Operates like it's supposed to and doesn't cost a fortune. Heat spreaders are fantastic, but man these things stick out genuinely far. Good ram. Haven't tried OC'ing it but but so far so very good. Worked perfectly proper out of the box.

Quickly, created to final. none, been operating with this for about a year and a half. Look at your CPU cooler, and your socket areas. For awhile when i had a huge CPU cooler, it pressed up against a single sticks heat spreaders, but it didn't cause significantly of a dilemma other than concern.

One stick worked good. MB (ASUS M31-H/HDMI) and OS (Windows XP) recognized and booted memory with no problem at defualt setting. One particular stick was entirely dead. Tried in single and dual channel. Tried single channel in all sockets. Tried different memory speeds and slight voltage enhance Ƒ.90v). Just dead. Replaced with TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX which worked fine. Newegg's service is the best. I called and explained the difficulty. Prompt, polite, and qualified service. Offered possibilities on RMA, refund or replacement. Expedited replacement. Outstanding!!!

It worked. Initially set worked well and was overclockable. Second set was a various revision (rev 2 - initially set was 4) and was trash. Memory dumps any time I so a lot as moved any latency or the frequency. Perhaps this ram they sent me is broken. I ran tests on it at default and it checked out fine with over a day of memtest and pressure tests. I bought this on sale for ฽ following paying 贎 a few months earlier. It looks like they supplanted the original very good ram with this junk old revision and place it on sale. Buyer beware.

Instantly recognized; No problems with booting or memory errors. Every little thing still operating good immediately after many months of gaming activity. These sticks are a little larger than standard memory sticks... I had to cut some of the frame of my CPU fan for them to fit on my motherboard. I'd buy another pair, but its present price tag has been sitting way also high for several months.

Excellent ram, worked the instant i installed them, did not have to mess with any settings for it to function with my Gigabyte DS3R Mobo. None Most likely gonna get a second pair now that the price tag has dropped even a lot more.

Fantastic RAM. Corsair has only ever given one particular poor stick of RAM in over a dozen builds.. Cost is fantastic.... Can't go incorrect. None.... Maxed out an old method with this RAM. Old RAM was Corsair as nicely, with the cool LED activity lights...(still going strong)...

I've been running this RAM in a desktop I built more than two years ago. I've never had any errors and the more than all speed of the computer is particularly fast. I haven't OC'd the memory but there seriously is no require to. None Just lately added one more 4Gb kit to the desktop about a month ago bring the total up to eight. this desktop runs 24 hours a day for almost a month at a time hosting my 6 VM OS's + the host OS. At the finish of the month it's a reboot to clear PF and then back on for one more month.Intel 3.0Ghz oc to 3.2Ghz 8Gb DDR2 800Mhz RamAsus P5Efor the most part stock cooling.

great ram.. really speeded up my old computer that had 2gb's.. now operating on 4gb with these and the speed differance is extremely noticable... produced my MW2 run alot smootherthese also look excellent.. the heatsinks are great.. extremely durable feeling no cons.. would get them agian

1. Fast. There is literally no speed distinction in between this RAM running 800mhz and my OCZ Reaper 1066mhz totally clocked, but the Corsair is far far more stabletwo. Reliable. Has lasted 1yr with much handling with a single stick just lately giving me difficultythree. Warrantee. Can't beat a lifetime warrantee.four. Service. My RMA was issued by Corsair with no hassle, and the longest delay was transit time. Doesn't last forever? Genuinely none inside reasonably high expectations. Purchased this when it was considerably far more expensive, and would gladly pay the similar price tag again. This also tends to make a excellent option to higher-priced 1066 modules. I'm confident high-finish system test software program could tell the difference, but my games have run greater on this.

Affordable when i purchased! reliable, and operates nicely with my other corsair ram! 1 stick was DOA, so i sent it as RMA, got it back, and same problem. didn't wanna pay anymore income for this ram so i just said forget it. seems a couple of other people had this difficulty too... would be nice if both sticks worked, but it has been doing a stellar job on its own

Corsair! Works wonderful with vista 64bit and 680i series board. It took all current bios, and an instant install of SP1. This is my 2nd set, i'm now running 8gb. I just bought this 2nd set about 10 minutes ago, so i dont have them however :( took some critical "cohersing" to get Vista 64bit to boot with each sticks in. I just purchased this 2nd set about ten minutes ago, so i dont have them but :( to the guy that stated the ought to post the voltage . . . it's written/printed on the side of the ramstick itself . .

*Fast, stable, cheap, and cool. Will need I say additional! *owned for 6 mons no cons no problems at all with them. They do the job, and very nicely with no concerns want an additional 2 when prices drop once again!

No flaws, method booted up usually after I substituted these modules for the current pair of same spec (also Corsair) 1GB modules. Technique voltages are unchanged but average board temperature went up by 2 deg C. My XP Pro program only recognized them as two.five GB RAM. If I upgrade my OS to a 64 bit version I'll re-install the old 1GB modules to the now open A2 -B2 slots for a fully recognized 6 GB total. None. Absolutely nothing unexpected here. In nine months of overclocked 24ǝ operation, this memory has performed flawlessly. The heatspreaders do their task, keeping temps low. None. The high heatfins may well cause complications with clearance in between memory and CPU heatsink. Regardless of whether this is a difficulty for you depends on your motherboard layout and the CPU heatsink you use.

none have had this ram well over a year now, and have had zero problems what so ever. none This ram will give you a five. in windows expertise if your tough drive has a speed limiter jumper on it that makes the hard drive run at 1.5 instead of the advertised 3.. Trust me take away the speed limiting jumper and you will get your five.. Understand a bit much more about your hardware. Those of you who do have difficulties contact corsair mike on the evga forums, he functions for corsair and can aid you out.

worked within parameters. none I applied the Memory to adjust a system FSB to 1600mhz, the method ran with out memory error but the cpu was too close to the best heat parameter, I'll have to go to an aftermarket heat remedy even though the memory worked nicely within constraints.

I enjoy this RAM. It functions wonderful at rated speed and timings. 800MHz five-five-five-18 1.8v No DOAs Cost jumps about a bit. I got a quite excellent value on my set and was ready to order an additional for 8GB total but the value went way up. When it comes down once more I will pull the trigger. Gigabyte P45 UD3R, E8400 鷐x8 @ 1.25v), EVGA 9800GTX+, Corsair 450w PSU, All Noctua Cooling.

Looks good, stays cool. This is some rapidly memory and entirely awesome for anybody on a spending budget. Didn't come with popcorn to appreciate with it :) Vista Ultimate 64 bit, MMO's and FPS load times are a factor of the past for me.
