Antec Nine Hundred Black Computer Case With Side Panel Window

Purchased the case when it had free shipping at the end of November. Replaced an Antec 300 and will try and compare this to the 300.+ Comes with 3 fans vs. the 300's 1. The two front fans provide excellent flow over that HD's in front of them.+ About 2-3 degrees cooler with respect to ambient temp within the box.+ Looks a whole lot better+ The little storage shelf is very convenient for keeping screws and other little tidbits.- All the fans (except the fat boy on top) have the annoying blue LEDs. The good thing is that snipping a wire turns them off.- When I got my case the power button was ripped off and could not be used. Upon contacting NCIX I received a replacement top portion within 2 weeks. I did not however receive the top fan which was a bit of a disappointment since NCIX said I would Replacing it was a pain in the butt without a magnetic screwdriver due to the tiny openings for the screws. Had to go out and buy a magnetic screwdriver to switch the fan.- And this is a minus for the 300 as well. Replacing hard drives requires a lot of effort.- No thumbscrews unlike the 300- Very inconvenient and cramped to work with.Overall the case is quite good given the price paid for it but for the $130 pricepoint that it sells for regularly there are better cases if you like to open up your case a lot. If you just install it once and forget it, then this case is perfect for you.

It does have some flaws, although they can be fixed with minor modding. Like no hole for the power supply to face down, the way it should, you could take a hole saw and cut a hole. As for cable management, do the same thing, cut a few holes in the motherboard tray. Paint the interior all black, and you've fixed all the flaws.Great case, I highly recommend it if you're on a budget, and looking for something with room that looks great.

This case looks nice and keeps my parts nice and cool,but the cable management leaves alot to be desired and leaves all of the wires basically hanging out in the open(an eyesore), but overall a great case that I would recommend to anyone.
