Cons: Will require some custom modification to the case to get it to fit nice. I suggest a radbox. Not a drastic leap over what my Coolermaster HSF was doing.
Pros: Does a very good job cooling. With a good set of fans such as Noctua it's much quieter than my old HSF. |
Old temps were 32c idle and 50c full load on a 3.0ghz E6600 OC'd Core 2 Duo. Now temps are 24c idle and about 46c full load. But it is much quieter than before. These were both at ~20c ambient. PS. I would reccomend removing the stock thermal paste with alcohol and cleaning the copper with brasso before applying some high quality thermal paste This review was modfied by poster @ 03-19-09 10:52 PM
