Comment:
1200 watts, Fits effortlessly in my Coolmaster HAF X case. Not fully modular. I knew this going in. I still had three unused non modular cable that I had to tie up.Tends to make my TA-750 appear brief. Seeking back. This energy provide is overkill for what I required. I don't regret acquiring it and may well need to have it if a upgrade in the future.

Ok. I guess I'll be the initial to evaluation this wonderful item. Not only is this energy supply seriously quiet, it's tiny compared to the 850watt p/s that it replaced. I have now been in a position to improve each my cpu and SLI gpus overclocks. No "coil whine" like that AX model from C--s--r. The 1 web page instruction sheet that comes with the HCP-1200 tells you not to set up it until you have downloaded and study the complete manual from Antec's web page. I only dilemma is that the manual was not readily available when I looked two days ago. Usually, this wouldn't be considerable, on the other hand I heard that this p/s has been in development for much more than a year. Effectively worth the value! This is undoubtedly the very best 1200watt p/s available at the moment. - surely a ought to get! Manufacturer Response:We apologize for not possessing the manual on the internet at the time you purchased your HCP-1200. It's now readily available at the hyperlink under!External Hyperlink(s): HCP-1200 product web page|

This is a top rated of the line energy provide for my desktop laptop and it much better be at more than 跌. Modular is good. I will not have to get a different energy provide for the subsequent ten years probably. it wasn't totally modular. Those cords can take up a lot of space. I purchased this with upgrades in thoughts as my existing two gig video card calls for 600W all by itself and I would like to get two of them (which would bring the total to 900W in a crossfire setup).

Fantastic testimonials, appears like a rock strong product, and Im confident they are wonderful when they function as intended. Was going to use to help energy new Tri SLI gtx580's. For me only so far, but it arrived from the egg close to DOA. I installed everything, hit the power button, and the only issue I got was a loud electrical snap and two fried really hard drives. Soon after that, it spun the fan 1ǚ turn and would under no circumstances function (even tho it was sending energy to all my elements..lights had been on and so on on MB) Thankfully the MB and anything else survived. As I stated, im positive this is a excellent PSU and I would have gave it a great review had i not had this horrid experiance. I have constructed and installed a lot more Computer's than I can bear in mind, and this is sadly the initial PSU that has completed this to me on power up. I guess I have been fortunate..:( Not seriously the eggs fault or anyones. No business can send out 100% perfection. Just sucks when you are 1 of the unlucky ones :( Manufacturer Response:Anonymous, this absolutely isn't the efficiency we expect from any of our items. As substantially as we may well strive for each item to be excellent, failures do take place. Hybred cables are just proper, Lots of energy cables are lengthy enough for my mid tower(Antec 900) None This has nothing to do with this proudct, but I have a B#@$h,What is the IQ of the persons who package these high dollar products they put the item on the bottom of the box with all the packing materal on leading. This is the same with just about every purchase shiped to me. So far even with package damage no item has been DOA. Lets get with it New Egg and have some excellent handle inside the shipping departments.

Got my new HCP-1200 and initially point I noticed was the good quality packing. The PSU itself comes in a fabric bag and all the extra modular cables in 1 too. Installation was a snap, with all the cables labeled, and wrapped in a mesh covering. I run some IDE and some SATA, so all the diverse cable alternatives have been crucial. I was quite pleased that some of the cables I was absolutely going to want had been really hard wired into the PSU. This kept me from getting to pull the supply immediately after install to readjust which cables I necessary to have connected. The good thing is, I didn't have to stuff a bunch of extra cables into my drive bays, simply because any "extra" cables I required I would decide on to add using the modular ports.Soon after firing up the Computer, I quickly noticed it was considerably much more quiet than my preceding 650W. This is massive as it is in my living area, and I haven't noticed any variations in its noise output either, quiet all the time. I've added some energy efficiency to my household with a decrease Tv vol So far I haven't run into anything I don't like about this Power Supply. All in all, this is a amazing decision for a energy supply, particularly if you run any sort of SLI configuration or have several challenging drives. I debated long and hard on whether to invest in the HCP-1200, and I am so delighted I did, due to the fact now I can strategy program expansions without getting to worry about my energy supply again. I would advise it, and look forward to expanding to an SLI config now that I have it.

