CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Comment:

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Cons:Louder than my OCZ supply.
Pros:InexpensiveMatte finish Comment:
This is a decent power supply, but has a slightly audible high-pitched noise. It's only possible to hear it if the room is absolutely silent though. |

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Cons:- lack of 80+ cert
Pros:- cheap- reliable- well packaged / sleeved- quality build Comment:
For what it's intended to do, it is very good. A cheap power supply that won't die out on you. 430W is more than you'll really need for a basic system. ONly drawback is lack of 80+ energy efficiency. |

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Cons:None that i can think of
Pros:Very Quiet, low noise Comment:
I have this in my i3 htpc build and its very quiet... this is more than powerful to handle an is and ssd. TV volume has to be very low in order to hear any fan noise. 100% recommended. |

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Casing and sleeved cables make physical appearance and fit and finish attractive. Quiet operation with enough cables for a typical consumer build. For those using it in a case where the PSU still sits up top, the 120m fan will likely lower your case ambient and cpu temperatures a touch. It shaved off 2-3c off idle/load. Comment:
This unit took a bit of a step back from the one it appears to have replaced, the CX400 which was a great unit with a 30A 12v, 3yr warranty, 80+ certified and output rating at 40c vs. 28A 12v, 2yr warranty, not 80+ certified and output rating at 30c.However, it is still a decent unit and a good buy if bought on sale. For it's intended use in the low end/budget bracket it is up to task as it more than does the job in my backup system, a stock Pentium D945. |

Cons:
Cables are a little short
Pros: Build qualityBrand nameWarranty Comment:
This is a good beginner Power Supply Unit that will fit the needs of 90% of users, especially those non-enthusiast. Yet it is easy to setup and comes with a great warranty for the price. Corsair's quality is undisputed and this is no different. |

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 CMPSU-430CX 430W Power Supply
Cons:
-Apparently the CX400 has a more powerful +12v rail
Pros: -Build quality is amazing -Got it for ~30 bucks Comment:
Its enough to power my budget rig. Enough for the athlon 64X2 6000 (125W), and the XFX ATI 5770. Its probably not enough if you plan to overclock. |

Pros: Reputable brand; excellent quality; 2-year warranty Comment:
Corsair is suppose to be a highly reputable brand that makes quality products. No point of getting anything higher than 430W with a system with a basic video card. 2-year warranty is nice. |

For low budget builds only around $40 this is one of the better once atm out there. The thing rouns farely qiet andcomes with just enough cables to get you going. Though if you intend to use it in a bigger case I'd look in to something else. |

Cons:
- Lack of connectors. Having said that, this is a 430W unit and it's for budget build only- Only 2 year warranty
Pros: - Price (when it's on sale or PM)- Solid build- Sleeved cables Comment:
It's the go-to PSU for any budget build using low performance video card. It actually doesn't feel cheap (sleeved cables and so on). |

it's a powersupply that can handle pritty much anything, used this in my older system for 1 year with gtx 280 and 3 HD's no issues, now i've build another small system and had to get this psu again ! |
Incredibly reasonable cost, warranty, reliable rated power, superior brand, CWT DSA platform. Having a Corsair PSU in your create is one less thing to worry about .. even the spending budget models. Not modular which is a plus for me as it means a additional solid electrical connection. None so far. As superior as my CX400 perhaps a bit heavier in weight and voltages are a bit tighter.Looks like all Samxon caps which are like Teapo brand. As to be expected in a sub-贄 energy supply.
