COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Comment:
Low cost heatsink for the performance. Installation was simple sufficient (hooray for the cpu cutaway in my situation). Temps never ever got above 58c when running Prime95 (temps hit 80 really promptly on the stock cooler) Only comes with 1 fan, although adding a second fan is fairly affordable. Didn't truly get this by means of newegg, it was given to me by a friend who's situation was too little to accomodate a skyscraper-style cooler (food for thought when you acquire your subsequent case). Nonetheless this is going to be my wife's pc when I create a new one in a couple of months, so I could purchase yet another for myself.

Cons:None

Pros:Very QuietCheapEasy to Install
Comment:
I purchased this over the summer because my stock AMD cooler was running as loud as an air plane. Overall this pretty much dropped my 74 degrees CPU down to... 35 degrees under load? I don't know why it is so low or if this is even safe but.. that's what it says. Great cooler, great price, would definitely recommend to a friend

3 hours in now to operating overdrive stability test, prime95 burn test, converting 700+ GB of HD video, listening to itunes, downloading three motion pictures, and surfing the internet (plus currently writting this evaluation.) and my cpu temp is 42*C (core temp of 36*C). This cooler is installed on a amdPhenom IIx6 T1090 BE overclocked to 4.2GHz.My idle temp is 21.5*C (thats with all cores nonetheless active)seriously what more is there to say? purchase a single! I hate to place a con on here... but it is genuinely major..... took some creativity (and alot of swearing) to fit in my situation but it did without having any modification to it or the situation so i wont get rid of an egg. (would have been my fault anyway for not checking the dimensions if it didnt fit). If your case can acomadate its size, acquire it!

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Nothing really given the price of $19.99. Might like to try Noctua fans to see if they make any significant improvement re: cooling.

Pros:Way better than a stock cooler at keeping temps down.Love the fan clips and how they install on the cooler fins.
Comment:
Good job Coolermaster! Love the enclosed backplate, fan clips, spring mounted bolts and even the tiny nut tool. Thanks too for the thermal paste, extra fan clips, vibration pads and screws. Coolermaster's attention to detail has payback in my books.

Comment:
*Super low cost for a wonderful cooler!*PWM fan keeps it cool and quiet*Setup makes it possible for for a push/pull configuration, yielding even higher airflow and cooling *Came with a noisy (defective?) fan, which makes a sort of clicking noise. I have contacted Cooler Master with a aspect request and I'm waiting for a response.*Harder than it really should be to install. Simply because this heatsink utilizes a universal mount, it is difficult to know when you've got your CPU mounted properly. The only way to be certain is to remount it a handful of instances till you find the lowest temperatures.*Instructions are super unclear.*Direct get in touch with heatpipes are a good idea, but they also mean that you have to use more thermal paste to get a solid connection. COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:A little difficult to install

Pros:Good coolingThe fan is quietVery affordable
Comment:
It's a very good heatsink that keeps my i5-3570K cool at idle and warm under load. In a prime95 torture test, the hottest core's temp was 60 C and all four cores were running at 4100 Mhz for 30 minutes. And that was on a hot day. The instructions could have been more detailed and clear. I found it a bit difficult to install on first use. It's tall but it can easily fit inside my Antec 302 case. I may add a second fan on it in the future.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Not suitable for overclocked ivy bridge CPU's (4.3-4.5+)

Pros:Excellent priceDecent air cooling
Comment:
The high price-performance warrants the purchase of this air-cooler. It's one of the main reasons why people go for this cooler, as it's cheap, and keeps your CPU's hot temperatures at bay - most of the time** If you're going for an Ivy Bridge CPU, and thinking of overclocking, this cooler *may* hinder your goal of reaching your max achievable OC, that's assuming your ambitious, of-course..

Adore the size of this point. Could look huge but once it is installed it is smaller than you assume it was prior to! 120mm fan keeps it good and cooled and the heatsinks are mounted correct to the cpu so it stays unload! None!

Strapped this cooler onto my overclocked 1100t x6 and my temp hasn't gone over 30 degrees Celsius considering that, even below load. I'm writing this @ 28 degrees. Installation was...exciting. Not difficult, just intriguing. Comes with back plate and thermal paste. This issue is Massive. Pretty much touches the side of my casing. If I want I can strap a 2nd fan onto the heat sink, which is just great.I didn't even have to take my mb out of my situation. Practically nothing. Only comes with one particular fan, and it isn't like I Need to have the 2nd fan, but I do want 1. There seems to be a lot of choice. I guess a con could be that my mb only has 1 four-pin cpu fan socket, but there are adapters for that, or you can just go with a 3-pin fan. I personally like the fan control feature supplied by the 4th pin. I would completely suggest and I would acquire one more.

Comment:
The value is cheap, the value is high. I'm employing I7-960 and it comes with a stock cooler from Intel, so I tried it very first, just for the sake of comparison. The running temperature was 40, and there was a very slight noise from the fan. I installed the CM Hyper 212 a couple of days later and the temperature dropped to 28, and is considerably quieter. The installation is a small tricky, but if you've carried out it once you will under no circumstances have an additional dilemma with future installations, and it really should only take five or ten minutes.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Comment:
Keeps the CPU (Sandy 2500K) nice and awesome, quiet fan, simple set up (at least on a new build) just before the motherboard is installed. Has almost everything needed to install in the box, like the thermal grease. Big size, achievable problem with fit in smaller cases. In my instance, on an ASUS P8P67 board, the cooler and fan just barely (probably much less than two mm) clears the cooling fins on a GSkill Ripjaws Series (Item#: N82E16820231311) in the closest memory slot. The height in a CoolerMaster 690II is sufficient for this cooler and motherboard combination. From my investigation it appears that the Sandy Bridge processors (oven overclocked) can get by with just air cooling so this may well be the ideal buy for these processors.

Great cooler for $30, keeps my phenom ii 955be 28-30c idle and never hits higher than 40c load (3.2ghz and 4.0ghz).Installation was a complete breeze took me a combined 40ish minutes (teardown/rebuild), but honestly a good 10-15 were caused by confusion of the useless installation page it comes with.Tempted to make the size a con because this thing is a MONSTER. But I knew exactly what I was buying at no fault but my own.

Overall I am happy with this cooler. It is my first ever aftermarket cooler. Initially it took time to understand the instructions and assemble/set up the cooler. Luckily my case has an opening for the back plate so its not too much strain on my motherboard. Its quiet for the stock fan, but its still pretty audible. I am sure it will be much more better non Coolermaster fans.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:none

Pros:Awesome cooling, amazingly priced, blows stock cooling out of the water.
Comment:
I have used this cooler on several customer systems who wanted to upgrade from the stock heatsink. This puppy does an amazing job. In most systems, the idle CPU temps will drop  6-10 degrees, and the load temps will drop  10-18 degrees. This is the best bang for the buck cooler you can buy. Price matching this cooler to 20 bucks is a steal. I have used 60 dollar coolers which offer no better cooling than the Hyper 212. I highly recommend it.
