Purchased four of these to go on some Opteron 270s. The cpu cores have however to go above 50c in spite of getting in a warm room.Pretty quiet, can't actually be heard more than the PSU fans (of course, the energy supply fans are two tiny 40mm fans trying to move the very same amount of air as a a lot bigger fan so they are pretty loud.)Cheap, pretty a lot the main reason I purchased them.Lots of thermal paste. Generally I'd just use Arctic Silver five, but for the servers I'm utilizing them for I attempted to get as low-cost as achievable. Utilized the tube from 1 heatsink to apply all four and still have some left over. Just a few minor things -Wants to clip on to the plastic retention bracket which the motherboard didn't have, doesn't come with a bolt by means of kit so I ended up having to improvise one thing. Not CMs fault although.Mounting for the fan. The plastic clip for the fan doesn't hold the fan flush with the side of the heatsink so there's a gap a handful of millimeters wide involving the fan and side of the heatsink. some air flow is lost by means of this gap just before it even passes over the fins. I can't genuinely take any eggs off for the cons. They were each tiny and the heatsink came as advertised, mounts on a s940 motherboard and able to manage a cpu with a 95w TDP. Would advocate this for someone who needs a affordable heatsink, even as just a back up.

It does what its supposed to. I have a phenom ii 955 and the stock heatsink/fan was loud as hell. This cools slightly much better and is Substantially quieter. Idle temps remained the same, about 30C. Prime95 load temps went down from 55C to 50C. I only purchased this for sound reduction, so obtaining a 5C temp drop is a bonus. The bottom plate doesnt totally cover the CPU. I dont actually like this considering that the corners of the CPU (which have a bit of smeared thermal paste on them) will now collect dust, but its not a massive deal I guess. Totally worth 15 bucks if your laptop or computer is loud as heck. Its not silent by any indicates, but it beats AMD's cpu cooler. If you're hunting to overclock although, you surely need a higher finish cooler.

Pros:-Compact-Low energy fan-Easy to install

For the price, this is an excellent buy. Much more efficient than the stock heat sink, if you want a standard heatsink and do not overclock too much, this is perfect.

Straightforward to place on (the AM2+ socket at least), cools nicely, low-cost. Sleeve bearing fan The stock cooler that had come with my retail Athlon X2 64 was operating so poorly that I was unable to use my pc in the course of the warmer portions of the day. Having really weak air conditioning signifies that at times my residence gets up to around 80°F. When temperatures had been that warm my CPU would go above 60°C at idle. I got tired of becoming banned from the desktop although it was hot and purchased this puppy. Now my CPU temps are about 49°C at idle when the property is hot. When the residence is cool like a typical residence my idle is about 42°C with complete load getting 49°C.

With Cool'n'Quiet and sensible fan control (my motherboard can slow down this three-pin fan which typically does NOT assistance speed handle), it only requirements to spin a silent 1,000RPM to maintain a Sempron 140 cool.Mounting technique permits the fan to point any of 4 directions. Really tall. If your CPU is placed on your motherboard too far forward and your situation is not quite deep front-to-back, it might hit your difficult drive. On the other hand for most situation/motherboard combinations this shouldn't be a difficulty.Lower block does not entirely cover the CPU -- some exposure on all edges. However this does not appear to influence CPU temperature. The clamp is awfully bendy when installing, but didn't break. Fairly content with it, thinking of obtaining another for yet another Computer.

Performs effectively for price, temps on an FXኘ 939 were 40C idle, I have not stressed tested it but mainly because i do not care on such an old system. Much much more quiet than the stock cooler which i used from a amd 720 3core If not for just a spare pc i consider this is a tiny under powered If you don't care about overclocking it operates very good adequate ,if you do invest a small additional for better cooling

Comment:
Smaller - fit very easily in my NZXT Hades midtower situation devoid of obtaining to eliminate side fan.Quiet - considerably quieter than the stock coolerComes with fan pre-attached and contains added brackets to attach a 2nd 80mm fan for push/pull configuration. Brackets are simpler to deal with than these awful wire clips on some coolers.Shiny silver top with cooler master logo looks nice.Budget-friendly. Doesn't move as significantly air as larger finish coolers. If you're operating with restricted space and aren't looking to do an extreme overclock than I'd extremely suggest this cooler.

Keeps My technique about 10 degrees cooler than the stock AMD cooler, and is just a tiny quieter. No challenge with the size interfering with RAM. Somewhat tougher to install than I expected, and not rather as quiet as I hoped. Very good value for the cost. I recommend it over a stock cooler for any multi-core CPU. My system: AMD quad core CPU, MSI motherboard.

fantastic price tag for hdt cooler, looked successful I got one particular that had some bent fins, mounting base was quite rough, could have been honed down better. gaps amongst heatpipes and aluminum base. only 3 wires for fan, bummer. You get what you pay for, and I am confident that this would have performed an ok job. I might have recieved on that was a lemon, so I sent it back. I may well have kept it if the had applied a variable speed fan even if they charged Ū or whatever a lot more for the product

COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
Comment:
Keeps a relatively hefty dual core CPU substantially cooler than a stock cooler would inside of a pretty stagnant case. Also, it comes with a Full TUBE of thermal grease. Not a lame pouch or a lame thermal pad. There are about five or six CPU's worth in there. When positioned with the fan blowing towards the back of the case, there are only a couple of millimeters of space among the fan and the RAM. It might be a lot more or less on other motherboards, but it produced me nervous when I was installing. On the other hand, since it did not hinder the positioning of something, the rating remains unblemished. Incredibly fantastic efficiency for the price range.

COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
Comment:
Outstanding (and strong) construction excellent, clever style, strong 939뭄/AM2/AM3 clip, aggressive cooling, can operate pointed vertically or horizontally with one particular or two fans (hardware included for a second 80mm fan), great thermal paste (enough of it for various other installations), and thorough installation directions in as several languages as you can name in ten seconds. A sleeve bearing fan, but it's barely enough to merit a complaint at this cost level (see other thoughts). I'm fairly picky with computer system components. I required a better cooling resolution for seven servers with Opteron 1220SE processors, which had been running at about 55C under load. So I ordered this and the Ŭ.99 Cooler Master SAF-B82-E1 ball-bearing fan (N82E16811999069) to replace the sleeve-bearing fan. This tiny puppy dropped temperatures down to about 40C on the initially server, so I'm ordering six a lot more coolers and eight fans (extras can't hurt). Dilemma solved. It's just fantastic to find well-developed items like this.

Fantastic cooler - it can be positioned in any direction on an AMD program. It very easily fit inside of my Rosewill Destroyer mid tower, so any case with a related width should perform fine. I installed mine to blow more than the mosfet heatsink and towards the rear exhaust of the case. Pretty quiet - I can't hear it more than some of my louder case fans. Comes with a 3 pin MB connector - not PWM but you can nonetheless adjust the speed down from the BIOS settings. None at all. Fits fantastic on ASROCK 870 motherboard. Please note the fan blows **towards** the heatsink so be conscious of this when installing. Still had a lot of clearance for 1st RAM slot on this motherboard. If installed to blow air towards back of case, the fan will be on the other side of the CPU close to the RAM slots.

Comes with a massive, quiet running fan (compared to AMD stock fans). I identified it quite simple to set up. Not overly large. Genuinely, none. See other thoughts. Be positive this is sufficient to cool your specific CPU. I feel it is only rated up to 95 Watts, so you almost certainly need to have to appear elsewhere if you have a 125 Watt CPU. Also don't go too crazy with the thermal grease. Just a extremely thin layer fully covering the surface is adequate.

So far its great.Quit seams to do its job. It could have 4 wires for fan speed seting, i didnt know the distinction. Its a little tricky to get on at very first. This was my first am3 install. The bracket is flimsy. Wonderful deal for 20 bucks.I went with new egg rush order deal for Ū,99 it didnt get there any more quickly,i ordered it on a thursday it didnt get there till monday. If you get the rush deal order it early in the week it may well aid.Not late in the week.

Excellent cooler and fan. It lowered the temperature of a X6 AMD CPU from 95 C to around 45 C. It also comes with heat sink paste. From now on I will be acquiring my CPU's with out any cooler and be will buying this Cooler rather. Would advise this one particular to everybody. It operates with each AMD and Intel. Had a lot of difficulty installing the lock down clamp. It slipped and took a chunk out of my small finger. The Directions included were really poor. I lastly figured it out how to do it. It saved me a bundle so I am buying 3 much more. I actually liked the fan pointing toward the back of the case. Placed yet another fan on the back which I also bought from Newegg.

-Way, WAY quieter than the stock AMD fan-Compatible with some Intel setups-Enhanced cooling, far better temps than stock-Looks quite boss-Includes thermal paste that works quite well-Has mounting bracket for second 80mm fan for push/pull setup-Low, low value -Sort of a discomfort to install the AMD bracket, but worked-Instructions are weak Newegg ships like a BOSS. Ordered friday, got right here tuesday with cost-free shipping. No places ship over weekends for cost-free, so I'm not faulting Newegg at all. They'll often have my enterprise.Install was type of a discomfort (I cursed a little), but worked truly properly when I got it on correctly. I'm just glad it didn't make me take my mobo out of my case. Darn very good cooler for the cost.

This cooler is genuinely fantastic plus its from cooler master which make great merchandise. I dont realize why individuals say this cant overclock due to the fact compared to the stock cooler on my x2 240, it is WAY better. I overclock .5ghz and load temp is 35c! thats seriously good thinking about i was obtaining 56c on stock cooler.... none It looks genuinely nice, i like the tower style specially if you have a sided case. I seriously recomend persons install dual fans on it because it actualy comes with free of charge adpaters for a second 80mm fan, i replaced both fans with led fan =)
