap gaming keyboard, looks cool, feels sturdy enough. Great for $20.
Comment:
Decent keyboard, pretty good for $20. REbate worked fine for me. The quality seems ok, and is comparable to other entry level gaming keyboards. I don't really get the harshness of some people's reviews for this keyboard, it's not like its a high end $130 keyboard, and it feels no cheaper in quality than most other keyboards I have used. (mostly logitech and Microsoft keyboards)

Cons:Poor quality build, lag on key strokes, rebates not honored.

Pros:Looks nice.
Comment:
Poor quality keyboard, and Azio do not honor their mail-in rebates. Buyer beware. You're better off just going for a cheap $10 or $20 keyboard from someone who will at least charge you an honest $20 upfront.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:keys can feel a little sticky, backlit is a little dim even at it's highest setting

Pros:Solid construction for the price, backlit keys
Comment:
Purchased this keyboard for an elderly person who was having a hard time with seeing their original keyboard. It has a lot of options for the price but the main reason that was that it had three different light levels of backlight for the keys. One would think that three levels would mean low , medium and high backlight not dim , dimmer and dimmest. The keys were not as responsive as I would have hoped but the main disappointment was the backlighting for the person who was needing to see the keyboard properly.

Cons:Not Mechanical, but its okay for its price point.

Pros:CheapBacklighting
Comment:
The keyboard was cheap, had a backlight. The only thing about it is the fact that it is not mechanical, but again, for the price point, it is expected.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:Keys stick, misses keys when typing, additional icon gaming keys that come with it stick even more than the originals. Requires a driver and tray icon with a reboot required.

Pros:Backlit, macro keys, windows key lock
Comment:
It's a cheap backlit keyboard, but I had no idea it would be THIS cheap. First, It comes with extra WASD Q E and R keys for gaming. R is for Reload and thus has little bullets on it. Unfortunately after pulling out the original keys and putting these in, they stuck and were completely unusable. I had to remove them and go with the originals again.Second, I'm a pretty fast typist at about 80 WPM. This keyboard frequently misses keys, or types doubles, which really slows me down. I was going to leave all the missed keys in this review, but it would have been too difficult to read.Third, it needs a driver that first requires a reboot to work, has two executable files running in memory with a tray icon. This is for macros, but I'm pretty sure a good gaming keyboard can save and execute its own macros without a driver, only needing apps for programming them. I find this to be lazy, and I really don't need more processes to add to the 70+ I have running. Fourth, It has this automatic shift key / caps prevention feature that can NOT be turned off. If you're typing quickly and write HEllo by accident, it will correct it to Hello. However, if you're trying to type AMD, it will automatically write AmD. As an example, I'm holding shift down and typing HaHaHaHaHaHa and you can see the result. Very annoying when using acronyms or trying to laugh at someone and you can't turn this feature off. Finally, I find it hard to find my place when not looking. The bumps on F and J are difficult to find, causing me to look at my keyboard while gaming.. which usually means death. The macros down the left side can be easily mistaken for the farthest edge of your keyboard, throwing you off by a few rows. It's also easy to mistake M1 for ESC, thus my first macro for M1 was ESC.My $10 HP keyboard I nabbed somewhere 3 years ago will probably go back in place of this one while this gaming one will be used for the server that never gets touched.

Cons:Small backspace buttonSummary

Pros:Cheap priceBacklit keysMacro buttons
Comment:
When I received this keyboard and plugged it, the backlit keys stopped working after about 1 minute. I had to send it back and get a new one, but since I got the new one it has worked fine. I bought it when it was on sale for $40, and I am glad I didn't pay more than that. It is a good keyboard, and it looks nice, but that's about it. And the small backspace button takes a little bit of getting used to.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:Keys placed too closely together (fingers feel cramped)Keyboard quite large (despite the keys)Keys feel too shallow with too much resistance - not suitable for typing

Pros:LED lights work as expectedRubber feet at bottom are nice touches
Comment:
I've requested an RMA for this item, as it is malfunctioning out of the box. Whenever I'm typing, every few seconds something strange would happen: the Mode button would light up, and the last key I pressed would continue to output to the screen for several seconds, as if I've pressed it down for several seconds. This obviously makes typing very impractical, especially if the key is the space bar. It's quite sad, because the Logitech OEM keyboard that I intended to replace has better feedback, has never had any problems with the keys, is more comfortable to use, and has a much smaller profile. Guess I'll be using that instead from now on.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:too simple, cheap construction

Pros:Price, backlit key, simple
Comment:
Overall I'm satisfied with this keyboard, probable because the price was so low. Works well and the backlit key are a nice feature. My only complaint is the construction is a little cheap, cheap shinny plastic. It looks like a $30 board and I got it for $15 so still a good buy.

