Cons: none!

Pros: Great PSU, super reliable, top notch build quality
Comment:
Overall very satisfied after two months ownership. Don't hesitate to buy if you are looking for 850watts. System uptime stable for over a week. I havn't run any significant diagnostics on it but i know good build quality when i see it. Good modular design!

Antec Quattro 850W High Efficiency 80 Plus Power Supply New
Cons: SATA power cables a little thick for the HAF case

Pros: Modular FTW!
Comment:
This was my first modular PSU and it works great. The cables were just the right length and easy to install and position around the case. Although, they probably could cut down $5 on the price and not use such a fancy painted box.

Antec Quattro 850W High Efficiency 80 Plus Power Supply New
Cons: not fully modular

Pros: Antec name brand, cheaper than competitors
Comment:
This is a great bargain power supply when it's cheap (as in a little over 100 bucks). It's not the best power supply out there for this wattage, as professional reviews will tell you. However, it is still up there with the best and remains a fantastic deal when you can get it on sale. The racing stripe makes it look cool, in my opinion, because the interior of my case and components are all black. For those with other colour schemes, you may not be too crazy about the stripe.

Antec Quattro 850W High Efficiency 80 Plus Power Supply New
Cons: some inconvenience due to my case, should be fine for others

Pros: stylish looking, stable power
Comment:
Bought it when it was like 140 bucks or something. Overall a very good PSU. There is only one thing that I'm concern about, although it is not critical. I'm using Antec 183 and have to take out the middle HD tray to satisfy the space need of my 5970, and I have 4 HDs down at the bottom HD tray. Since I'm using 4 HDs so I need 4 SATA power which take up two module slots. I have to use molex power for the two 120mm fan on top of my case and this takes the last module slot. Now, I think I will have trouble to install a SATA powered Opt drive because the cable is not long enough to reach the HD on the bottom and opt drive on top at the same time. Although it is not a big deal since I don't use opt drives much anyway, this may be sort of inconvenient at some point. It's not critical though.

Antec Quattro 850W High Efficiency 80 Plus Power Supply New
Cons: - LOUD... at least to my ears

Pros: - Unless you're running tri/quad SLI this will be enough for anything under the sun- I like the paint job- Cheap, got it at $110 for 850W
Comment:
Okay, first of all the only negative thing I have to say about this PSU is the noise. My computer is watercooled by 6 x 120mm fans with 2 more 120mm for intake plus a silenx 80mm fan and the LOUDEST thing in my computer is this PSU. Disclaimer: My case is an Antec 300 (no sound proofing like the p182) that has been hacked to pieces so that it'll fit 3x120mm rad and a 2x120mm rad.Still, I'm disappointed that this PSU is so loud since I bought this expecting it to be silent at idle as I'll only be drawing around 450W. I think the fan itself is not loud, but the wind turbulance is what's causing the low frequency noise. What really makes meis the fact that at idle, the air comming out of the PSU is only around 30C... cooler than it needs to be. I'd rather have the fan stop or spin at a lower RPM and have the exhaust at 40CI used a multimeter and at idle, I found the fan to be drawing only 4.88v. It's a real shame that I built a fan controller for my 120mm fans (granted that most are low powered ~0.15A fans)and even at 12v they are quieter than the PSU fan is at 4.88v. Just for comparison, I would say the loudest fan in my computer is the antec tricool at high (30dba) followed by the PSU then followed by the yate loons at 28dba. (I always keep the antec tricools on low [25dba] which is why the the PSU is the loudest thing in my rig)I might replace the 80mm fan with a noctura 80mm fan like this guy did here: http://www.overclock.net/power-supplies/373290-antec-quattro-1000-fan-mod-noise.html just to get rid of the noise at idle in a month or two. I'll report back when I do.Strengths:This PSU looks pretty good and it works without any high pitched squeal. My computer is fairly old and I'm only running dual SLI so I'll probably never eveb hit 700W so I really won't be able to tell how solidly it performs at it's max. Just incase you're wondering if it'll power your system, my computer specs are as follows:E8400 g 4.25Ghz at 1.4v/1.38 load/idle (vdroop on)8800GTX 660/2120 SLI780i FTW 4GB OCZ PC6400 DDR2 g 1020 5-5-5-15 2.1v Swiftech MCP6553x 640GB WD Blue8x 120mm fans (some high performance, some low)1x 80mm fan1x Fan controller that controls all the fans ( DIY PWM that runs at 97% effiency)And of course the Antec Quattro 850W powering the above.Overall, I think if you're going for a silent computer, go for the Corsair TX950 that's on sale now for $140. The high overhead means that the PSU won't run it's fan at high RPM. The fact that it has a larger fan helps too. If you're going for the higher OC and less ripple and are running air cooled or stock GPU fans then this PSU would be better due to the better ripple characteristics below 800W than the TX950.

Cons:not really modular

Pros:stable, strong, silent, good looking
Comment:
Very good PSU, you can trust antec. It does not have a fan on top, which is good with case like antec 300 where the PSU is on the bottom, as if a fan was present on top of the psu with those cases, hot air would be pushed toward the CPU.

Cons:PSU is huge, and cables are big and long. In small or medium case it might not be useable.

Pros:One of the best PSU I've owned. Very solidly build and tons of long cables. Power excellent and stable. Very quiet for an 850!

Pros:Quiet, does the job well, easy to install, many cables.
Comment:
This ps does everything you want it to do with ease. However, when it comes to cable management, it is a pain. The cables are not only short, they are very stiff and hard to move around. The cables are nice, high quality cable though, just stiff..

Cons:- Balancing the loads on each rail, it's easy enough but you just have to be aware of it.

Pros:- Plenty of power- Does not exhaust into the case like some of the PSUs with downward mounted fans.- Aesthetically pleasing

This is the 2nd of these i've purchased. I was really impressed with the first unit. With the $39 IR it currently has I decided to buy another to use in my next build.Currently running:Q9550g3.42x 4870s in crossfire1 WD 640 GB and 1 WD 500 GB HDsI know I have plenty of power to spare aswell so adding in extra hardware won't be a problem. Comment:
I'd been looking for a Corsair HX850 when I stumbled across some reviews for the TPQ 850 and decided to save some money by going with this one and I've got no regrets. I put this into Core i7 system that I switched into Coolermaster HAF 922 case and was blown away by how quiet is was after coming from a OEM Dell 1000 watt power supply. Its been powering my i7 920/GTX 285 SLI system for a few weeks now without a hiccup and is barely audible. However, a real drawback to the TPQ is the length of the cables. At about 22 inches they would seem to be long enough, but I actually had some trouble getting the 8 pin CPU cable to reach the connection. The HAF 922 is a big case, but its still only a mid tower: I honestly don't think that it would have reached if I'd been in a full tower like the HAF 922 or Antec 1200. The cables were also pretty stiff and I had to play with them for a bit to loosen them up before using them. The PSU has a lot of power to spare, so it would also be nice if there were a few more power outlets on it. Antec gives you a lot of cables to power up your system, but not a lot of outlets for anything more than a relatively basic set up, save for SLI/CrossfireX. A couple more outlets for more hard drives or case accessories would have been nice, but wasn't needed for me.

Very happy with this PSU. It performs very well - cool and quiet for 850W. It was very easy to assemble my system using it. The partially modular PSU is the way to go - I only have one stray power connector to tuck away. No mess = better air flow = cooler case = better performance.
