Comment:
Awesome fan, works fantastic for my Cooler Master Centurion 590 case on the back side facing the reverse side of the Mobo's CPU socket. Helps retain temps low, nevertheless have but to get beyond 40 C at room temp overclocking my I7 930 @ three.6Ghz! None Previously wrote a overview on a different fan for this certain application, similar MFG incorrect Model #. I goofed, incorrect fan model it was this 1. I bear in mind due to the fact it didn't take a standard 80 X 80 X 25mm. It had to Be a 80 X 80 X 15mm (this 1). Sorry about the mix up.

Modest, powerful, and installed simply. No vibration or noise noticeable. Excellent airflow. Wire length excellent. Fits the CM 690 II advance case completely on suitable side, as this side requires an 80X80X15mm fan. (most other 80mm fans are 80X80X25, which will not fit). Sturdy and slim. Undertaking it's job.....what additional can be stated? Difficult to find. Had to wait more than a month for newegg to get a resupply of these fans....but was worth it, and not neweggs fault. They notified me instantaneously upon getting a shipment, utilizing their auto notify technique. Thanks newegg. Looked at many other tends to make in the 80X80X15 size...but all showed a significantly greater noise level. Cooler Master got it right with this small fan!

I necessary a fan that would fit in an irregular PSU that was built into my laptop case. The fan died, but the owner did not want to replace the laptop case. All other 80 mm fans were as well thick to match in the PSU. Ordered one particular of these and it worked like a charm! Good and quiet and moves enough air to hold the power provide cool! none. Great specialty fan for that tight spot!

- Perfect for the VGA card holder of the HAF X case that calls for a 80x15mm fan.- Very quiet for a fan operating more than 2000 rpm.- Great airflow. - None i can see so far. - 80x25mm fan are everywhere but 80x15mm fan are a little tough to discover and this one particular is the most difficult to come across of all. Newegg was the only place exactly where i could uncover this fan on the net. (Good point for them!)

Purchased it on the factory ratings, but..... It failed to start out spinning at the acceptable time (yes, it is a DOA). I blame the factory worker that tested it. Good unit, but wished it had spun so I could give a small a lot more flow to my cube case. Depending on which way you mount it, you may well get interferance (not connected with it not operating) if utilised as a puller. Possibly they will send an additional??????

Fan operates excellent. Extremely quiet. Doesnt move as substantially air as I expected. But im runnin three as exhaust from my HTPC so they get the job done. Operating with two 92mm intake fans I can feel a descent quantity of air comming threw other vents in the case so the two 92mm fans are alot additional air than the 3 80mm fans. All in all they get the job accomplished and are close to silent so no need to deduct any eggs or something.

Fits in a Cooler Master CM690 (only after some modification) Had to purchase a hack-saw to cut two notches in order to fit the fan in the place behind the motherboard. Don't know why the business changed the design and style considering that the old version would function in each the CM690 and CM690 II. -Fits in my CM 690 2 Advanced-keeps my Mainboard and CPU cooler-Relatively quiet -tricky to discover- -Not sure if this fan will final extended. I noticed some wetness coming from the fan itself and it feels like bearing oil. No difficulties but, but I may possibly have to return it if it keeps leaking.

Low cost, low profile, moves air louder than expected I place these in a household server, that is extremely low power, and demands minimal cooling, and so I'm attempting to make it silent. These had been a little louder than I was hoping for. I have them running at much less than 12v to preserve them quieter

Comment:
Quiet at complete speed. I can't hear it more than the three CM690 case fans, the A50 CPU fan or the 2 HD5870 fans. Drops CPU and NB temps by 4 deg. Hopefully new 140mm fans will lower the temps even additional. In spite of the beautiful image displaying hollow corners, mine had complete corners. This meant it would not slip in to the holders and could not be clamped down in my CM690 situation.Had to use a hack saw blade to cut slots in the corners.Fit nicely right after that but what a discomfort to have to do.Package model# clearly matches the model# here and the package says 'Recommended for CM690' Great price. Removed two eggs for having to modify and 1 for brief leads.

Quiet, Fits, and Cools! It dropped my CPU and Temp1 down eight degrees. Temp1 normally runs hotter than the CPU and is placed beneath it, which makes it really tricky to cool, but this fan is constructed for just that. None

Fits the rear mount of my Cooler Master 690 situation perfectly. Quieter than the fan it replaced, but rated for similar CFM. Good appearance. Includes three pin to molex adapter and the wiring is long sufficient to reach about the mobo plate easily. Wonderful price tag. None, which is a nice modify of pace. Ideal for the Cooler Master circumstances and quiet. Significantly nicer than the dying fan it replaced.

COOLER MASTER R4-SPS-20AK-GP Case Fan
Comment:
Yes it is silent. It moves too small air - you can barely really feel any flow from this fan. I was hoping the greater blade count would mean something - unfortunately, it turns also slowly to genuinely utilize 11 blades! They want a model that run 3000 - 4000 RPM - then possibly this fan would commence performing! Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer - We apologize for any inconvenience. Please make positive that when the fan is plugged into the motherboard that is set up to run at a faster rate. The fan can go up to 2000RPM, at that speed, it will present the 69 CFM it is listed for. If you have any queries concerning the fan or require a replacement, please speak to us via the Live chat link beneath. Respectfully - CMUSA Buyer Assistance.External Hyperlink(s): Reside Chat|

COOLER MASTER R4-SPS-20AK-GP Case Fan
Comment:
It spins and moves air pretty quietly. This fan was purchaced as a replacement for one that is failing (different brand). I own three of the older CM690 cases. As noted by a prior reviewer, the fan I received has strong corners. I will have to notch the corners to make it fit the bracket that attaches the fan to the back of the motherboard tray. Cooler Master has clearly changed the style of this fan, or there are several versions. Current images on both the Cooler Master and Newegg web sites show hollow corners. The edge-on photo on Newegg appears to show a valley all the way around the fan, but that's not consistent with the other images. Photos of the newer CM690 II 黴) case show that the Back-of-the-CPU fan attaches to the door rather than the motherboard tray. Solid corners are not a difficulties with that variety of mounting. Cooler Master markets this fan as "Recommended for CM690". I won't deduct any eggs due to the fact the fan operates, but Cooler Master lost many points for ignoring all the owners of the older CM690 situations with this style change.

Nothing Loud (at least in my CM690 case in the behind the CPU spot), literally doubled the fan noise from my case which means it matched my 3 other 120mm fans in noise and it makes a wining motor sound if you're close to it. Maybe it's the small region in the case making more air noise or perhaps its a bad motor, but either way it got unplugged soon after a couple hours. And a lot more importantly temps didn't modify AT ALL. I expected at least a couple degrees with it becoming behing the CPU mount but I guess the case is currently incredibly properly ventilated. So generally it did neither of the items I bought it for: silence and cooling. Also, it's produced out of some unique type of plastic than every other fan I've ever bought. It's tougher and I was unable to screw in the screws I had all the way (screws that operate in all my other fans). Save your cash or invest it on yet another 120려mm fan. No wonder they don't contain these with the circumstances.

It isn't loud at all and it appears to be moving a lot of air. It also dropped my cpu temps by 7c. Didn't come with candy. If you bought this for a CM 690 and you are asking yourself how the heck to get it on the back like I was... You just unscrew the small bracket and flip it about. There will be little metal tabs that line up with the screw holes on the fan. Just clamp the bracket onto the fan and screw the bracket back onto the back panel. Don't be concerned about it vibrating or moving the back panel will maintain it snug.
