It's goes on straightforward and it goes on fir LIFE. This is for chipsets and greatest for passive cooling options, such as NB\SB chips. I say it's very best for passives because if you use it on something that moves, sooner or later the moving portion will fail and you will not be capable to get the stuff off. It's a rock What's with the complaint about the smell? It lasted perhaps 2 minutes and it wasn't that negative. Fantastic stuff. Obtain it if you require a rock solid bond and by no means intend to see the leading of your chips again. I applied a drop to my chip and lowered the cooler. The subsequent morning the fins on the cooler rang like a bell when tapped. It's that strong.

By and substantial everybody appears to enjoy this stuff, and I do as properly. The folks giving it low scores mention using it on their CPUs. Why on earth would you ever do that? This is an adhesive meant for situations that demand it, like sticking little heatsinks on GPU/MB chips that have no other signifies of attachment. There is no reason to use this on a CPU. None

Operates as advertised, firms up swiftly. Not as permanent as I had anticipated. I cleaned off each heatsinks and memory modules with iso. initial and applied as per guidelines. It does firm up very swiftly and transfers heat properly. A week immediately after application and continuous use I went to check and despite the fact that no heatsinks had fallen off (a prevalent challenge with thermal tape) nevertheless soon after a weak wiggle the heatsinks popped right off. Admittedly they could have stayed on for years had I not tempted fate but I wanted to throughly test it.If I can find another brand in the future I would try it prior to buying this product once more, if not I will gladly obtain much more of this. Not the very best but nevertheless FAR superior to any thermal tape out there.

It stuck my heatsink on there challenging. Hard to properly mix. I worked in a dental workplace mixing epoxies, working with amalgam and resins but this was the hardest substance I have ever attempted to mix. You require to mix about twice what you will use becuase half of it will stick to your mix surface and the tiny spreader is trash. A craig-four.five would have worked greater.

I've applied this many occasions to permanently secure NB and SB heat sinks and it performs extremely effectively. After it has set up your heat sinks will ring like a bell if you bump them. It's very straightforward to use as lengthy as you program your job before you commence mixing "Part A" "and Aspect B." If the surfaces are clean and prepared it takes only minutes to mix and apply, and it's easy to clean up as extended as you do it appropriate away. None I suppose it does a fair job at removing heat but don't expect a massive improvement if you are planning to use the stock heat sink. Instance: The NB on my most current board would quickly heat up to 75C under strain and drop to 67C immediately after many minutes idling. With the AS Thermal Adhesive applied to a clean chip and heat sink it nonetheless hits 75C beneath a max load, but swiftly cools to 64C at idle so there is some improvement. I use AS Adhesive since it's effortless to apply and will permanently and forever bond the heat sink to the chip. It's very good stuff as lengthy as you know going in that you will by no means see the best of the chip once again. I also like the quickly set up. By the time you get the heat sink secured to the board once more you can total your install and commence working with the personal computer. I use a bottle cap to mix the two parts. A little dab is all you will need.

Works Wonderful... Sticks like Epoxy.. dries quickly and keeps stuff from falling off. I utilized this on my video cards memory heatsinks since the ramsinks came with stupid double sided tape on them and wouldn't stick, but right after cleaning the stupid double sided tape cautiously off the ramsinks making use of a fine wire wheel on a bench grinder and making sure no stray aluminum bits where floating about on the heatsinks I glued them on and they stay place. This stuff is good and following a month my Video card is still thanking me for it. You will have the urge to adhesive everything about you. 1 - I give myself a tech expertise of five because I have sufficient brains to surface prep my get in touch with surfaces, mix element A and aspect B in equal proportions, and only use the smallest amount to get a thin coat involving the ramsink and the ramchip, with the end rusult of every thing running cool.two - Ladies don't uncover this as a great conversation piece more than dinner.

This Thermal Paste is awsome. Much beteer than Generic paste. My Temps on CPU have gone from 43 to 33 idle. My game play has not enhanced the temps with this paste None I have considering that gone to Gelid Intense. There is no comparison with the Gelid, which is much far better paste

I need to say I was fairly scptical about this stuff functioning, but to my supprise it performs fantastic. (as extended as you Do Study the Guidelines!) Dosen't smell to good, and it dose dry up rather promptly based on your climent. I had to take this stuff off the other day (trouble shooting a different mother board). I was plesently supprised that I was capable to remove the heatsenk with out damaging the North bridge that I had attached it to. Though removing the adhesive from the heatsenk was quite a task.

Fundamentally a five-minute epoxy with very good heat conduction. Uncomplicated to apply, really strong bond. I utilized on the tiny memory and voltage regulator heatsinks for an EVGA 8800gtx water-cooling conversion kit from swiftech. I cleaned off the original adhesive tape from the heatsinks, mixed up and applied a thin layer, and attached them to the 14 or so chips. Within 10 minutes, they were permanently bonded. Dropped my GPU memory temps 18C from the stock cooling answer. none work quickly. I advise mixing up many modest batches if you're carrying out a lot. Don't use this on CPU or GPU heatsinks, this is a permanent compound.

Good stuff, used on older motherboards to install new nb heat-sinks. Obtaining two tubes is understandable to everyone who has employed epoxy.... mix it up and let it remedy is the point. this is permanent. NONE utilised in 5 various machines on north bridge, south bridge chips, hot network controllers, sata and raid controllers and never ever lets me down. bought two kits. recommend utilizing zalman chipset heatsinks http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118002they cool significantly better than old stock oem units adn appear way better.

It came with a mixing wand... well....you have to mix the two various compounds with each other really quickly just before it dries and becomes the super-glue of the next generation. when you mount the processor and the fan collectively with this thermal compound, they arn't going to come appart.....I ripped my old procesor in two attempting to get the fan off of it when I upgraded my processor. If you are hunting for added-strength super glue, you have come to the right location!

Hardens rapid It is a bit runny, but not terrible It seriously will harden in about 5 minutes. Of course, it won't be fully hardened at that point. If you can wait overnight, you will surely be great. I had a tiny ram heatsink that I put in the machine right after a half hour, with no difficulties.

Functions properly, extremely robust (permanant). A little goes a extended way. None. It sets fairly quickly so get the surfaces prepared ahead of you apply it. I utilized it to replace a South Bridge fan/heatsink on an ASUS A8N-SLI mobo.......great stuff.

Forms very strong bond. If you want to attach a heatsink and/or fan to memory or chipsets PERMANENTLY, then this is for you. Only if you don't know what you are undertaking. NOT FOR CPUs OR GPUs. They all have a better way of mounting a cooling solution than GLUE. Also this is not the greatest thermal conductor for sure. Assume of it as a additional permanent option to thermal tape. Waaayyy much more permanent. Finally: if you want to cool that RIALTO bridge..... this is your only hope!!
