BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyThis card looks good for the price but buyer beware!! I normally am an EVGA kind of guy but I couldnt pass up this card when it was on sale. The card was DOA on arrival and I have been waiting about a week for a replacement. I called the techs only to find out that they use the same webpage as I do to check for updates. Lame. So here i sit.

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyRuns warm, but does the job. By the way, this thing is pretty massive. Hard to tell in the pics, but it is solid! And its long enough to impress the ladies.

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyThe performance on these babies is incredible. Running 1 at the moment oc'd to 684mhz on the core. Got another one sitting beside the computer for when my new psu shows up :) These things are smoking fast and heat is no issue. These things laugh at 85c, rated for 105c max. Max settings on everthing on any game except for shadows and object distance. Too bad it's dx10. Though dx11 won't be utilized for years.

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyI suppose I had high expectations from this card, because I'm only let down by it honestly. Got it on sale, for 240 or something a few weeks back, this was my battlefield bad company 2 build. Well, 3 weeks later I've got it all set up and running medium with subpar FPS. If you're buying a card, get ATI. Nvidia even released a driver that was frying peoples cards, lol.

Best card for the cash
Comment:
BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyCompared to the GTX 260 216, and the GTX 285, when overclocked this card has the potential to mop the floors with the competition. At stock speeds the card is just a few tenths of a billion pixels per second behing the GTX 285. I overclocked with the factory OC specs and was very happy with the frame rates and resolution the card is capable of producing.

A Good Compromise
Comment:
BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyMy goal as the bottom end of the high end. That, to me, is really the GTX 260, but it's a negligible price differance so I stepped up to this. Two of these in SLI will put you neck and neck with any single card currently on the market. It can run about any game on the market adequately. FPS's, i.e. Crysis, is about the only thing that can strain it, but it runs it adequately at 1920x1200 as well. Stepping down to a 5770 and you can start bogging down occasionally. Stepping up to the 5850 and you just get ever more excessive frame rates. The only problem with installation was that it's a big card. Getting it in the case blocked out a couple of my drive bays. I bought it with the expectation of moving to SLI later, but with blocking the bays I'm not too sure. Two of these with an i7 CPU makes for a space heater. You definitely want an aftermarket cooler for the CPU even with just one of these as well as a side fan blowing directly on it.

SWEET !!!

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyIf you're like me, you're trying to decide between best deal and price vs quality and performance. I was trying to see where the happy middle ground is between these and I'm happy to say THIS IS IT! The 275 equals the 280 and even exceeds it in some areas while is remarkably affordable! I'm a hard core gamer and I've had this for several months now and I LOVE IT! I love to play COD MW2 and BF2 and Fallout 3 with all the settings on MAX! Even under the most intense graphics on the screen, not one glitch or lag or anything noticeable! It's pretty quiet even when I'm playing for many hours! It does need a power supply that can handle it so do what I did and make sure you got something that handles 48 amps total. I wasn't thrilled with having to get a new power supply but it's soooo worth it so do yourself a favor and get a new power supply AND this graphics card at the same time to install at the same time. This is a no brainer - Buy it now!!!

First card with nVidia
Comment:
BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyI joined the dark side. always been with ATI for some odd reason, not a fan boy, not brand loyal, just seemed to trust ATI too much. tried their 5770 with unstable drivers and walked away from ATI forever. happy with the GTX 275 OCX, even OC-ed it even more, Love it in Bad Company 2, at 1680 x 1050. I wouldn't recommend it since it isn't cheap and the industry is still waiting for nVidia's DX11 cards however I'm happy with my purchase

You can't go wrong with this card!!
Comment:
BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyI have been an avid nVidia fan for the past several years and they have been consistently the best performing GPU's on the market. Price is usually one of my main hurdles to overcome when it comes to the new gear they put out. I did my research here on this purchase, and can save anybody out there a lot of hard work. THIS CARD ROCKS. The 285 & the 295's are faster cards but, their price tags don't justify the performance bump. I am on the SLI forums and researched this quite a bit. If you are looking for good performance without the major hit on your wallet, look no further. If you want great performance, then buy two of these like I did and you have got a powerhouse.

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI ReadyThis card is BIG! I have a coolmaster ATX coldsteel case and its barely touching the HardDrive bays, had to relocate my HD actually because the sata cable was in the way. Pros: Nice card, runs Wow and Cod4 with on high with no problems, Able to hook up my 32inch hd tv and 23inch hd monitor. Cons: Big card atleast 10inches so make sure you have room! If it were me i think id look into SLI with my 9800GTX but since ive already bought the card im going to test it out for a bit to see how it turns out. Btw ive heard alot of stories about it being really hot, havnt had that problem what so ever.

BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI Ready Yes this card is very long so be sure to have room in your case; the HAF 922 handles it with ease. It was DOA which was a bummer, but I got a good one after I did a RMA with BFG. This card can handle Crysis fairly well with most settings on enthusiast.

Comment:
BFG GeForce GTX 275 OverClocked 896MB - SLI Ready I'm not extreamely tech savy. The ptoduct does just fine. I run Fallout3 With all bells and whistels and it works just fine. Alot of people complained that it was too big, well it is big...so what. If you bought it before having a clue..oh well. Don't try a mini tower, it won't fit, I have a full tower.
