Looks cool, keeps my i7-950 at 37C at idle Loud! Sounds like my rig is going to take off! No PWM. I ordered two Arctic Cooling PWM fans (Item#: N82E16835186034) to replace the two Cooler Master fans that come installed on the heatsink. Hopefully this will reduce the sound. I also own the Cooler Master Hyper 212 which is a lot quieter and less costly.

Does the job, super quiet, great price tag, good quality and performance balance. - Does not appear genuinely excellent but better than the stock fanI have it on an AMD Phenom Black Edition II X6 Thuban 1100T three.3GHz and is operating all day at 2000 rpm it stays cold it is to significantly for this small 92mm-not excellent for overclocking, too substantially work!-Installation is somewhat complicated for one person-Buyer service is sad! I lost an anti vibration pad, and I ordered that much more than a week ago and no response, they made ??two stupid concernsŋ-description of the piece (you have it to describeƜ-why you want it? i requested simply because i need to have it! if you see the manual does not have number of parts just names! I had to get it on-line, NewEgg does not sell. maybe a high RPM fans

Asofar, I am testing the product as a replacement of my stock cpu fan. I am quite happy so far; it going beyond my expectations. Researching into it, I just bought it mainly because it looked like the very best bang for the buck, but since it wasn't *supposedly* specialized for a six-core I did not expect crazy numbers. Even so, with the stock cooler I got an average of 37 *C, with this, I get an average of 21*C with 18*C immediately after waking up from sleep (should be noticed i used arctic silver five) None asofar... we will see how it performs when I begin OC'ing with prime95 numbers :) AMD Phenom II X6 1090T *presently stock clocks*MSI 870A Fuzion G.Ability x Ripjaws 8GB 1600Corsair 750w PSUATi (Gigabyte) HD5770HT|Omega Striker 7.1

COOLER MASTER Hyper N 520 RR-920-N520-GP 92mm Sleeve CPU Cooler
Cons:splitter caused rpm misreads, minor issue(if at all)

Pros:Lower height, dual fans,
Comment:
With an intake fan on the side of the case I needed a lower profile fan, but still wanted it to be directional. The fan has lower height than most that have a similar design and still performs well.Using the Y-cable and connecting both fans to one connector caused an rpm flag upon boot, rpm would dip below acceptable default levels randomly. Easily remedied by connecting to separate connectors or disabling the RPM monitor as it's obviously caused by 2 fans being connected at once.

Installed on an AMD Athlon II x4 640 Propus OC'd to three.55Ghz. Brought my CPU temps on complete load down by 15c, on idle stays at a steady 27c and is very quiet. Applied Arctic Silver as an alternative of included thermal paste. Just fits in a Cooler Master Scout with the top rated side fan installed, and is about a mm away from touching the heat sinks built in on my DIMMs in the 1st slot. It was a bit awkward for me to hold the cooler in location as I began to secure the backplate and get the bolts on, but most most likely just my personal clumsiness. Keeps my 1090t 6 core cpu at a steady 29 degrees at idle.Have not tested it below a load however but I count on it will preserve points cool while below my motherboards supervision. Incredibly quiet. Looks considerably larger outside the case, doesn't look like it will fit in a mid-tower but there is a lot of space. NONE So uncomplicated to install a caveman could do it. Extremely uncomplicated install if you have half a brain. Don't let the horror stories fool you. Add some arctic silver five and you'll be chillin & grillin in no time.

It's really quiet, I can't even hear it until it spins up to 100%. I'm not overclocked, but it never ever spins up all the way unless I'm playing a game for a few minutes. Rediculous universal bracket demands 2 men and women to install. You have to stand your motherboard vertically and support the cooler although somebody else fastens the nuts. If they'd attached the threaded portion to the bottom bracket it'd be an simple 1 individual install.

