Works well as a computer sub.The controls have a nice solid and heavy feel, no buzzing or rattles form the cabinet when pushed hard. I think the cabinet could use a bit of dampening though, I might try adding some acoustical stuffing later on to reduce port noise.After playing with different locations of the sub I find it sounds best laying on its side with driver facing the room and the port firing into a corner. The bass is solid without a lot of boominess.It would be nice if the auto on sensitivity were higher. It takes quite a bit of volume to trigger the amp and there's no 12v trigger or "always on" switch. |
