Comment:
Affordable and rock solid! Direct heatpipe speak to. Quite universal install. Major. Absolutely absolutely nothing!! This monster rocks! This thing is larger than it looks in the video/provided pictures. I replaced the stock heatsink/fan that came with my AMD Phenom II x4. OC'd at 3.91 GHz. With the stock heatsink/fan, ㅡC idle, 61+ below load (prime95) for about 20 mins. Now, 33C idle; tops out at 51C under load using prime95 run for more than 1hour! You will not have a issue fitting this into a full-size ATX case. Mid-ATX will be really tight, but you may get lucky. Measure just before ordering!!. Micro-ATX....don't even feel about it!!My rig:AMD Deneb PH II X4 965 three.4G, OC'd three.91GMB ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3HD 500G WD 7K 16M SATA22Gx2 GSKILL F3-16000CL9D-4GBRMDVD BURNER LITE-ON IHAS-324-98BPSU CORSAIR 600W CX600 CMPSU-600CXCASE CoolerMaster RC-310-BWN1-GP Mid-ATX |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:a little tricky to install at first, well, for me personally. I'd recommend watching a video on YT if you're stuck.
Pros:- cheap- not too big- not too loud- dropped temps a whole 12c. my i3-2100 was ideling around 42c now its around 30c. good replacement for the very poorly designed , loud stock intel cooler. - it comes with its own thermal paste Comment:
Very good, cheap, not too big ( fit in Storm Enforcer ) and has good temps for the price. 5/5 for me. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Could get in the way of swapping out RAM on some smaller mobos.
Pros:Heat pipe direct contact is definitely the way to go for air cooling. Comment:
HUGE. I mean, HUGE. I thought the main cooling boosts in the reviews I read were 'cause of the direct contact heat pipes. I didn't realize that this thing could fill the top half an Antec 300. But it's also AMAZING. I put in a Phenom II x4 965, and overclocked it from 3.4GHz to 4.2GHZ, with a bump of the CPU voltage to 1.475V. With a fan on each side, both sucking air through towards the 140mm fan on top of the Antec 300, the CPU didn't go over 47 degrees at load for over an hour. Unless you can find a hydro cooler that claims better temperatures and doesn't cost $40 to $50 more, (or unless you've got a case that's smaller) I would definitely buy this. |

Cons:Instructions
Pros:Awesome cooling, Price Comment:
The instructions included in the box is really lacking. It's just some images. It's best to find instructions on the internet somewhere. Other than that, it's all good. |

Cons:a bit complicated to install but worked well
Pros:large silent fanvery efficientcan add a 2nd fan if needed Comment:
Was fairly complicated to install on the motherboard but haven't had any issues afterwards. Glad it fit in my case as it's very tall with the 120 mm fan. I do like how it has the option to install a 2nd on the other side. |

Considering how cheap self contained watercooling setups are getting this might not be as great of a purchase, but this does the job for cheap. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Not the coolest cooler
Pros:QuietDirect pipe contactGood mounting system Comment:
Great cooler, despite its low cost. My Phenom II X3 740 Unlocked to 4 cores hovers around 30C on stock voltage. It's never hot to the touch. Direct contact pipes makes it a very efficient cooler. |

Cons:None.
Pros:Awesome bang for your buck. Great cooling, low price, easy-ish to install. Comment:
I've used dozens of these in builds, and used one on my own system for a bit. Performs nearly as well as some of the more expensive CPU coolers that I've tried (CNPS10x Extreme, Scythe Mugen II, etc.) If you have an unlocked processor, don't hesitate to slap one of these in there and have some fun. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:Warranty sticker too close to fan blades.
Pros:Cooling power.The included kit. Comment:
Installed this on a micro-atx, 775 motherboard. I took a gamble buying it, since you can't return them for exchange. Installation took approx 40 minutes. The included adaptor is brilliant, the swiss army knife of adaptors. The included kit was a very nice touch, especially the thermal paste & thumb screw.Once installed this beast towers over the motherboard like a watch tower. Although it's about 3mm away from my ram sinks, clearance was alright. Cranked an intel e5200 from 2.5ghz to 3.45ghz & ran prime95 all night. With ambient temperatures 20c, under load max = 45c. So thats just where it needs to be. I would recommend screwing in a cross pattern & make sure everything is nice & tight because if even 1 screw is loose your in trouble. With the option to put another 120mm fan, should the need justify it & its compatability with various sockets this heatsink is a winner. Purchased additional unit for a friend. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Comment:
Wonderful cooler for my i7 870 O/C'ed to 3.6. with stock cooler and fan at 100%, idled at 52 deg. Run prime for much more than ten seconds and it was in the 100's. With this cooler, idles at 33ኂ and prime doesn't take it past 70 degrees. At 50% fan speed! For whatever reason, Cores 1 and three are consistently 6 degrees hotter at idle than 2 and 4. Applied arctic silver 5 paste in a vertical line as shown on internet site. The only explanation is the heatpipes aren't completely flat on the surface that contacts the processor. Not enough to knock an egg even though, still very affordable temperatures. Got it for 28 bux from a various retailer. Can't beat it! Sorry, NewEgg. |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:- big!!! (not a issue if you have space, major problem if you do)
Pros:- keeps the CPU cool!- can have two fans on for push pull (extra clips included)- excellent value! ($23!!!) Comment:
I bought this cooler as a replacement for my aging and dying Zalman cooler. It was super cheap ($23 pm'd), which was the primary reason I went for it. It was originally on my E8500 (3.8) keeping temps below 60deg, even after folding for long periods of time. Since then, I have put a QX9650 in my system (overclocked to 3.81) and it does a great job keeps temps at 60deg or below ALL the time (again, even after folding for long periods of time!).A second fan can easily be added for push pull, making it an even more effective cooler. One downside (if you can call it that) is that it is big (the ends of the heatpipes nearly touch the side panel of my P182!) Installing the heatsink also required my to dissemble my system to put the backplate on (slightly annoying, but this isn't really an issue with the cooler, more with the case), so it did take me a while to install.Overall, very satisfied! |

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 120mm sleeve CPU Cooler
Comment:
Low-cost. Tension tested my i7 950 system (just five runs) with Linpack and the core temps (all 8 threads) by no means went past 61C. With just a single fan. Ha! Plain seeking but unassuming. My CM 430 case and the affordable EVGA cool board maybe helping it. Plus no OC coz no require with the effective CPU.Idle temps are 32 - 37 as I type. Then once more, it only cools a CPU that gets three% load tops when surfing. |

Cons:Absolutely none!
Pros:Everything about this heatsink is a pro. Keeps my idle temps around 30 degrees celcius all the time. And I never have my temps go up above 50 degrees celcius even when playing battlefield 3 on max graphics for a few hours. Comment:
Keeps my temperatures very low all the time. Price for performance is incredible. If I were to recommend this to someone for their gaming system, I would definitely recommend this heat sink to them! |