NOTE: I've had this cpu cooler installed for about 12 hours now.Earlier today I replaced my zalman orb style cooler with this beastly Cooler Master Hyper N520AMD Phenom X4 9850With the zalman I'd common 40 idle and 70 max ( a bit high I know)As of now, a couple of hours right after installing this cooler master heat sink I'm down to 28-32 idle and no additional than 58 maxI played BF::BC2::Vietnam @ 1600x1050 for 4 hours with a cpu temp no larger than 55 degrees. Only 1 I can think of is that it is huge (which one particular should be totally conscious of prior to acquire)This truth doesn't bother me at all, as I have a larger Antec case.Kinda wish cooler master included an adapter to run it direct to the power supply, which is the way I'm running it as of suitable now. When my new mobo arrives, I'll make the call which way to run it with that. For the dollars, I don't think you can beat the overall performance. I have a new mobo coming later this week, when I install it, I plan on doing a entirely new/clean Arctic five job.

Keeps my Phenom II X4 around 35C below usual load, around 45C overclocked beneath high load. Looks sharp. None The instructions are a bit vague as to air-flow. Look at the fans and figure out the orientation that meets your setup ahead of you mount it due to the fact it is heavy and not the easiest to re-install.

Keeps my AMD Phenom II X4 three.2 GHz Processor (overclocked to 3.82GHz) at 30c Idle and 50c Full Load. I thought I'd be able to get to four.0GHz prior to finding close to the heat wall but I wasn't in a position to. I'll admit my OC expertise is low but I felt due to the size of the cooler and it's push pull configuration I would be able to maintain my processor cooler than it currently.I am nevertheless quite happy with it thought.

Very quiet even though supplying good airflow and cooling efficiency. My Phenom X4 9850 does not exceed 70c below heavy load. The dual 92mm fans are much less bulky than the 120mm models permitting use in Mid-ATX situations. Does not have grills on the fans so mind the cable placement.

Not as large as the massive boys with the 92mm fans instead of 120mm. This is a fantastic cooling remedy and these fans are nice and quiet. It looks very good as nicely, one particular buddy said an undressed V8. Set up was a snap. Um..I like my Artic Silver greater then what they gave. Cooling a Phenom II x3 740@ x4 3.3ghz. Proper now idling about 23-26c and hasnt pushed more than 40c regardless of hours of gaming. At this value point its amazing.

Looks, price tag wasn't negative. Looking forward to the cooling from two fans. Nowhere in the directions does it state which way the air flow will be until you turn it on. I guess I must have plugged it into MOBO prior to installation. I copied the drawing of the installed cooler from the directions utilizing the logo on the top rated to ascertain airflow and it was incorrect. I had to take the cooler off and turn it around. When I did that I located that a single of the mounting screws was stripped out. Amazing! I am going to RMA it. I would definitely energy it up to check the airflow direction prior to installation. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Client - We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The direction is shown on the bottom of the cooler on both fans. Even with mild more than-clocking it keeps my Phenom II 940 1 degree cooler than the motherboard temp! Appears to hold about 32C compared to 50ish with my old Thermal-Take Its a discomfort to set up in an existing Computer as you have to eliminate the motherboard to set up tts bottom plate. Not a dilemma at all if you are building from scratch although. Nonetheless its more than worth the work. Superb cooling for the cost and only slightly louder than my old Thermal-Take. Nevertheless plenty quiet sufficient for me. Its massive but fits my mid atx case. It might have problems with smaller cases as its tall. If your case has a side vent you will have to eliminate the plastic vent tube due to the height of this unit.

It didn't fry my processor... nonetheless running pretty cool at idle. Grrrr... The directions made it a tad annoying to assemble. I had to unscrew and eliminate my motherboard again soon after i realized that the heatsink was facing the incorrect way. It took entirely too lengthy. Then, immediately after waiting for the moment of truth soon after anything was plugged back in, i was rather dissapointed; my idle temps had risen 2 or 3 C from the stock phenom ii x2 555 cooler. Nevertheless only in the low 30s, but the fan is operating at top speed. Will rate again if i discover one thing incorrect with my setup, but suitable now incredibly dissapointing. It doesn't feel suitable to go back to my wimpy stock cooler following seeing this behemoth (in comparison). But that may have to occur.

Looks lovely, had a five star rating, uncomplicated to install, incredibly inexpensive, and it functions! See "other thoughts" I replaced a stock cpu cooler on a stock motherboard with this one particular. I didn't know that the stock plastic brackets were glued onto my motherboard, so I had to pry it off with a screwdriver. As soon as I did this, installation was a breeze. And apparently, my motherboard made it fine by way of the "surgery"
