Basic aftermarket cooler to help quieten down our PCs. They work fine and keep reasonable temps for IB CPUs. Being a budget cooler, I don't expect the moon of it, and if I actually was concerned about bringing temps down, I'd likely get something a bit heftier.It works though, looks decent, and keeps things quieter.

Imho best budget cooler on market. slams my a50 it replaced and i can run dual fan configs on it run my 3770k t 4.8 with good temps under load cant complain really

It kept my friends i5 3570k at 4.2ghz 1.23v at 70c max temps. not bad for a 30 dollar heatsink. a bit on the loud side though

I bought this to replace the loud stock fan for my AMD FX 8150. This is a huge improvement and has made my new PC build the quietest I've had yet.

If you are looking to get the best bang for your buck, go with this one. It is really good for the price, and if you're looking for low to moderate overclock this would do well.

This thing is huge! But I guess that if you want cool heat dissipation power without resorting to space age materials... You need a little metal to air surface.Have baught more then 1 of these... And returning for more.

Great performance & price. Looks awesome if you have a windowed case. Easy to set up even for beginners. The fan is super quite, running at about 700 RPM controlled by the Asus Onboard EPU motherboard feature. I don't overclock so I can't comment on that aspect but I get about 34C under normal use.

Nice CPU cooler Keeps Phenom II x4 965 cool with a 3.8GHz OC, Can OC to around 4GHz but I am not very good with OC.

Though it will work with Corsair Vengeance RAM, I would recommend putting the cooler in first and not using 4 sticks of Vengeance.

For my i5 LGA1155 this was a very good choice - good quality, effective cooler for moderate OC, and fairly simple to install.

Great fan for only 35$. It keeps my CPU running really cool at idle. But the fan is really loud, and doesn't seem to ever go lower than 1500RPM. Even at idle the fan is super loud, if you have a case with a lot of dust filters or holes near the rear and top (HAF 912). Overall, it's not bad, but the back plate was a bit difficult to install at first.

Buying this only means you don't want any noise from the stock fan that comes with your CPU. Yeah it's quiet... but it leaves something to be longed for in the cooling department. Then again, it is already pretty cheap so no big loss.There is more copper contact with this heatsink over the 212+, so it's definitely worth the few extra bucks there.

Effective heatsink keeping i3570k at around 33C on idle, around 69C on full load. Quiet fan in my opinion. Has the kit and option of installing a second fan on heatsink. Includes thermal compound but didn't use it. Not sure if I installed it properly but after securing the heatsink on the motherboard, I can still slightly wiggle it on top of the cpu.

My Core i7 930 stock fan idles at 40-50 degC and runs at 90-100 deg C under full load. After installing Hyper 212 Evo I noticed a big difference in the temperatures. My new idling temperature ranges from 30-40 degC and 50-60 degC under full load (which is below the rated max. CPU temperature).I'd highly recommend considering this cooler as not only will it improve your performance, but it's not that pricey!

I bought this to replace a stock cooler, temps went down by about 15c on med-heavy load. nice and quiet. i might replace the fan with a set of 2 that move a bit more air and put them in a push pull config.

This is a great little ...well... I should say fairly large, cooler. I didn't have any problems installing this and am by no means even close to a "pro" at this. One thing I did find was that the fan vibrates the HS quite a bit, so much so that sometimes I can hear it rattling the clear insert  of my 600T case.