Strong but tiny. Amazingly quiet for its smaller Fan. none I agree incredibly substantially with what another reviewer right here stated, when I opened the packaging I believed "this issue is only partially modular" but then I ended up working with all of the non-modular cables anyway. Also the additional pcie power sixư pin cables had been a bit stiff.I was working with a thermaltake toughpower 875 and it was A lot louder. I haven't even had the fan operating past idle utilizing an i7950Ɠ.8Ghz) and GTX580 + watercooling + three hard drives playing Crysis. I would get this power supply once again and suggest it to other individuals.

Pros:high power, high efficiency, quiet at times, semi modular

This power supply is one of the better psu's on the market. It handles my quad SLI setup with ease. Being semi modular is better than being non modular but I would have definitely would like it better if it was fully modular.

I upgraded from a Corsair and I'm glad I did. I wanted something a little beefier since I was thinking of going to tri-SLI, and this was on sale at the time. I've always been a big fan of Corsair so I was somewhat surprised when I saw the quality of the cabling on this unit being superior to that of my old Corsair unit. It has worked flawlessly, even through a couple major thunderstorms, one of which actually blew my 1500va UPS... Not even a hiccup. Nice and quiet too for such a powerful unit.

This is quite the PSU. I was at a lan exactly where ASUS ROG came out and pushed this unit to the edge. i7-980x & 4xGTX580's overclocked and cooled with LN2(Liquid Nitrogen) and the meter place it at over 1700W for a excellent chunk of time more than and over yet again. n/a There are bound to be faults in all points, so there might be 1 that doesn't do as effectively as I've observed.

Installed this on the advice of a Tech Tips Youtube video and haven't had any issues. The modular cables are fantastic, everything reached in our massive case.We have been running an entire studio on a machine that uses this power supply with no issues. It's a heavy production machine. We use the computer for rendering long 1080P Blu-Ray quality video in 2D and 3D, editing in fully rendered 1080p on three screens. The system has never crashed. On weekends we've tested this machine with the top games since it has an ASUS NVIDIA 590 video card. Incredible results with the same stability. When this machine isn't editing video, it's serving as the core audio recording / editing / live video feed for our podcast. If this will run our main production machine under heavy load for days at a time, it'll survive your heaviest gaming binges and home rendering solutions. Here's the computer this power supply is responsible for:Intel Core i7 3960X Extreme Edition 6 CoreCooled with Corsair H100ASUS P9X79 Deluxe ATX LGA2011 MotherboardCorsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB 4X4GB (Running 2 of these kits for 32GB 8x4GB)ASUS 590 NVIDIA 2GB Graphics card (For incredible CUDA performance boost with Adobe software)2 x Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB 2.5IN SATA3 SandForce SF-2281 SSD Drives (1 for OS, 1 for Production Software).2x 2TB WD Caviar Black HDD on SATA3 (Striped for scratch disc)2x 2TB WD Caviar Black HDD on SATA 2 (for longer term storage)Adaptec SATA3 PCI-E 4 Port card for hot swap drive bays.ASUS BW-12B1ST Blu-Ray WriterAntec High Current Pro 1200WCoolermaster Cosmos II XL-ATX Ultra Tower

Lots of cabling, a lot more PCIE cable connections than I will ever hope to will need, quiet operation. Not 100% modular, but any person getting this sort of power supply will use any cables that are hardwired to the unit, and then some. PCIE cable extra pin connectors to make a 6 pin into a 8 pin had been fairly stiff and difficult to connect. This power supply is getting used in a i7-920 method overclocked to three.8 GHZ, 2 GTX 580's in SLI, and numerous difficult drives and fans. It has, so far, run everything flawlessly. It is Significantly quieter than the 1000 W PSU it is replacing, specially no (very annoying) high pitched whine noise when stressing the GPU's. Essentially, just about every preceding high wattage PSU I've used has had that noise, so I believed it was standard, until I started out using this one particular.

Some people take into account it a con that this is not totally modular but the only wires that are attached to the power supply are the ones that you are going to will need. Nevertheless have power to spare if i ever want to overclock. 6 pin PCIe connectors are both on a single cable per finish of every connector(less crowding to get power cables to fit in case(HAF 932). General completly satisfied with this solution. The 8 pin 12v CPU connector was some what a pain in the back end attempting to get into a ASrock X58 Extreme6 Motherboard but that is not Antec's fault but the fault of the motherboard designeer. I've always been a fan of Antecs high end power supplies and the 1200 continued my respect I have for Antec. This thing will power most anything you can throw at it. I had alot of hadware including a dual loop/triple rad setup running off it without a fuss or much heat generated. For me to give this a 5 star rating it would have to have a 120mm+ fan and be fully modular, other than that, this is the best multi-rail PSU money can buy IMO.
