COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:-Comes with only 1 fan-I found it a bit hard to install and after it was seated, it looks kind of tilted-Poor quality of thermal compound but I guess that's a given
Pros:-Very good performance for the price-Good air flow and not too noisy with R4 fans at 1150 RPM Comment:
For it's price, you won't find anything better than this. I lowered my CPU temperature by at least 12C, definitely worth its price. |

Bought this to replace my stock Phenom II x2 555 BE. After unlocking an extra core, my average temp was 42 C. After installing this cooler, idle temp went down to 30 C. This cooler also is cooling my overclocked 555 up to 3800 mhz at an idle of 30 with the one unlocked core.BUY BUY BUY |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Absolutely none!
Pros:-Great Cooling -Small Compared to last one-Cheap Comment:
This keep my E5400 l2.7GHz overclocked to 3.798GHz at 40 degrees celcius at full load! I got it for $31.45 including taxes so it's even more amazing. For the 40 degrees, I used Arctic Silver 5 for a thermal paste, even though the cooler came with it's own stuff. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:- Stock fan a little loud at full speed.
Pros:- Low cost/performance Comment:
For AMD Phehom II X4 955 BE owner, this is a good alternative to stock cooler (no overclock).I had an Arctic Cooler Freezer Xtreme Rev 2, but changed for this cooler. Decrease my temp by 3 celsius (intalled today) ... But now the heatseek make full contact with my CPU (AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE). The Arctic Cooler Freezer Xtreme Rev 2 had a realy small contact with the CPU. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Imo, fan is a bit loud when at max rpm.
Pros:Price to performance. Keeps my i5 760 w 4 Ghz below 64 degree celcius while running prime95. Ambient temp was around 22-24 degree celcius. Easy to install. Comment:
Excellent purchase, especially at $30. Many places sell it for a much higher price. Can't go wrong purchasing one of these. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-01-10 09:50 AM |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Screwing everything in is annoying when you have to take everything apart, installation is roughly 2hours (not including breaks). Directions are in black and white and not very clear. Included thermal paste is not recommended use AS5 or MX3.
Pros:Brought an LGA775 that was running at 65C to about 43C idle. Very satisfied but would not purchase again. Comment:
All in all its alright for the price/performance it beats the competition. But if I could afford it I would of gone with something better. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Comes with only 1 fan
Pros:CheapDecent install system Comment:
For under $30, the CM 212 is a cooler known by all and one of the best for its price. For what it offers, is a great cooler that excels at cooling your CPU, stock/OC better than the stock cooler that is offered by AMD/Intel.Other coolers in the market do cost more and can be very close in performance. The Cm 212 do come with clips to add a 2nd fan, for your Push/Pull config. If you want a decent cooler, without the high end price. This is the best solution for ya. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:-none
Pros:-cheap (in a good way), great value-quiet-does its job Comment:
Why go with expensive 40-50 dollar hsf solutions when you can get the same cooling performance for a fraction of the cost (give or take a degree or two)? I've slapped this baby on my e8400 overclocked to 3.8ghz and it doesn't even sweat. Certainly beats stock any day! And heck, at this price, it's a no brainer! |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:quite tall
Pros:very efficient Comment:
I use this cooler for a phenom II 955, it does the job very well. With stock cooler, temps are around 43C idle. With this hyper 212+, temps are just around 37C idel. This cooler is quite tall though, it JUST fit in my apex vortex 3620 case, the heatpipes are 2-3mm away from touching the side panel. If you have a small case, check before you buy. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:nothing really
Pros:cheap, decent looking, 4 heat pipes, dual 120mm fans, seems to work with ne 120mm fan. Comment:
bought this cooler to replace my vendetta 2. this cooler can be oriented in both directions when mounted on an am2 or am3 board, air blowing horizontally and vertically, whereas the vendetta i had could only blow vertically. the fans are mounted with screws onto a plastic bracket rather than fan clips, so basically ne 120mm sized fan mount would work. no problems clearing my ram, but if ur ram heatsinks were tall, clearance might be an issue. 35 degrees on stock amd 955, 26 degrees room temp. overall, pretty good cooler. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Installation involves removing the motherboard to install a bracket underneath which is time consuming.
Pros:Runs nice and quiet and very cool under any load. Very good heatsink for the price. Comment:
I installed this for the following setup:CPU: Intel Core i5 CPU (Lynnfield)Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D LE LGA1156Case: Lian Li PC-A05NBThe case is a smaller form factor than most other standard ATX cases and is known to run at higher temperatures compared to a standard size ATX case. With the stock Intel heatsink, I was running just under 40C idle and over 90C under heavy load!!After installing the Cooler Master heatsink, my idle temperature dropped to under 30C and under heavy load, the temperature is now around 50C. Huge difference!!I installed the heatsink with the single fan provided. The fan runs very silent most of the time, other than on heavy load where you can hear it but still not very loud. I am very pleased with the heatsink as it has effectively solved my CPU heat issues while keeping fan noise down. Coupled with a relatively low price point, I wholeheartedly recommend this heatsink! |
