Higher air flow to noise ratio Can't use as intake on mesh I bought four of these to use in my case.. I installed one particular as a intake on the bottom of my case and quickly identified it to have this annoying whine. I believed this was abnormal so I compared it to the other three fans by just turning them on outdoors the case.All 3 fans have been quiet and didn't have that whine. Could it be that the fourth fan was defective? I took it out of the case and turned it on once more... Turns out the whine disappears! I utilized a single of the other fans and replaced the fan inside the case.... voila! Whine sound turns back on.So it is the case that's causing the issue. The noise is produced when i hold the fan incredibly close to the mesh but not touching (rules out vibration). But if I flip the fan over so the fan acts as an exhaust.. the whine disappears.Conclusion: if you have a mesh grill for your fan, it will make a whiny noise if it is sucking air by way of that mesh. But if you are pushing air out, there is no noise. I'm guessing the higher air flow is causing the

Quiet, vibrant, moves air. Its not a functionality fan but it operates. seems a small weak. Got two to match my instances blue theme.

Nice Tiny Fan. Moves a lot of air. Noise level is tolerable and the LEDs aren't overbearing. Wasn't absolutely free... 2 set up as exhaust and two set up as intake they do rather nicely.

This fan delivers a high amount of blowing and cooling power. Keeps my pc really cool. would recommend if you want a cool pc but not if you want quiet.

These fans move a lot of air, and are silent for the most portion. No bearing issues. Hooked up 4 of them to a squid female molex adapter straight from the psu. Their humming nicely in my CM Stacker side fan brackets (no screws essential!). I turned them about to have the air blow out rather of in as per the cooling design and style of the case. Not really a con, but I wanted to note, the level of noise you hear is highly dependent on what objects are in the way of the air that is being pushed out of the fan. That's accurate for ANY fan. So before you assume the fan is to blame, ask yourself the easy question of what it is blowing through. I have 4 of them going by means of a plastic housing bracket, a mesh screen, and then the side door. So of course you're going to hear one thing from all the wind resistance. The overview title is the precise name of the fans. The blades are, "light-brown transparent fan blades for far better LED impact", as read from the box, not clear plastic. The LED's glow nicely, but are not the brightest out there. If you don't want to blind your self (or anybody else at the lan celebration) these are a excellent choice.

Perform well and can push air. It's not the quietest fan, and there are other fans on the market that can perform better. However, for its price, it is a good buy and I would recommend it to others and am willing to buy it again.

they are in my htpc the leds are not incredibly bright which is a great factor for the htpc didnt seriously believe a lot of the fans till i place then in ALOT superior then the stock ones dropped temps down 4c none not genuinely a con but the cords could be like two inches longer

Does just what it says, moves air. Nice and bright, purchased a batch, had no problems on LED's matching. New tower has a total of six of these in it correct now, three on intake, a single on exhaust, and two in push pull on CM 212. Has a good and healthier glow to complete case. lol none If making use of with a filter of some sort, these do get louder, even with a clean filter in location. I filter all intakes, and yes, it makes a huge difference on interior cleanliness, but you will get added air noise.

quite quiet fan,,purchased 2 of these for my antec twelve hundred case. one for the door panel and one particular i put on my cooler master v8 to replace the original without having any blue led lights. fantastic fans at a fantastic price. none!!! they seriously do place off a incredibly cool hunting blue led impact. very satisfied with the cooler master stuff. components are constructed to final. the blue is a great color for inside the case.

Move a lot of air.Stealth, all black looking till lit up. when lit up, led's look very good and properly defined on the spinning blades, tends to make a very good vortex appear. Not loud, but not quiet either. I purchased four of these fans for my case and have had troubles so far with any of them. I hope it stays that way and none of them fail over time like they look prone to doing from other's testimonials.

The are Incredibly Cool, they work well, i just don't like the sound they make. I was used to have REALLY quiet fans, but i'm really happy of my purchase.

Pretty lights don't make a good fan. I put gelids in my build, they don't do anything but quietly and efficiently cool my system...for over 3 years

Surprisingly quiet. Challenging drive temps are down huge time. My hottest drive is down from 41 to 34. My other drives are at 31 and 29. My CPU temp is down from 33 to 28. The holes for the screws aren't threaded. This wasn't a dilemma for the aux fan as that was in a handy place. For the intake fan on the front even though it was a genuine struggle. I purchased these to replace a couple of aging fans in my case. I wanted one thing highly effective that wouldn't be louder. These had been both much more highly effective, but also substantially quieter than the ones they had been replacing.

Bought these for my Coolermaster Cosmos II case ( http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=67337&vpn=RC-1200-KKN1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER )- problem is at full speed they are EXTREMELY loud.I tried to use the cases front fan controls to put on "low" speed setting - and they air less noisy, but make a very annoying "tick-tick-tick....." sound that is just as bad as the loud setting - so going to try some different fans :(I WOULD NOT recommend these in for a computer in an area where noise is an issue

Overall works great. Had trouble installing it but overall it moves a TON of air and is not too bad sound-wise, though is loud at 2000 RPM.

Quite nice looking LED, and it does move a TON of air. Efficiency wise, you will like this fan very considerably! Does have a small bit of nose, but nothing unbearable. I'm either playing games, on teamspeak, or listening to music, so I don't hear it most of the time -none- Make an exact version of this in 140mm size

I use these on every build unless the person asks for a silent build. These are a one of the noisier 120mm fans you can get, but at that price who is really going to complain?