Cons:It feels cheaply builtThe keys feel mushy with no tactile feedback when typing and gaming

Pros:- Backlit Keys- Macros and Priofiles- Changeable keycaps add a nice touch
Comment:
I got this on sale which is when I would only get this keyboard. If you're looking for a quick replacement keyboard for gaming this is for you. Upgrade to a mechanical keyboard if you're a serious gamer or typist.

Cons:Responsiveness when I type is absolutely horrible. Not a single of the Macro keys are working.Profiles are not working even with the latest software.Very often some letters will not register when typed.

Pros:Nice low-profile key caps and good overall lighting.
Comment:
I bought this keyboard on May 2nd and received it May 4th. I am glag that I paid 35$ for it as it is really not a good keyboard. When I try to type "HAHAHA" by holding shift it types "HaHaHa" and I was never able to make it work normally. Tried many hours to have the macros working and it failed, same thing for the profiles. The keyboard is lifetime warranty so I will try to RMA the keyboard hoping Azio Corp will do something about this.

Pretty decent for 40 dollars. One problem I'm having is that the 'u' button requires you to press the center of the key.If you are a fast typer, you might even notice that you get alot of typos while typing with this keyboard.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:Tiny backspace key, Macros for launching windows programs stop working after computer sleeps, Macro keys do not light up.

Pros:$30, Keyboard works, looks good, easy key remapping
Comment:
I wanted a backlit keyboard, I got a backlit keyboard, and for $30 I'm not complaining. The only problems I've found are the small backspace key. My backspace reflex keeps hitting backslash instead. I had to remap the keys to fix this, which is very easy to do. Also I set up the macro keys to launch google chrome, and the windows calculator. However, if my computer goes to sleep the macro keys stop working untill the next reboot. I can't find driver updates for the board either. also the macro keys don't light up but are well positioned so it is still easy to identify what key you are hitting in the dark.

Cons:Wish it could be brighter in a well lit room, but bright enough for dark rooms.

Pros:Backlit, 10 macro keys, Winlock, big and imposing.
Comment:
I like the size of it, and the macro keys are a plenty. Macro software seems easy to use and haven't ha a problem setting up a few. (I reserve the left side for games, the right side for Windows functions/programs. Good gaming keyboard for the money.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:Poor mushy key action; bad arrangement of backslash and backspace

Pros:Looks nice; backlit; nice features; feels solid
Comment:
I bought this because it was on sale at $39.99. It looks nice and solid. However, the cons far outweigh the pros. The key action is extremely poor. The spacebar only works if you press down the exact middle with extra force, and can randomly register 2 spaces. Many other keys sometimes register twice too, forcing me to be extra careful when typing. The mushy key action has no feedback about whether or not a key has been registered. Also, the backspace is very small with the backslash right beside it - this is a valid configuration, but not one that I like. It works, but Would NOT Purchase Again! Unsuitable for intense gaming or anything that requires a lot of typing, such as programming or writing.

AZIO Levetron KB555U Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:- Macro keys aren't backlit- I prefer the large backspace button, just personal pref

Pros:- Three levels of backlighting- Macro keys on both sides is a plus IMO- Large profile, feels very sturdy, not light and flimsy
Comment:
With fairly limited use of this keyboard so far I think its pretty decent. I still don't understand why the macro keys aren't backlit, the 3 levels of backlighting was a nice addition. I switched from a Microsoft comfort curve 2000 and this is a completely different feel which I find is hard to adjust to, but that's a minor complaint. Overall, if something happened to this keyboard (barring a design flaw) I would purchase it again. It's a less expensive option over the G110, especially when it's on sale.
